The Property was very clean and very nice

Very Good breakfast and very close to the airport Beautiful Views from the property, You can see the Cotopaxi volcano on a clear day.

Very clean, spacious rooms with excellent hosts. Close to the airport (which was.a primary factor for us) and they arranged transportation for a family of 5 adults to and from the airport for a very reasonable price. Free tea, coffee and fruit available all day. Nice common rooms for eating, relaxing or doing work. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reasonably priced lodging close to Quito airport.

I needed a relaxing and low-key way to end my trip and Las Hortensia's delivered. Didn't hurt I had the whole place to myself and the views were awesome. Great hospitality at the start, including the pick-up at the airport ($10 each way). Staff were awesome: thanks to Nicole for checking me in, Elizabeth for home-made meals and showing me around, and of course Nachito, the unofficial mascot haha. The location is within 10 minutes from the airport which was what I needed to be after so much transiting the last week, but still find a slice of nature and peace. Las Hortensia's also takes cc for payment so I ended up buying more items from their mini-store in addition to stay. Really enjoyed listening to your stories and I'm sorry my Spanish was limitado. Gracias por todo!

Not sure if this is really an issue for me because I made it work (tho has been mentioned in other reviews): lower water pressure for flushing and shower. I'm being really picky here but not a deal breaker.

Beautiful and clean place with very friendly and helpful staff! It's close to the airport if you want to have a convenient launch point.

beautiful grounds. peaceful even though close to busy area. the owner was so kind and cooked amazing breakfast. I hardly ever sleep well in new places and I got a great nights sleep here. cute animals all around. will definitely return!

Very beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming. The owner was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with lots of light. And the common area had lots of room and we were allowed to work there during the day. The kitchen was nice and big.

It's very close to the airport. Great breakfast, which was included.

We pre arranged airport transfer, but no one showed up. It would have been nice if they contacted me prior to let me know. I ended up arranging my own taxi to the hotel.

Our flight was delayed, and they were kind about messaging us back right away and getting us a taxi that evening at a time later than we all expected. Then having a ride ready for us again early the next morning.

Clean, friendly, nice breakfast. I arrived very late, after one in the morning, and someone was waiting with a sign for me at the airport, nevertheless, zand an easy ride back to the property. I was very relieved and happy.

The dinner was great! The room was very nice, and the bathroom, while small, was modern, clean, and had good water pressure. Staff was super helpful! There's even a pretty garden out front!

Like all Ecuadorian hotels, it was a little chilly because they don't have heat due to the year round temperate climate. They had extra blankets though, and I slept just fine.

Very nice and attentive staff. Clean rooms with good blanket. Perfect if you want to stay close to the airport.

The ares is not very exciting.

Nice, comfortable little place with super friendly owners in a safe area (I felt totally comfortable walking around the area as a single woman), beautiful view of the mountains..hot water, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast that accommodated my dietary restrictions. The airport pickup was nice as well, they were there waiting for me and were punctual bringing me back for an early flight (it's only a 10-minute drive). Definitely recommend! Much better than spending $100+ for a big chain hotel by the airport.

My only complaint was that the water in the shower didn't drain quickly but otherwise everything was perfect.

The bedrooms were very spacious and the common areas were beautifully lit and decorated. The food served for dinner and breakfast was delicious. And the owner was so friendly and accommodating.

We loved everything about the place. Can't complain.
