A propos de ce appartementrental
Palazzo Notarbartolo an extraordinary charming house in the heart of Venice

What a wonderful place! Beautiful, comfortable and great location! Our host Andrea was so wonderful and helpful. He told us the best place for pizza and what to order. He was not wrong!! It was delicious!

We had a fantastic three-day stay at this VRBO property in Venice. The two rooms were spacious, and the living and dining room were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The location is central, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything Venice has to offer. A special thanks to Andrea, the house manager, who was incredibly helpful and informative throughout our stay. We truly appreciated the hospitality and highly recommend this property for anyone looking to experience Venice comfortably!"

We loved this beautiful apartment. We had a comfortable stay (helped by the air-conditioning as it was hot weather), felt very at home, and wished we had booked for longer. The palazzo apartment is in a quiet area in the heart of Venice. Both the owner, and the host Andrea who met us, gave us all the information we needed and Andrea gave us extra help when we needed it. We hope to return another year, and will recommend it to our friends.

Great location, charming stay - as beautiful as the pictures in the listing! The instructions beforehand were much appreciated and contained lots of information. We loved our stay and certainly would stay again!

This was a great place for our family of 4. We loved how close it was to everything. Since we traveled with just backpacks we were even able to walk to the train station our last day. There’s a grocery store steps away. It was very quiet and relaxing.

Our family of five (children ages 11,15,18) thoroughly enjoyed this lovely apartment. Great communication from property owner who provided many maps and detailed instructions on checkin requirements and process well in advance, as well as tips for our stay. The apartment is well located with a lovely garden and lots of character (dates back to 1300’s!). Very clean and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. Definitely recommend.

Very well situated near major landmarks and waterways. We are a family of 6 with 3 kids aged 13, 9 and 8 and an older senior aged 80. Pros: good restaurant recommendations, walkable to major tourist sites such as St. Mark’s Plaza, lots of space for 6, washer and dryer, elevator, good enough AC by European standards, neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. Cons: 1. the dryer takes a long time to dry and it’s not intuitive. I recommend that the owner leave instructions in English and Italian for how to use the machine. 2. Needs more instructions for how to get the Internet working. To get the Internet working the first time, you may have to press the button marked “Wireless- LAN.” This was off but once we turned it on it worked. 3. The garden shown in photos is just the entryway. You can’t really sit there. 4. Under the beds and in the closets it was dusty and the blankets in the closets need a wash. Kids thought the sheets were scratchy. 5. I appreciate it when a VRBO provides basics such as salt, shampoo, etc., even if they feel the need to charge more. This lodging had some of those things, such as salt and dish soap, but it would have been helpful to have even more supplies such as aluminum foil, Parmesan cheese, and a filtered water pitcher. It’s more environmentally friendly and less garbage. 6. Style: personally I recommend less decoration. Emptier = you can make it more your own space and it’s easier to find your stuff.

This is a fabulous property. The location is walking distance to all major tourist attractions in Venice while also tranquil and quiet. The home is well equipped, comfortable and very cool and stylish. The owner and property manager are both very helpful and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this for a stay in Venice - it was perfect for our trip

LOVED our stay in Venice. Couldn't have stayed in a cuter loft or a better location.

An authentic Venetian home with the most incredible garden. Feels like you are staying at the home of a relative as it has so much charm. The location is close to all the major sites. The only confusing part was that all the info was sent via a very informative email with directions to contact another person right away and also to remind them 4-5 days in advance. This was a bit tedious in the midst of traveling to numerous places. The contact person to message on Vrbo is the owner and not the person to contact for arrangements. So I had to dig through my email to find the info for the house keeper. It would have been easier if this could have all been done in the app. Regardless 5 star place that I would 100% recommend.

Nice, great location, personal meet and greet with Andrea who walked us to his recommended restaurant that served great pizza.

Our stay was great. Location was ideal for our family, including children and older adults. Kitchen and bathroom were very functional and well kept, and air conditioning worked well. The base of the staircase leading to the lower level is a bit slippery so would just recommend an extra rug or something to help with the landing there.

We appreciated the wonderful communication with the hostess and Mr Fusco. They were so welcoming and gave you great information before your stay. The apartment was centrally located and the grocery was steps away. So if you forgot something, not a problem to run back and pick it up. The apartment was very spacious and decorated nicely. The washer /dryer combination was really great to have access to while traveling.
We would definitely stay again!

This was an amazing property with a picturesque courtyard, in the absolute best location. We are a family of four and there was so much room for all of us and more. The separate lofts gave everyone their personal space. Excellent communication with the owner and property manager helped make this the perfect place to stay. A private boat dropped us off just steps away, which made it smooth in and out. The beauty of Venice awaits you!

We loved our apartment at Palazzo Notarbartolo. We were a couple and two singles traveling together, and the bedding was perfect for our group. The only thing we wished for was a map in the apartment marking the routes to St. Mark’s Square and another to the Rialto bridge.
We were instructed to take a water taxi to Campiello Santa Marina. This was just a short distance from the apartment with only one bridge in between. The manager met us there and escorted us to the apartment. When we departed, we took a water taxi to the airport. While the taxis are pricey, this was extremely convenient as the airport has docks that they pull right into the airport with luggage carts and a well-marked route to the terminal that is enclosed with even ground for moving luggage!

All was great.
Communication with the hosts was prompt.
Everything you need walking distance just a few min away.
I came by train and caught the Vaporetto on Lot E to Rialto and walked 8min to the location. Thats Rialto not Rialto Market.
Me and my kid stayed here for 3 days on our trip through Italy and Spain. Very little time was spent in the rental but it's great for people who do like to spend time in their rental.
The only down side was the slight sewage smell from the downstairs bathroom but this is a common thing in all of Italy and Spain unfortunately. Luckily theres a big window in that bathroom that can be opened for airing out.
Theres a grocery shop few feet from the front door which comes in handy.
All in all this place was pretty great.

We stayed for 3 nights and wish it had been longer in Venice. The city itself is spectacular and so easy and interesting to explore.
We all loved the apartment, contact with Giacinta was easy and Francesco was so helpful. We caught a water taxi from the train station and to the airport and was such a simple process. Francesco met us and showed us the apartment and how everything worked
Apartment is in a great position, Venice is such a walkable city ,getting to the major tourist sites takes no time and also able to explore less touristy areas. Getting a few streets from the tourist sites was so worthwhile.
My teens loved the property, the garden is beautiful and the set up made life so easy. Good wifi and comfortable.
Good kitchen, which we didn’t use as much as we planned as Venetian food too good to ignore.
Would happily stay here again.

This lovely place was the perfect arrangement for our stay in Venice. The two bedrooms gave us plenty of room to have personal space. The living room and dining room provided a space to relax each day after a busy time seeing the site. Andrea was the perfect host and was in touch from before the trip and during to make sure we had everything we needed and answer any questions we had. The location was away from the crowds and close to groceries, restaurants and personal water taxi. I would definitely stay here again!!!👍👍👍👍👍

From beginning to end our stay in Venice was excellent. Communication was seamless, and our arrival was so easy with Andrea meeting us where the water taxi landed. He gave us really great advice and helped by making our first dinner reservation. The location of our "home" was perfect for us. Not far away from anything, but a beautiful oasis that we loved coming back to. I would definitely stay here again.

Spent a wonderful two nights at this lovely and spacious home on a quiet yet perfectly located central street in Venice. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The entire procedure, from submitting request for dates to check out was seamless. Francesco was so very helpful in getting us to the apartment and giving us some local advice for restaurants and taxi service. The only downside was that the lovely garden was not open to us to sit and drink some wine or coffee, which was unfortunate as the garden was one of the reasons I chose the apartment. Will definitely stay there on my next trip to Venice.

The apartment is a true gem in the heart of Venice. We'd go back in a heartbeat and can't recommend it highly enough. The property manager, Andrea, was hugely helpful - even coming to meet us when we managed to get a little lost on the way from the station.
If you do book, be sure to ask Giacinta about her friend who does boat tours of the Venetian lagoon. We're so glad we took up this offer.

Andrea was extremely helpful during our 3 night stay. It was our first time in Europe let alone navigating Venice. He helped us to quickly navigate and assisted in a memorable gondola ride during the regatta with front row water access to the overwhelming event
Massimo also provided an excellent boat ride around Venice
The condo was private, comfortable and clean in a perfect quiet location with easy walking distance to all of Venice. Condo exactly as described.
Everyone was amazingly prompt in responding to any inquiry
Thank you for a most enjoyable intro to Venezia! Appreciate such a gracious host and manager!
