При длительной стыковке в Шанхае, отель находится очень удобно: близко от Пудонга, и в районе с развитой торговой инфраструктурой. Сам отель, является частью торгово-рвзвлекательного центра, и вокруг него скопление магазинов, кафе, уличной еды, аптек, массажных салонов и т.д.
Это важно где находится отель, потому что бывают варианты, когда всё устраивает внутри, но поесть или что-то купить, надо ехать в другой район. Здесь всё "под боком".
Внутри номера отеля, тоже коснулась рука дизайнера, выполнен хороший ремонт и наполнение. Мы брали номер с большой кроватью, ну так это аж 240 см ширины!
Трансфер очень удобно приходит персонально за вами, когда получите багаж, и сообщите в отель. Мы для этого пользовались чатом с переводчиком в WeChat.
У них свой минивэн, и он постоянно курсирует между отелем и аэропортом.
Для посещения Диснейленда, место тоже должно быть удобным, но из-за жары +40, и то что мы там были 4 месяца назад, мы туда не поехали.
Кстати спасибо за раннее заселение в 11:30 минут. И к нашему приезду из аэропорта, в номере уже включили кондиционер, который охладил воздух.
Так и не поняли, работает ли холодильник: свет при открывание двери загорается, но напитки за день, только что не нагрелись...
Кондиционер, тоже слабоват.

the Moonlo Hotel is close to the Pudong International Airport. it provides pre arranged free airport shuttles. we were most impressed by its elegant interior setting; private gardens; art decos; delicious free breakfast buffet with delicate 5 year old white tea; local dishes with fresh ingredients; several choices of hot noodles and its famous wontons; comfortable bed and bedding; traditional tea set in room; powerful water pressure for shower; clean bathroom; eco-friendly products including unbleached toilet paper!! its English speaking staff are very professional, helpful and attentive. its location is convenient and is within 3 minute walking distances to many restaurants. we will return. highly recommend.

Kamer was groot genoeg voor gezin met 3 kinderen. Leuk met een bovenverdieping voor de kinderen. Alles schoon en dicht bij vliegveld. Ook gratis transfer van vliegveld. Dicht bij vliegveld.
Kamer was heel gehorig, maar gelukkig waren we heel moe en geen last van gehad. Je kon de buren echt heel goed horen. Transfer was niet beschikbaar vroeg in de ochtend. En moesten een taxi bestellen. Door onze vroege vlucht ook geen ontbijt beschikbaar. Afstand tot stad vrij ver, maar dat wisten we al.

kind of close to the PVG airport Shanghai, around 4 miles away. The location is in a local shopping strip mall area, so it is not in a great area that you might think "fancy". Overall, the hotel is clean and so does the room and common areas. The hotel lobby looks kind of crappy with a few tea tables and chest map on it where local people may play the chest, but no standardized acceptance as a 4 stars hotel, and they charge you with 4 stars hotel price. The breakfast is good in general feeling.
I found some long hairs and short body hairs on the bedsheet under the blankets and I showed them to the front desk people. They are even surprised to see them. And the pillows and blankets smell other people's oily body smells! No Kidding!!!

The staff was really really nice and helpful. Mr Ye served us well beyond expectation. He even accommodated our schedule to be back from Disneyland and made a special trip just for us to pick us up himself while the driver was not on duty. Very impressed. 10 out of 10! One of the receptionists also helped us order food online with his own account because we didn't have the app installed. Just forgot to ask his name. The owner is very kind. Chatted with us while having breakfast. Very attended.
The outside environment is a bit disappointing. Some renovation going on plus feels quite remote.

말도 안되는 것이 방에서 쉬고 있는데 다른 사람이 방 카드를 입력하여 밤에 휴식을 취하던 중 들어왔습니다. 원인으로는 저의 투숙 사실을 자신들의 시스템에 등록을 하지 않아 시스템상으로는 빈 방으로 나와 있었고 호텔 측에서 시스템에 저에 대한 투숙 사실이 없었기 때문에 다른 사람을 제가 머물고 있는 방에 머물게 하였음. 처음에는 신사적으로 이런 서비스에 대해 어떤식으로 해결을 할 지 다음날 체크아웃까지 알려달라고 했는데, 체크아웃시 호텔 책임자급이 되는 사람들이 이건 내 잘못이 아닌 어제 저녁 일하던 사람들의 잘못이라고 그들이 해결할 문제라고 아무런 보상조자 받지 못함. 게다가 그 분들은 제 연락처도 알지 못하는데 어떻게 연락을 할 지 모르겠습니다. 형편없음을 넘어 들어보지도 못 한 이런 실수에 대해 참으로 어이가 없고 현재까지 보상에 대한 아무런 대응이 없으며 완전 사기꾼에게 속았다는 생각이 듭니다.

Das Hotel hat sehr schöne, neu renovierte, saubere Zimmer. Auch das Cave Themenzimmer war sehr nett eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es gibt vom Hotel einen kostenlosen Shuttle an den Flughafen.
Die Zimmer waren bei Ankunft sehr kalt - 10°C Raumtemperatur im Januar ist einfach viel zu wenig! Die Heizung lief die ganze Nacht, trotzdem war der Raum am nächsten Morgen erst bei einer Raumtemperatur von 18°C.
Das Hotel war schwer zu finden, da es sich direkt in/bei einer Mall befindet, daher war es nachts auch sehr laut, Es gibt rund um das Hotel etliche chinesische Restaurants, bitte daran denken, dass in China nicht mit Mastercard bezahlt werden kann. Das Hotel Restaurant ist nur für das typisch chinesische Frühstück, Abendessen gibt es dort nicht.

Because if flight delays, we arrived in Shanghai at almost 2am. Moonlo hotel was extremely accommodating. They gave us a great first impression of Shanghai. Their breakfast buffet was delicious, the rooms were spacious, clean, and just beautiful. Great for taking photos! Thanks to our shuttle driver Mr. Li for sending us to the train station in the morning. It would’ve been such a hassle and he saved us a lot of time. He gave us directions and even pointed out things to look out for, not to mention they have free shuttle to Disney as well. We felt such a warm welcome as if we went home to family. 10/10 recommended. We’d definitely come back to visit next time we’re in Shanghai. Thanks Moonlo!

Fantastic hotel located in a very local district, abt 15 mins by car fr Pudong airport. Perfect for stopover before/after flight, visit Disneyland or Florentia Village outlets for shopping.
Staff is amazing, good spread of breakfast with made-to-order noodles & dumpling station. Variety of restaurants within 2-3 mins (including a Starbucks), and local Chinese supermarket just 2 mins walk besides the hotel.
Highly recommended, will certainly stay here again for my next visit.

I was looking for a place to stay near PVG airport and found this place on Booking. There is free shuttle service to and from PVG which I find extremely useful. It has always been a pain for me to find a decent place to in Shanghai landing and flying from PVG within 24 hrs, but this place seems the perfect solution. Met the owner at breakfast who is absolutely lovely. Food was freshly prepared and delicious. All staff members including the shuttle driver are so friendly and genuine, I felt safe and in good hands while staying with them. The hotel itself is also brilliant, the high ceiling design is such a rare find in Shanghai imo.
The air-con in my room was slightly loud but it was fine once I fall asleep.

Very cold inside the room, it took 10 hs to rise the temperature from +15 to +20. Weak hot water pressure, no bathrobes. The first room I was given had to be changed because it was smoky, although it was called a non-smoking room. The hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner, restaurants nearby do not accept cards

Hotel gestito da ragazzi, molto gentili. Reception h24. Lo shuttle bus per l'aeroporto inizia il servizio alle 7:00 ma i ragazzi prenotato il taxi per chi avesse bisogno di andare prima (50¥).

Huge and beautiful room with high ceilings and a nice patio outside. Nicest place I've stayed in China. Staff was amazing, provided free airport pickup and drop off in addition to driving me to Disneyland and picking me up at the end of the day, also for free. If you want to be near the airport or Disneyland this is a great choice.
It's a hike to get to public transportation to get into the city center, you're better off taking a taxi. Staff has limited English but is quick to use translation apps, and you can easily use WeChat with them as well.

It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful facilities and staff.
The reception lady Ling Ling was very nice and offered us late check out due to our flight times. Rooms were large and gorgeous. Breakfast was included with the owner Ms Yang personally taking care of guests. Outstanding service with a smile. Lots of food and convenience stores around plus Starbucks and Burger King. Free airport transfers. We as a family wouldn’t hesitate to stay here next time in Shanghai.

Their service was great! The staff are welcoming and friendly. The room deco has a unique cozy vibe . Me and my pup enjoyed the little private rooftop garden. The cherry on top is the breakfast. The free breakfast had lots of varieties and they are all super tasty!

We were only in the hotel for one night and chose it because it’s near Shanghai Airport. The location, the property and the staff were all exceptional. The welcome was warm, the rooms light, airy, clean and very well appointed. There’s a “quirky” (good) feel about the hotel with a lot of books and knick-knacks all around it. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it to anyone looking for a hotel for any purpose in Shanghai. Reception will organise a cab for you to go into the the main shopping/restaurant/visitor centre of Shanghai. The fare is about 130 Yuen. There is a free airport shuttle bus.

We couldn’t sleep all night long because there was noise of people running, screaming down the hall and doors shutting very loudly with alarms ringing.
Very uncivilized behaviour of guests close to our room. It would have been nice to have had staff intervention.

I booked a room to rest for the night during a layover, but when I arrived at the hotel I realized that I forgot my passport at the airport. Xiaoye, the guy at the reception, totally saved the situation: he called the airport lost&found office (they only speak Chinese), took me back to the airport with his own personal car, escorted me to the office, talked with the officers and took me back to the hotel. I can’t thank him enough.

I am not a big fan of a rustic style. The hotel was good enough to stay overnight in a proximity of the airport but I would not spend vacation there. Close to a supermarket and restaurants including Burger King. Shuttle service to the airport very convenient.
Raw cement surfaces in the bathrooms may have looked fancy while new but they do not age well. Rustic style is not for me either. Overpriced.

We noticed all the staff had a genuine desire to help make our stay great. It never felt like they were only helping because it was requirement of their job.

Comfy beds, very clean. There is an assortment of shops (mini-marts, restaurants, western fast-food) within a 2-minute walk that should meet the needs of most travelers.
Perfect for couples or families who want a nice place to stay near Shanghai Pudong Airport, or Disneyland.
A stark-contrast to the impersonal and slow service we received from the large (expensive) international hotel-chain we stayed out after checking-out of Moonlo. This made us realize just how good Moonlo was...
As such, we booked Moonlo again to be close to Pudong Airport the night before we flew out of China. Will definitely book again.

Xiaoye was the most amazing host. He was so welcoming and took very good care of us. We were late arriving to hotel so he organised a beautiful takeaway dinner & drinks for us. Thank you Xiaoye, you made our stay so great! We will be back
