The most amazing thing about Catalina’s Inn was the personnel. They made us feel like home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was included and it was homemade pancakes and coffee in a beautiful rooftop. They own a tuc-tuc and we basically made all our commuting with them with a very fair price. They took us everywhere we wanted and waited for us to see all the tourist attractions. This place is located 7 minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in Bohol (White Beach). We are 3 young traveler girls and we can tell that we felt very safe and welcome in Catalina’s. The price is the best thing you can find. It is the definition of good value for money. You won’t regret staying in Bohol with them.

We have found some insects in the building, but we believe that is something normal taking into account where it is located. Nothing to complain taking into account what we paid.

If looking for a budget hotel with the friendliest, most accommodating people with good access to Alona (party) Beach and Dumaluan (pretty) Beach, definitely try Catalina's Inn. Their location is very convenient: along the highway which means easy access to transportation that will take you to and from Alona Beach (150php per tricycle ride, not per person) but still just 10 minutes leisurely walk away from the pretty, white sandy Dumaluan beach which shares the same coastline as BBC (they're literally right next to each other). They have a 24hr sari-sari (convenience) store where u can buy your midnight snack needs. There are at least 3 restos within a 5 minute walk from the place. ATM is less than a minute walk away. They are 5 mins away from the airport and we experienced no traffic whatsoever when they offered to bring us to the airport for free. They offer free round trip hotel-airport (Bohol Panglao International Airport) / hotel-seaport (Tagbilaran seaport) transfer. The manager, Kuya Boyet, is very friendly and welcoming. He was able to accommodate our request for an island hopping private boat tour despite the fact that we were able to confirm only by 11pm the night before. Even though he had an early and busy day the next day, he spent time with us til around 2am exchanging stories. Ate Maritess, Marcelina, and Gerami were also very nice and aimed to please. When we had requests (towels, toiletries, extension cord, etc), they made sure we got them immediately or were waiting for us when we got back from our day out. They served our breakfast always with a smile and made sure to ask us what we wanted before serving them. Breakfast is the typical simple pinoy breakfast (with the daily option to have pancakes instead). For our 3 breakfasts, we got to try 2pc longganisa, 2pc ham, and 2pc hotdog. They always came with fried eggs, rice, coffee/tea.

Breakfast was amazing. Owners nice and helpful, we rented our motorbike from them, asked for laundry. Location is good, there is little store in the same yard so no need to go far for snacks. Even though we had some problems when arriving, owners found a solution :)
