Quiet position, close to the beach, cafes and walks. Large clean house with lots of different areas to relax, inside and out. A nice dip pool and comfortable beds. Close to the beach, cafes and walks.

Great host with easy check in process. House had loads of room and in a great location. Unfortunately the weather was hot and still and with no air conditioning the bedrooms were quite uncomfortable during the day.

Great area and having the pool was excellent. The only downfall was the lighting outside with the table and chairs. We had dinner out there at night but there was no lighting, but other than that it was great

Easy booking process, close to the beach & shops, we spent a lot of time in the pool too. The house was spotless & so many little extra items like shampoo etc were supplied which was a surprise. We would definitely stay here again & the owners were very helpful, thank you very much.

The property is a wonderful home for a large group with a couple of great spaces for family to gather. The kitchen was spacious and very well appointed, although a coffee machine would be a good addition. The pool area was nice although not ideal for toddlers as it’s quite deep. A great location with the beach close by and some cafes in walking distance. Unfortunately our stay was spoiled by the lack of air conditioning and while the flimsy nylon curtains were little help in keeping the bedrooms cool, some window downstairs had no curtains. The weather was very hot during our stay and unfortunately the extreme heat in the bedrooms upstairs made sleeping difficult. (The overhead fans were on non-stop but didn’t make a lot of difference). Air conditioning would make this property a perfect place to stay all year round.

Had a great weekend away with family celebrating my mum’s 60th. The house was super roomie, plenty of beds upstairs to accommodate all our guests, and loved that the rooms spread out. Perfect little plunge pool to cool off, and the outside entertainment area was great for a quiet drink in the late afternoon. Upstairs room were pretty hot, no aircon and the fans didn’t really go above a moderate speed. In saying this, we did visit the property in January and this is generally a really hot time. Downstairs lounge was lovely throughout the whole day. Overall the property is great, centrally located to great little shops, short walk to the beach and a nice little quiet street. Had a great time at this property.

Great time for family and friends. Walk to shops and beach. Plenty of room for large family/two families. Pool offered nice way to cool down after fishing and walk back from beach. Look forward to staying again.

The house was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. It is about a 5 minute walk to Dicky Beach and restaurants. We loved how spacious the house was and the pool tucked away in the back corner was fantastic. We would definitely stay there again.

This property worked very well for our adult family members. Younger family members are very well catered for too with high chair, toys, games etc

Thanks Susan. This was the perfect place to stay for our extended family getaway. The house itself is spacious, very clean and well appointed. The pool and yard was also very well used and enjoyed. Everyone commented on how much they loved the beds. One other thing we loved was the small touches that we loved, like spare hats and sunscreen. While we didn’t need them, it was lovely that the hosts had been so thoughtful of the needs of there guests. Completely recommend. Michelle

It was great to have a property that easily accommodated children and grandkids....very relaxing, close to the beach ( the grandkids had a ball). Would recommend it .

The beach and lagoon being at the end of the street was an added bonus.

This was our first family holiday in years. Beautiful family home with older children. Close walk to Dicky Beach, pool area was a favourite even in the rain. Owners were quick to reply to any problems that arose and were very helpful. We had a lovely time away even though it rained.

Great location, amenities..loved our weekend away!

Such a great spot. A short walk to shops and beach or river. We had 7 adults and one teenager sleeping at this house with two other adults staying elsewhere but eating main meals with us. This home accommodated us well with most things. We had planned a BBQ on the first night but there was no way the BBQ supplied (small ziggy) would do the job and we really needed a flat plate also, so we ended up cooking on all three frypans instead as we had 10 people to feed. A larger BBQ is really needed for this big home. The dining room table with four chairs was no where big enough for our group and we had to add on our own trestle table and chairs from outside to fit everyone. For a house that sleeps 9 people it should also seat 9 people. The showers had terrible water pressure. I understand the need to save water and owners probably have restrictors on the pressure but you couldn't call it a shower, not pleasant at all. This home is very spacious with an amazing main bedroom and ensuite and lots of living areas. The owner was very nice and happy to give us an earlier check in and later check out which was very much appreciated. All in all a comfortable stay but a few changes required for such a large home, I feel a little over priced.

A nice property in a good location.

Perfectly situated just a short walk to the very pretty beaches and lovely cafes. Lovely quiet area and just perfect for a family getaway. A very homely and cosy feel.
