The cabin was very, very clean. We enjoyed having the kitchenette to make breakfast ourselves and the two bedrooms for the boys to have their own space. I walked to the lake each morning and we sat outside many evenings. It was close enough to the tourist destinations, but far enough away to feel private and calm! Would definitely stay here again!

This vacay was super smooth as far as finding and renting this cabin. The price was perfect. Easy check in, the rental was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Just a quick run to grocery store and we were set. Location was super close to all the touristy things we wanted to do. Short walk to lake, theres a playground, and even made friends with cabin next door. I was thoroughly impressed with this rental, would recommend it and stay again.

Great place to stay with families. Place is very well maintained. Very friendly and amazing host, took care of our late checkin. Stay is near to all locations and scenic drives. Definitely will visit again.

Our family loved this cabin. During our stay we explored Custer, Rushmore and Wind cave. We intended on renting a paddle boat on the lake but ran out of time. Very nice that each room had a box fan already in there. Our kids wants to come again next year

So glad we chose to stay here. It was great to get away from the bustle of the rally, but still meet fellow rally-goers. I thought we would have wanted to be all up in the action of the rally, but this was actually perfect to get away without being far away. Rapid is a very big town with everything we needed and centrally located to all ride routes and highways. The staff here were wonderful and the guests were respectful and very fun.

This was the perfect place for my family of 4 to stay as we enjoyed all that Black Hills had to offer. 10-15 minute drive from most of the attractions we planned to visit and the fact that its on a lake really made the decision to book it easy. Its a big lake with lots of docks and run off ponds all around it, with playground areas. Honestly even better than the photos show! The cabin was clean and well stocked, it had everything we needed and felt private even though there were occupants all around us. We only visited the office to get our keys but the process was quick and easy. Awesome that we had a picnic table and grill at our cabin as well. I am already telling all my friends they should stay here and that we should all take our families back and rent cabins together. Would be an ideal place for a family reunion. Thank you Lake Park Campground & Cabins!

The cabin was the perfect spot for my friends and I.
We loved the location of the cabins, it didn’t take us long to go anywhere where we wanted. We thought the the cabin was very clean and loved that it had enough space for all of us. We enjoyed walking around the lake and playing horseshoes. The dishes were really convenient to have since we cooked every meal.
We all loved the trip so much, we are talking about planning another stay sometime soon!

Simple but nice cabin for our family of 4. Kitchen was well stocked and loved that every cabin has its own gas grill. Kids loved the playground and watching the deer right out our window. Good location for exploring the area.

Quaint and CLEAN! Super location
If you’re looking for a cowboy quaint place with comfortable beds, helpful staff, great location and clean then this is the place for you. The kitchen is small but well equipped. Staff provides extras if you need th.em. Bathroom has plenty of linens and shelving for your bathroom items. Shower is a tad small but works well. Bring your own paper towels and Kleenex. We found this a frat place to stay. A great gas grill, chairs and picnic table is right outside your door. Covered parking in our unit 8. We’ll be back.

Excellent location and very quiet
The cottage is in an excellent location near a stream and lake. A short walking trail is nearby. The complex is very quiet, and everyone was very friendly.
The cottage is clean and comfortable. Although we knew there was no table, it would be nice to at least have TV trays or a card table to use.
Overall, we would definitely stay again!

Cottages were clean. Kitchen was well stocked with the necessities as well as the bathroom and extra blankets and pillows were available. Nice friendly staff.

We were also enough on the edge of town to get a good start to all of the places we wanted to visit (Crazy Horse, Rushmore, Custer St Park, Hill City, Keystone, Reptile Gardens). A peaceful lake near by for a relaxing walk or paddle boat trip. The cabin itself was just what we needed. Two bedrooms and a futon were just enough space for all of us to relax at the end of the day. The kitchenette let us bring home leftovers and actually eat them, prepare snacks, and start an early day with coffee and oatmeal or toast. Tips: The kitchenette had cups and plates, but no silverware (so bring some). The window air conditioner keeps the place cool if you use your fans. Would recommend to friends.

I really enjoyed renting this property. It was easy to find, the check-in process was clearly communicated, and felt very roomy. Bonus points for having a hot tub!
