The house was beautiful. Very comfortably slept 7 in a family group. Lovely location and a good base for exploring the local area. Luxurious house, well stocked with crockery etc. The hot tub was amazing. Helpful and friendly interaction with the owner who was very attentive via email providing any info we needed. Would highly recommed and worth the money!

The location of North Barkello is perfect for getting away from the busy town/city life, but still close enough. It has stunning views over the countryside and is in a very peaceful area. Communication with the host before, during and after was really good and they supplied us with everything we needed. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed a very relaxing 3 days.

Balkello Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. We had a lovely time and can't wait to return. Everything was perfect and the hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The cottage completely exceeded our expectations! Great location only 10/15 minute drive into Dundee. At the end of the cottage driveway there are great woodland/hill walks! The cottage is very spacious, the kids loved having their own lounge upstairs and the hot tub was a great hit! The kitchen (and utility room) has everything that you’d expect and more with all the modern gadgets! The only thing we felt was missing (and is very minor) was plastic cups for kids. The owner Eddie provides all the information you’d ever need, and is easily contacted should you have any problems. We would definitely love to visit again!
