We felt like locals staying in this apartment, so close to the sea and the buzz of Monterosso. Plus we were right at the start of the hike to Vernazza, with the beach a 3 minute walk. The best part of this place is the rooftop deck with amazing views of the sea and town, we spent a lot of time of there. We enjoyed our time and hope to be back!

We loved our stay! The only confusion was how to walk to get from the train station to the check in, but the host messaged us right away. There are many stairs to climb with luggage, but we found that to be true, no matter where you stay in Cinque Terre :)

We loved Carla's place in Monterosso!! It wasn't our first visit to the town so we knew we wanted something nearer to the Beach end of the Old town. This apartment fit the bill perfectly and did not disappoint! The view from both the breakfast deck and the upper roof deck are incredible and the apartment itself was clean and comfortable with wonderful AC (it was a bit hot during the afternoons this visit). We will definitely stay here again! Thanks, Carla!!

Great view with roof top terrace

The rooftop deck did not disappoint, offering unobstructed views of the water. The house is tucked away in a quiet location, and a very short walk to the beach. You feel like a local just steps away from the town center. Carmen greeted us with a warm welcome and provided all the essential information to ensure a comfortable stay. Restaurants are nearby, or you can stop by a local market and create your own feast at home. Highly recommend!

Great location overlooking Piazza Guiseppe Garibaldi, the play ground and the beach. Great to watch the town come to life in the early morning while sipping coffee on the lower terrace, and having dinner and enjoying the sounds of locals coming out to play in the evening from the larger upper terrace. We could send the kids down to the playground and still watch them play from the lower terrace, and dry our swimsuits on the upper. We often went for a swim after 7 PM just like the locals, but in the free area of the beach. As the locals have their own beach we often had the free beach to ourselves as the tourists had already gone home by then. La Casina offered easy access to the old town, a free beach, the hiking trails, and the ferry, and only a short walk to the train station. A great place to stay.

We enjoyed the apartment, it was the perfect place to base our visit to the beautiful Cinque Terre. Carla is a terrific host and was great at providing assistance as well as keeping us informed. Monterosso is the prefect place to experience the Cinque Terre.

A little gem with a fantastic ocean view from the roof terrace. We were 3 adults and thanks to the sofabed and ample storage space, it didn’t feel crowded. Would stay here again next time!

The apartment is closed to everything, the best view in Monterosso. I’m thinking to bring my family next time and I hope we will be able to stay in this apartment. The only issue we had is with hot water and had taken us time to figure out how it works. But otherwise best accommodation. Thank you so much

This property met our needs very well. Our favorite part was the rooftop deck and the location, right off Piazza Garibaldi. The apartment itself is very basic but very comfortable. Grazie Carla!

The apartment was beautiful with possibly the best location in Monterosso. View from the roof terrace was amazing. Immaculately clean. Perfect base to explore this stunning area.

Very simple, nothing negative to say. From the outset Carla was very helpful with the questions we had, and continued to be so with all our communications. The property was as she had said and what you see in the details. Very clean, excellent views over the beach with private terraces for those relaxing moments. All the amenities you would expect and more, with some excellent recommendations on local restaurants. If you do want to do the walks between local towns do remember to talk good walking shoes or at the very least trainers with some good tread! Would I recommend Monterosso, Yes. Would I recommend this property, absolutely YES! Enjoy!

Lovely apartment in a great location. We thought Monterosso was a great town to use as a base for exploring Cinque Terre. The apartment had great views from the two terraces. Happily stay again.

Easy acess to everything, train station, boat and the trails are steps away.

We spent five days at this nice apartment. It was very clean and equipped with all the basics you need. The large terrace upstairs (for the sole use of this unit) has an awesome view which was the best part for us. When we weren't on the terrace, we appreciated the air conditioning as it was a bit warm and humid when we were there. The only cons are that the living area is a little small, there was no internet available, and the walk uphill may be difficult for some. Otherwise, it was the perfect place from which to explore the Cinque Terre. We highly recommend it, especially for the view and the location in the old town near the beach, restaurants, shopping and hiking.

An exellent apartment in the best location and with the best views via the rooftop terrace. Carla was lovely and very helpfull, had agreat time.

Had a great stay in Monterosso. Apartment was great! Would have appreciated a better overview of the apartment when we got there. Seemed to be a little bit of a language barrier with Sabrina. There should. be a note above the hot water switch labeling it to not be turned off. We did not have hot water for first day (we may have accidentally turned off the switch trying to find a light). I think if it had been labeled , this may have been prevented. Carla was very reachable when this happened and came to the rescue. Easy walk to town and trail to Vernazza. Laudromat in town was easy to get to and Paula was extremely helpful there. Would stay at this apartment again in a heartbeat!
