Super comfortable bed and friendly staff

The floors are super creaky. Unfortunately could hear every step outside my door.

Me encantó la habitación, la cama era cómoda, aunque la habitación un poco pequeña si hubiera sido para 2 personas. A pesar de que no tenía baño privado, dentro de la habitación había un lavamanos que era muy útil. Lo único malo es que cada vez que se cerraba alguna puerta de una habitación el sonido era muy fuerte, lo que molestaba en la noche. Me llamó la atención lo limpio y cómodo del baño compartido. La ducha también era muy buena.

Me llamó la atención que en un lugar donde está todo tan bien cuidado y pensado sucediera eso.

Beautiful decor, soft sheets and comfortable bed. Nice little communal kitchen with T2 tea and sitting area.

Very noisy. Could hear people talking and stomping up and down the hallway until late at night, and even a man clearing his throat at 2am in the morning! Also a bit out of the way of Bondi. I would much rather pay $20 extra a night for a proper hotel room closer to Bondi Beach and my own bathroom (and a good nights sleep).

Very easy to reach any places I want to go, you could choose to take the bus at the bus stop which is quite close to the lodge or just walk to the bondi junction ( perhaps 15mins ) to take the train to the city. The room is not big but enough and comfortable, though we use the shared bathroom but it's clean and so good! The kitchen is so nice as well, you could have meals inside and they offer several machines to help you with your meals! The staffs there are quite generous and nice!!!!!!!

The voice insulation is not very good, sometimes if others leave early in the morning and move their luggage, it would be very noisy. But I understand it couldn't be avoided.

It was ideally situated, short walk Bondi Beach and Bondi Junction and therefore the whole city. Loved how it was decorated and the lobby smelled gorgeous. The staff were friendly and i enjoyed my morning chats as i left to go check out the sights of sydney. Oh almost forgot that they have stocked the mini fridge in the room with water and local soft drinks, the pink lemonade was the nicest drink i ever drinked! And good shampoo, condition and handwash etc was also provided and smelled lovely too.

My beach towel was taken by the cleaning staff by accident but my own fault for bringing a white towel as it looked like one of theirs. The cleaning of the rooms was poor during my stay, a quick straighting of the bed linen and change out the towels. It was very on my arrival tho. Sometimes were was a nasty smell in the room but i think it was the air in sydney generally rather then hotel. My room was tidy, just enough room for bed, sink and dresser/wardrobe thing and a bit of circulation area. In saying all that i would stay there again.

The Baxley Bondi was immaculate and seriously one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The staff, especially Kate, were extremely helpful whether that meant recommending a certain tour operator or helping with public transportation to get around the city. I highly recommend this property and I will not stay anywhere else the next time I'm in Sydney.

A few added things would finish the rooms perfectly - a box of tissues in the room - a towel rail next to the sink - somewhere to put clothing. the joint storage/cupboard thing isn’t great. or move the cups/glasses/kettle etc the tissue dispensers in the bathrooms is also not great.

The host at the reception was very nice and always tried her best to help with the request. The accomodation is fresh, clean and well designed.

Location was good, looks very nice in pictures and clean rooms.

The rooms are quite small and incredibly noisy (could hear a phone conversation word for word next door). Especially for the price we paid, I would have expected a lot higher quality rooms, with proper sound insulation. When we gave this feedback to staff (including afterward per email), everyone said they’d follow up, but no one actually followed through and got back to us.

I arrived early and the staff were able to store my luggage until my room was ready. The room was very clean and comfortable, it had its own sink with running water, a kettle, mini fridge as well as complimentary snacks. The bed and pillows were comfortable and i found it easy to sleep through the night. There were multiple bathrooms and at check in you are allocated to 1 of those bathrooms which i found worked very well. Overall the facilities were modern and new, the bathrooms were cleaned daily and personal rooms cleaned (bed made, towels replaced) every second day. The location was also very good, right on the 333 bus route which could take you from Bondi to Circular Quay.

Hotel was clean and modern with amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Even the compact room was spacious enough for the two of us and offered plentiful facilities. Location is very good, right next to a park and walking distance to Bondi beach or a short bus journey away. My only regret is not booking more nights!
