We loved our stay at Mistle Cove! The apartment and it’s surroundings were beautiful and just what we needed for some rest and relaxation. Lots of restaurants steps away and Dover Beach a few mins down the road for lovely walks and ocean swims. Several days we saw turtles swimming close to our Mistle Cove beach! We will be back!

Apartment is just wonderful. The building is so well situated on 'the strip' and yet so private with its own magical beach. The landscaping makes it feel like paradise with all of the green, the pool and the ocean just literally at your back door. Gorgeous master bedroom and very comfortable main living area with well stocked kitchen. We would love to return.

Fantastic! Great location right on private, sandy beach albeit a little rocky once you get in the water. Lovely view of the sea and so relaxing to hear the waves breaking and feel the warm tropical breeze. The apartment was super clean, bright and airy and stocked with all amenities. Could use a few new pillows and a larger fry pan but other than that, the place was impeccable. Will definitely recommend to others.

It was amazing! The condo was spacious and very well equipped. Incredible view of the ocean. Everything we needed was walking distance. We will be back! Thank you so much. It was a privilege to stay at your home.

From the moment we expressed interest in Nigel’s property to all throughout our stay, we could not have been happier with our experience. Nigel’s responsiveness and assistance was great and his place is even better. The location is directly on a small private beach with sea turtles hanging out. Out the door is a vibrant street scene with restaurants and bars for every taste. The apartment is very spacious and well appointed. All in all, wonderful. Only one word of warning: bring your own food! Grocery prices on the island are insane these days!

We spent 10 nights at this great apartment. The location is perfect for local bars and restaurants, convenience store and getting around the island. All things we needed were available in the apartment, great Wi-Fi, good tv and a well appointed kitchen. The air conditioning was great, we could hear the rolling waves at the front and didn’t hear anything from the st Lawrence gap side. This was the first time we have stayed in an apartment rather than a hotel in Barbados, it was perfect having a beach and swimming pool without the large crowds. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks to Nigel for making his apartment available.

Wonderful stay at Nigel’s very comfortable and well equipped beachfront appointment. Arguably the best view in the block. Settle back on the terrace and watch the waves crash in and the hummingbirds feed from the tropical garden, magic! The Gap has everything you need, a well stocked convenience store adjacent to Mistle Cove and restaurants and bars to suit every budget. Mimosa next door was great, Sharkey’s always a favourite and fantastic pancakes at Happy Days Cafe. Enjoyed day trips to Flower Forest and Welchman Hall Gully. The Boatyard at Carlisle Bay is excellent value with a snorkelling trip included and the best beach was Batts Rock with a sensational lunch at La Cabane

This is a wonderful property in a fantastic area (which was constantly confirmed by the locals & taxi drivers). The area is perfect for exploring yet you are steps away from bars and restaurants and only a short walk to great beaches. There is also very little noise later at night even being so close to amenities. The property has an unbelievable view of the small cove and ocean where incredibly even the great photos on the website do not do it justice. The property is well appointed with quality furnishings & equipment and extremely spacious. Both bedrooms are more than adequate and although one is deemed to be an ensuite, the other one has a bathroom directly off the small hallway. The owner, Nigel, was superb with his communication for the two years we have been trying to get to Barbados and the apartment (COVID restrictions). We would not hesitate to go back to Barbados and also the apartment. The only issue is that we would have more people wanting to come!

The first few days of our stay, there were loads of sea turtles right in front of the unit, so you could just snorkel out with the turtles! Everything was just a described, nicely equipped, and spacious. Best views for the garden level units, and conveniently located with a lot within easy walking distance. Great spot!

From pre arrival to departure everything was brilliant. Communication excellent and the apartment was outstanding. We came for a rest and to share with friends/ family and we had the most wonderful time with lots of memories. Housekeeping was outstanding . The view from balcony is one to remember on those wet, cold English days. Thank you for a fabulous time.

Perfect, spotless property right at the beach. The beach is only accessible through the property and the restaurant beside it. The stretch of sand is narrow, so it may not be the best beach to lounge, but the sound of the waves and the unparalleled views are a delight. The garden is very well taken care of, and the swimming pool and lounge chairs are a nice addition. A beach club at Dover Beach with rental chairs and parasols is a short walk away. The unit itself is spacious, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and great to cook in. The master bedroom overlooks the ocean and garden, and both master and guest bedrooms are air-conditioned. The property is centrally located at St Lawrence Gap, with conveniente stores, restaurants, bars, and beach clubs at walking distance. A myriad of beaches is just a short drive away. Our favorite is Pebbles, only 10m by car. We only noticed the noise during New Year's Eve, other than that the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet, despite its location. In summary, a great vacation property. Premium views, convenient location, and spotlessly maintained. We loved it and wish we could have stayed longer.

I stayed at Mistle cove for 4 weeks where I worked and also took time to vacation and see the island. The accommodation was perfect for both, there were numerous places for me to set up my laptop and work. My favourite being on the balcony overlooking what can only be described as a postcard view. On the vacation front mistle cove is perfectly located in the gap where there are an array of great restaurants and places to grab a cocktail. MC also has parking spaces which makes hiring a car very easy. Also it is a very short walk away from bus stops which allows you to get to most of the popular places on the island ie holetown, bridgetown, oistins The host was very responsive and Betty the house keeper was helpful and available whenever needed. I couldn't recommend this accommodation highly enough I was actually sad leaving 101 had everything you need and was pleasantly suprised that there was also teabags, spices and all cooking utilities. Apart from the location the view from the balcony is the best feature of the condo

Perfect location which was quieter than we expected with St Lawrence Gap just in front of the condo. Communication was good and security of the property was excellent. We spent all our time at the 'front', opening on to Mistle Cove. Fav local restaurant was Harlequin just a few yards away. We had a rental car for the duration but if you don't mind the immediate busy locality it is not essential. Not our first visit to Barbados so we ventured to past favs including Holetown, restaurants, and other beaches. Dover beach, a three minutes walk was clean and uncrowded, and gave us a daily swim and exercise! Mistle Cove was a little rough at times with rolling waves but a beautiful spot. The housekeeper Betty was a treat, a lovely lady. Everything at the property worked well.

Hi we'd attained last year in Sapphire because we thought the 'Gap' ould be 'noisy'. But it isn't! So Mistle Cove's the place to be - EVERYTHING is on the doorset- - 20 feet away from the Gap Stores which has almost everything you can want. The apartment itself is really 'high class' We like to cook in most evenings, and ar used to our kitchen at home. However there wasn't ANYTHING we have at home for cooking that isn't provided here.

We are a family of 4 and had a 2 wk stay in Nigel's apartment. I can honestly say that it was one of our best vacations. The place is spacious, clean, well equipped, well situated (next to beach, convenience store, restaurants)...I could go on and on. My favorite of all is the private beach, when I say private.. I mean private :) You can spot turtles out in the sea while swimming. We also saw baby turtles hatching from their eggs and taking their first walk to the sea. I cannot recommend this place enough

We had a great trip in September 2020. Stayed in Nigel's apartment for 1 month. The apartment is located right next to a beautiful private beach. The communication with Nigel and his team was excellent, always. Within 10 minutes we always got answers to our questions. The apartment was very well kept and clean. I absolutely recommend the apartment!

This was our second stay at 101 Mistle Cove and we were once again delighted with the apartment. All three beds had new mattresses (compared to a year ago) and the beds were even more comfortable (especially the twins in the second bedroom). The place is still immaculate, with a beautiful layout that allows for an open, spacious feel. Being on the first floor is a real plus here; you have the impression you are on your own private beach. We had a couple of issues with little things that needed repair and the property manager's reactions were always extremely timely and efficient. Any time I needed anything at all, someone was available. The building was quite full, but the atmosphere was tranquil and relaxing. The other guests were all respectful and friendly. We rented a car this time because I had family elsewhere on the island and we thought it would be necessary in order to do things with them. But if that had not been the case, I really wouldn't have bothered. You can get everywhere so easily from here via walking, bus or simply hiring a taxi for a day trip (after negotiating a good bit first, of course!). The Gap is one of the best places to be on the island. A big thank you to the owner and team at 101 Mistle Cove for another successful vacation!

This was our first trip to Barbados. I thought how perfect can this place be to have all 5 stars. Well I wasn’t disappointed. From my first communication to locking the door on the way out this place was wonderful. Would defiantly go back!

First time user of ‘Home and Away’ and everything was seamless, smooth and very easy. The property was exactly as described if not better. Great experience.

This apartment, the shared/pool area in front of the apartments and the location, were perfect. It was our first time in Barbados, we loved the island (such lovely people) and this beautiful apartment and its location really made our holiday. Thank you. We hope to be back in the future.

This apartment made our holiday! So well equipped and the views!!!! The location is brilliant. Just step outside to an ample amount of bars/restaurants etc both left and right. However this didn't impact on the quietness of the apartments. We even saw the turtles trying to lay eggs on the beach outside the apartments.

We had a terrific stay. Great location and lovely grounds with view of the beach in front of the property. Spacious condo with great amenities .Support staff especially Rosa were very helpful. Would gladly stay there again.

So relaxing , perfect location. Only small disappointment was the welcome pack, so basic compared with the apartment we stayed in last year in Mistle Cove. But will still be back next loved the apartment so much

Having seen the photos and read previous reviews we had high expectations which I can say were exceeded. Every item in the apartment was high quality and in top class condition, including the balcony furniture. The building, gardens and pool are also very well maintained. Apartment 101 also has an enviable location with a view straight out to the very pretty beach, a nice place to go and sit and watch the turtles which were quite close to the shore. The apartment was kept in pristine condition, including linen changes, by the wonderful Phoebe. We also had regular contact from Carolina and everything from our arrival onwards ran really smoothly. We hired a car which was delivered to us, the rep came in to complete the paperwork and his first words when he looked out to the view was Wow! That says it all. We would most definitely stay here again, we've rented a lot of apartments / villas and this was right up there with the very best. You can sit on the balcony in perfect peace day or night or leave the building and right outside are plenty of bars and restaurants to keep you happy for a couple of weeks. We had the rear bedroom facing the car park and road and weren't disturbed by any noise whatsoever. All of our contact with Nigel was really easy and efficient, it was great to be able to pay in sterling, many thanks Nigel we had a fabulous holiday.
