A great little property with everything you need. Clean and tidy and well presented. Only a couple of things were not 100% - this being not all stove elements worked, also the sleep-out door would not lock from inside but would happily stay again. Thanks!

We had a good time here, lots of outdoor furniture for fine weather. Hosts are great to deal with with quick responses to communications.

Lovely place to stay. Very homely with extras like a suitable number of kitchen utensils and plates etc. Great shower! Good vareity of pillows. Loved the location.

A wonderful place to be neighbour were great and not one person dud not speak. All were talkative. An the bach was just spot on and relaxing.

Really appreciate the opportunity to rent this bach.... thanks owners! Excellent communication with owners prior to our getaway. Very pleased that the house was very clean. It's quite small, so we had to stash our food bags on the floor of the lounge. Perfect position to walk to the jetty, to fish off the rocks and to do the peninsula walk. Loved our time there.

Nice little batch.

The Bach had everything we needed and the location is great. We thought it was best for a family with two adults maximum as most adults wouldn’t want to sleep in the sleep out. We had three adults and used the sofa bed In the cottage but thought it wasn't the most comfortable.

Convenient location for nearby beach and not too far to walk into town.

Second time staying at this lovely we Bach.And yes we will return again.Has everything you need. We'll almost? A fan would of made a more comfy stay.The temperature was off the charts at 34-36 degrees+ nowhere to hide..But we still enjoyed our stay.And will be back.Thanks alot for sharing your space.

Lovely little spot, authentically 'bachy' but with a comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower! So nice sitting in the sun in the afternoon/evenings on the verandah and being able to walk a couple of minutes to the ocean and watch the sunset. Loved the birds in the Pohutukawa too.

The location was great - so near the sea and Peninsula walkway. Although very small, had everything we needed. Thanks for sharing your holiday home - we had an awesome time.

We had the best time over labour weekend.The weather played ball and the Bach did not disappoint.Bed was Super comfy,place was clean and we'll equipped. The owners were fantastic commicaters and we were very appreciative of support they gave. Absolutely be returning again soon.We didn't use the sleepout,but what a great addition for extra guests.Fishing,diving , paradise. Thanks once again Heather and Mark. This is a great little bach in a great location. Close to everything - coast, mountains, shops, etc - yet far enough away to still be away from it all. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Heather and Mark's. It was perfect for our needs--two young children--allowing for frequent walks to a playground, the South Bay wharf, and the beach, which were only a few minutes walk away. The wharf where Whale Watch Kaikoura launches from is only a couple of minutes walk away, and we were able to walk home from the launch without having to go back into town (be sure to call Whale Watch Kaikoura ahead of time to let them know these are your plans!). There was a fence to the driveway that allowed us to bound off the road and the let the kids run around without worrying. The tree swing and basket of toys were a lovely surprise that the kids appreciated. The property was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. The BBQ was ready to go and easy to use. Heather and Mark were great communicators and their instructions for accessing the property and places to visit in the area were very clear. We will definitely try to stay here again if we make it back to Kaikoura.
