The best part about our stay were the staff; the couldn’t do enough for us and even went out to buy ingredients to make the local dish we chose from the menu (we have found the lack of availability of food on a menu ubiquitous across the Philippines) when they could have easily asked us to pick something else. The hotel is clearly trying very hard to be good and successful. We visited at a very quiet time of year (December). We felt very welcomed and relaxed throughout our stay.

The bathroom is a wet room so the shower water gets everywhere then gurgles all night as it drains away. It also means the whole toilet area is wet when you visit. A staff member kept changing the music channel on the tv in the restaurant while we were eating close by it which was a little annoying.

The hotel itself is nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel was not outdated which was a nice surprise. Bed was nice and soft. I liked the on-site restaurant as it served tasty food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Within walking distance to the main street of tabaco city. Room and restaurant was value for money.

Keeping in mind, it is in a rural area...the people who lived next door to the hotel had roosters (I was able to see 3). I was woken up every morning (between 4am - 5am) by their loud crowing. Maybe they could work on not having roosters so Close to the rooms, it's very uncomfortable to be woken up early like that on vacation. Other than that, no other issues.
