Large apartment of character with private courtyard.
Muy bonito apartamento tranquilo de 110 metros cuadrados, en edificio de carácter con vidrieras, molduras, techos altos, hermosos volúmenes. Completamente reformado para 6 a 8 personas. 1 dormitorio con 140 camas, 1 dormitorio con 2 camas 140, sofá cama 140 en la sala de estar, 1 baño grande con ducha italiana. WC separado
Se hospedará en Square Gambetta, idealmente ubicado a 10 minutos a pie de la ciudad medieval y a 5 minutos del centro de la ciudad. En verano, la piscina municipal está a 10 minutos a pie a lo largo de las orillas del Aude en silencio.
Aparcamiento gratuito a 2 minutos o tarifa justo en frente del apartamento. Estación a 10 minutos andando. Traslado al aeropuerto 2 minutos.

This is a wonderful place to stay.
It is located close to the town and to the cite - so you can walk to both for a great holiday.
It has a lovely outdoor area which was sunny but cool and the house was a haven from the hot weather.
The check in and check out process were easy and as explained beforehand.
Thank you - we will be coming back again to visit.

Location is excellent - 20 minute walk to old city. Rooms are large. Living and dining area good, bedrooms not so good. Bedroom with 2 doubles was dark and not especially clean. Very strange bedding all of which is old and needs replacing. Pillows were awful. Electrical sockets in unhelpful places. Kitchen well equipped. Outside space could be charming but it was dirty and had poor quality furniture. Needs an upgrade. Towels were also limited in supply and poor quality.

Stayed for 3 nights in May 2024. The apartment is really quirky, well serviced and contains all you need for a short stay. The location is excellent 3 mins walk from the bridge to the old town and 3 mins from the new town centre with its lovely shops and restaurants. There is a little road noise in the front bedroom.
The outside space wasn’t really usable for my family.

We had a lovely stay , only one concern were the lumpy cushions used for pillows, other than that the apartment was clean , spacious ,and well located. Beautiful details , especially the shower !

The apartment is in an excellent location. We had 2 nights and we could walk to the castle city within 10-12 minutes and we were also near to the city centre the other side and had a lovely tapas meal out .

Easy to find. Very well positioned for both medieval city and centre of Carcassonne. Didn’t realise it was a basement property with one bedroom close to the main road. However it suited our needs and enjoyed our stay.

Schönste Souterrainwohnung, ideale Lage
Meine Familie ist es gewohnt, dass ich besondere Ferienwohnungen aussuche, aber als wir hier die Tür geöffnet haben, waren alle sprachlos: sehr hohe und große Räume, hochwertige Wandvertäfelung und Fenster, modernes Bad und schöner Innenhof. Mit hat vor allem die ruhige Lage zwischen Innenstadt und Fluss und Burg (La Cité) gefallen. Großer Plarz mit Spielplatz vor der Tür. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Das alles zu einem angemessenen Preis und kostenloser Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Übergabe/Anreise mit Schlüsselbox unproblematisch. Kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge: Deckenlampe im Wohnzimmer funktioniert nicht, Schlafzimmer links Tür klemmt. Sitzpolster für Gartenmöbel regengeschützt aufbewahren.
Wir waren nur zwei Nächte dort, können uns aber auch längeren Aufenthalt vorstellen.

La propriétaire très à l’écoute et vraiment gentille. L’appartement est très bien équipé et proche des points touristiques et des commerces. Nous avons apprécié.

Grand appartement, spacieux et idéalement placé, entre Cité et Canal du midi, joliment décoré.
Petite déception sur l'extérieur, avec du mobilier vétuste et inconfortable. La cour aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement.

Clean and comfortable apartment in Carcassonne
This beautiful apartment in Carcassonne was a great place for our family getaway to Carcassonne (1 almost-3-year-old, 2 parents, 2 grandparents). The check-in and check-out process was very easy, the apartment is clean and well-furnished. It was an easy walk to the castle and to the more modern city center. Our son loved the public square just across from the apartment, with its playground and wonderful children's fountain (perfect for cooling off on a hot afternoon!). The stairs to reach the larger bedroom are rather steep so we were careful to accompany our son every time he wanted to climb them. It is perhaps obvious but is worth pointing out that the apartment is not adapted for people with mobility issues, as you must take a flight of 14 steps down to reach the front door. Once there, however, most of the apartment is on one level or only one step up (wc, large and classy Italian shower). The owner responded promptly to any questions we had, and our stay was smooth and comfortable. We would return again!

Stayed 3 nights and had a very good experience overall. Most amenities you could think of are available in the apartment. Owner is very responsive. Apartment is large and nice inside. Location is great for most Carcassonne activities. The towels could have been a little better and there was not enough paper, but those are minor issues. The apartment fit my family of 5 easily.

Elegant Central Property On Gambetta
Very clean and elegant property with tasteful decor in an attractive building. Great location on the laid back Gambetta Square with a wonderful view of the medieval city only a stroll away. Just to be aware, one side of the property looks out onto street level, the other side onto a back courtyard. The courtyard has great potential, but is not so developed that one would sit out for breakfast or such. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay, felt quite private, property was well equipped, would return again and can only recommend. Thanks for everything!

and close to great shopping. The fortress of Carcassonne lies across the river and is also a short, uphill walk away. The only drawbacks were the uneven floor levels and a little traffic noise from a busy street. It’s plenty large for 4 or more but has only one bathroom. We recommend.

Beautiful and so well located. Literally right below the medieval castle and right by the river walk. Loved having so much room to move around. Decor was very classy. Bed was comfortable.

Lovely and spacious
Stayed here as a family of 4 during July. The apartment is very convenient to both the restaurant / cafe area in town (4 blocks) and to the old city / castle (15 minute walk). Very spacious rooms with high ceilings, lovely quiet courtyard, fully outfitted kitchen and modern bathroom with shower. Slightly warm (it was 95 degrees outside each day) but fan helped and the courtyard side stays cool. Really enjoyed our stay, and the owner’s instructions were perfect.

L'appartement était extrêmement bien situé à 5 min a pied du centre et 10-15 min de la cité médiévale.
Rien ne manquez que ce soit en cuisine ou dans la salle de bain tout y été.
Le linge de maison qui était fournis était propre et correspondait au nombre de personnes.
Je recommande cet appartement sans hésitez !

Beautiful spacious apartment in great location
The apartment was a stylish, spacious and comfortable and well equipped. Given that it was December it was lovely and warm. We came for the Christmas markets and festivities and the location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet spot but with lots of good restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. There was a private courtyard outside which would be very useful for sitting out in warmer weather. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend in a beautiful apartment. The owner was very accommodating and responded quickly to our enquiries.
