Cottage In Great Central Village Location. Country Walks Available.
Notre tout nouveau chalet écologique est construit au cœur du charmant village de Badby. Construit à un niveau très élevé, il utilise des finitions de matériaux naturels lorsque cela est possible. Il dispose de deux chambres avec couchage flexible (twin ou super king à la chambre principale), deux salles de bains, salon confortable, cuisine entièrement équipée et canapé-lit. La propriété bénéficie des toutes dernières technologies de chauffage avec un système de chauffage géothermique Hanson Formpave Themopave, ainsi que de l'eau chaude solaire et du chauffage au sol. À quelques pas de deux grands pubs de campagne qui servent de vraies bières et des plats cuisinés maison.
Il y a un parking hors route dans la cour privée ainsi qu'un parking supplémentaire dans le cul-de-sac extrêmement calme à l'extérieur du chalet.

A very enjoyable stay in the pretty and quiet village of Badby. The house was just as described and perfect for our needs. Good little playground and cafe and pub a short walk away. In a perfect world the curtains in the bedrooms would have blackout lining (for the summer sunrises) and the dishwasher would be replaced as the racks are shedding rust, but otherwise a fantastic stay.

As always, it was wonderful. The cottage is convenient and comfortable. It has everything need for an excellent stay. It's quiet and very clean. We even had a friend over for dinner. It had everything we needed for a great dinner.
Our thanks again to Val for all she does to make it a great holiday.

Well stocked with unexpected milk, coffee, washing up liquid, t-towels etc. That’s great as there’s always something one forgets and good for us on such a short stay.

I came here with my husband, our nearly 2 year old daughter and my husbands grandmother, to stay near my sister-in-law in Daventry. We were a 10 minute drive from them, and the cottage was perfect. It was accessible for our grandma, and there was a highchair for my daughter and a travel cot and plenty of room for the travel cot to be set up. Unfortunately there was really loud music on the first night, but we couldn't work out where this was coming from as the cottage is detached! This isn't the fault or problem of Val though, and luckily didn't wake our daughter. Hopefully just a one off as we couldn't hear it the next night.
We hope to stay again when we next visit family as it is perfect. Definitely recommend!

We are from the States and spent 6 nights in this lovely cottage. We chose this cottage because of the king size bed and it did not disappoint! The village is beautiful and the pub (within walking distance) has great food and atmosphere. We have family and friends in Northamptonshire and this location was perfect. The cottage had all the amenities of home. Val was amazing and responded to our questions within minutes.

Just what we needed
Such a lovely little cottage, finished to a really good quality - the photos do not do it justice! Communication with Valerie the owner was also fantastic - I was staying here the night before my wedding and my nerves ahead of time meant I had a few questions and Valerie always got back to me within a few minutes. Thank you!

Lovely stay
Listing is accurate of this property. It's in a quiet location, kitchen is equipped with the essentials - saucepans, frying pans, cooking utensils, crockery etc. The cottage is clean and comfortable. Check-in was and communication with the owner was easy and straightforward. Only slight thing was the WiFi was not great - with 2 kids YouTube is essential for some downtime for parents! Not a deal breaker as I would come back to stay again.

Charming and well appointed
We stayed at Val's for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Fawsley Hall. This was a fantastic location and the cottage is very charming and homely. The Windmill Inn is a great spot for food and is only a minutes walk away from the front door. Badby is a lovely village for a stroll. We would love to stay here again and explore a bit more of the area.

A wonderfully well equipped little cottage
A lovely welcoming and well equipped little cottage. The master bedroom has a large wardrobe space and there are two bathrooms, one of which has a shower. The living has a good quality sofa bed which my 14 year old daughter used for the duration of our stay without any issue whatsoever. The village of Badby is lovely with lots of stone built cottages and 2 great looking pubs and it is surrounded by countryside. We were unable to use the pubs as we were up for my Brothers wedding at nearby Dodmoor House which is only a 10 minute drive away so we were kept busy with lots of family gatherings in Weedon and surrounds.
We found the cottage to be a perfect base for our stay and was a much better option for us as a family than the nearby hotels. Overall a great place to stay that we were delighted with!!

WOW. This place is stunning. Extremely well appointed. Location is great with parking directly outside. Village is idealic and there is a great view of the fantastic church from Kitchen window. Shame no outside space to sit in the evenings in this lovely weather but they had even thought of providing fans to help with the heat and ice~packs in the freezer to use for picnics etc~Nothing in this place has not been thought about carefully. Stay was very comfortable~Shame we couldn't stay longer! Correspondence was quick and excellant. Overall a fantastic luxury break and will certainly be back if we are in the area. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Excellent property, clean and in a beautiful village.
Had a short stay in this property for a wedding we were invited too nearby. On entering this cottage is was immediately pleased with the look of things. Spacious, clean, comfortable with lovely linen and a well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend and the owner is very obliging and quick to respond once you've booked with any help or advice.

Cottage was very well equipped and nicely presented throughout.
Master bedroom was very comfortable. Did not use the double sofa bed but it too looked fine.
Would definitely recommend this property and would also use it again myself.
Two pubs in the village. The one furthest from the property was extremely accommodating with good beers and plenty of gin.

Excellent place to stay
This was our second stay here and have enjoyed both visits immensely. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable indeed, with all the facilities we could want. Rather than use the sofa bed, we have taken our inflatable bed for our second child which works better for us in the evenings. We have found everything to be well maintained and kept perfectly clean. The owner is very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond what we would expect to make us feel at home.
The location is excellent with many attractions within an hour's drive, including Blenheim and Stratford-upon-Avon. The immediate area is peaceful with a very nice pub around the corner and some good walks.
Would definitely recommend.

Location fantastic, quiet and peaceful
Cottage average however very hot and stuffy, bed very soft and uncomfortable, attempted to use the sofa bed in the lounge however was very old with thin mattress. Towels were replaced with fresh ones however old towels were left in the bathroom. Checked out several days earlier than planned due to severe heat which resulted in sleepless nights.
