Breakfast was good and very helpful staff
Really poor quality of bed and small considering it was supposed to be a “deluxe room” it was quite a struggle to get it into bed at night between small gap and wall,furniture was cheap and nasty.parking really tight if you cannot reverse in you have to reverse out onto a main road if car park full.

Modern & fresh decor. Friendly staff, Room cleaned every day. Nice big shower.
Breakfast was limited if you pre-paid for it. No lift, only access to 1st & 2nd floor was by narrow stairs. No proper cupboards or drawers in room. Hanging rail & small desk with tiny drawers only in room. Very hot in room as windows opened only very slightly giving very little ventilation. Large circular fan provided only stirred the warm air around.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room temperature was an unbearable 29°C, and despite booking for two nights, I had to leave after the first night. When I reported the excessive heat and the fact that the window couldn’t be opened, the staff only offered another fan, which was ineffective. I was on the top floor, making the situation even worse. To top it off, they refused to refund me for the night I couldn’t stay. Overall, it was a dreadful experience.

It was in the centre of Newquay, a short walk to the beach and restaurants/bars
It was just a very underwhelming experience staying in this hotel. The staff who greeted us when we arrived weren’t helpful with regards to parking. We had seen that there was parking in the description, but did not see that it had to be reserved prior to arrival, and had to be paid daily. In addition to your room charge. It would have been good to have this option when booking the hotel initially, or a message prior to arrival offering this, but sadly not and we had to park in the train station. The rooms were very small, and felt quite dirty. There was mould on the ceiling, the showers were very very cramped, and it felt that the staff were occupied talking with friends, rather than attending to customers and making our stay more enjoyable. Just overall not somewhere we wanted to spend 2 nights, so we checked out and moved hotel after the first night.

My visit was to attend an event at Newquay Zoo and I was travelling by train. The hotel was short walk from the station and a only slightly longer, pleasant walk to the zoo. The hotel is attractive from the outside and inside is modern yet welcoming. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, allowing me to check in my luggage early morning.
The room was clean and comfortable and surprisingly spacious for a single room. Free wifi easy to connect to
My room was on the second floor so it was a bit of a climb with my suitcase as no lift.

I did not stay at this hotel as there was no car parking despite messaging to book. There were no car parks available within a mile of the hotel due to bank holiday

Location was handy. Rooms very clean. Staff carried our bags to our rooms, which was great given the staircases.
We found the food was average. There was no milk available for breakfast coffee/tea until a staff member went out to the shops for it. Some staff were too casual, chatting amongst themselves whilst we were eating etc. One room that we booked had a bed that was super low off the floor, making it uncomfortable. We were surprised that the deco was a little 70’s disco era in the main hotel as we were expecting more a casual beach vibe. But that’s a personal taste.

The location of the hotel was lovely.

We stayed a year ago and had the best experience ever, the room was huge, the bed was far away from the door and the window opened up fairly far.
However this time around our room was absolutely tiny, the bed was right next to door meaning we felt uncomfortable, the window didn’t open up properly and the curtains wouldn’t shut properly. Was throughly disappointed with our stay especially for £200

Good location. Used to live in Newquay and remember it as the old dilapidated surfers hostel; much improved these days which is good for the area!
Modern features, nice bar/restaurant area, staff member was pleasant. Rooms small but perfectly formed with all essentials….. Very reasonable out of season price. Would definitely stay again if in the local area again.

The staff had nothing on stock not even water! (the most basic). Absolutely horrible service. No one wanted to even try to provide anything. Pathetic service. Would never recommend this place to anyone and definitely would never go back there even if it was the last place open.

It is a lovely hotel in a great location by the seaside with excellent staff. I went there with a group of friends for Christmas, and we had a Sunday roast and Christmas dinner in the hotel restaurant, and the food was DELICIOUS. The tastiest food we have ever had in the UK (most of us have been here for 7-12 years)!! The breakfast is fantastic also! BIG THANK YOU to the CHEF for making such amazing dishes and to the restaurant manager EMMA and her team for delivering excellent service!
We highly recommend it! We will definitely go back!

The room was ideal for our stay. The bonus was having a sea view which was unexpected and it was ideally situated close to the town.

The hotel is in an excellent location just on the edge of the town. Close enough to walk in and out but far away enough from the night time hustle.
The hotel itself is bright and clean which instantly makes you happy. The staff are really attentive, nothing is too much trouble at all. Every member of staff you meet greets you with a cheery smile. Lovely view from the sea view rooms. 
The bed was very soft which unfortunately left us both with an uncomfortable night sleep. You’ll never please everyone!
Whilst the rooms are small, a mini fridge would have been beneficial as the rooms got quite warm!

Absolutely superb breakfast and staff were very friendly and helpful. I got an unexpected room upgrade. There was a fan in the room - without that it would have been sweltering. Good location near the beach and public transport but the town centre within just a few minutes' walk.
Nothing major at all - a light switch near the bed would have been handy. The first day I'd put a do not disturb sign on the door when I was out (personal preference) but a staff member went in anyway. I normally also tell reception but forgot.
Music in the restaurant at breakfast / seating areas was quite loud and fast pop type songs - not my personal preference.

The room was clean but very basic. Was very noisy as was facing the road. Had to carry very heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs as no lift.
