La literie déplorable et c’est avant tout ce que l’on recherche dans un hébergement. Très très mou pour le lit, très dure pour la banquette! Deux mécanismes de rideaux cassés. Porte de douche déboîtée…personnel absent. Pas d’accueil, en trois jours nous n’avons vu personne.Boîte à clef au modèle connu comme impossible à ouvrir. Décoration « IKEA » et même les fleurs étaient en plastique.
Pas content le client d’avoir payé 300€ la nuit dans ces conditions. On ne demande pas le luxe mais un minimum à ce prix là.
Nous réclamerons en temps et en heure une indemnisation.

We loved it from the moment we saw it. The owner came to greet us in person, which was nice and as for the cabin it was simply awesome. It seemed small from the outside, but it was pretty spacious inside. And very cosy! The kitchen was fully equipped, there were bathroom accessories and the beds were really comfortable. The girl who was looking after the cabins was very kind, and she gave us some interesting tips about where to go for a trip or a walk. I also need to mention the location, which was perfect for our daily trips. The accommodation is located right next to the Road 1 and it took us just about 30 mins to get to the Skaftafell National Park.

Lovely modern studio accomodation in a rural setting. All you need to cook a meal. Warm and cosy. You need to bring groceries with you.
I hadn’t realized it was a co-joined unit with others and you could hear some noise through the walls. I would still recommend it

Such a magical cottage. A very peaceful location, quiet, all together 3 or 4 cottages around, other quests quiet too. Cottage has a nice terrace, interior was warm, tidy, lots of wood, so welcoming. Kitchen, all was perfect. The best accomodation among 10 different that we had during our 14 days trip around Iceland. Thank you Heiða and Bjössi!

We had a very good stay! The cottage, although quite small for 4 people (but for a couple surely perfect!), was cozy and comfortable. The possibility of a flexible self-check in and check out was also very convenient. We didn't get to meet the hosts personally, but they were always super friendly and responsive via messages. All in all, a very nice experience that we can definitely recommend!
The wifi, although in general very good, did not work during the night (from around midnight until past 7:00 am).

We had a lovely stay at Laekjaborgir Guesthouse! Our tiny, but very cozy studio apartment had everything we needed. It was our best stay in Iceland so far :)

The cottage was perfect, very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The bed was very comfy, it was very relaxing after a long day of glacier climbing to stay here. We even saw the northern lights just a short drive down the road!

Had a great stay at the bungalow. We needed to arrive 1 day earlier due to road closures because of heavy snow fall and the host managed to get us a different cottage just for 1 night. Was also very easy to check in

Very neat and clean. Easy to find, excellent instructions from owners about everything we needed. Conveniently situated, glaciers are just a relatively short drive away.

From checking to checkout, everything went smoothly. We were a little nervous about the remote location but it turned out to be very straightforward.
Our request for checkin details did not yield any concrete information. Due to remote location of the properties and winter days being too short, we did not know what to expect when we reached the property and requested details like checkin office if there was one. What was the room or cabin number?. Was there any code for the door or the cabin that we were assigned? The biggest worry was that the number mentioned in reservation confirmation response was not working so we tried email and both times we received a standard pre-written response that didn't address our concerns resulting in some nervousness.

Location is wonderful offering both sunrise and sunset views. Despite being in a remote area, everything was properly stocked and we could use the fully equipped kitchen to cook our dinner.

A great little duplex along the ring road. It was a spacious area and had everything we needed to cook a dinner. Easy self checkin and checkout.
Our only inconvenience was that the shower drain didn't seem to drain very well and we were concerned about it running over the shower pan. The walls seemed to be a bit thin and we could hear a neighboring guest who kept coughing through the night.
