We absolutely loved staying at the Tokyo Little House! It is small(ish) but perfectly equipped with real thought and attention to detail. Very comfortable (the double bed, especially, is super-comfy) with everything you need: simple but practical kitchen (rice cooker, microwave, hot plate, lovely dishes etc.), modern toilet and excellent shower. Also a washing machine which was a real bonus for this travelling family :-) A great bonus is that the charming and friendly owners have their office and attractive cafe downstairs - great if you have any questions, issues or would simply like interaction with people familiar to the area (and a great cup of coffee). Oh and the location is excellent - right in the middle of things, near 3 subway stations and within moments of numerous restaurants, bars, supermarkets and convenience stores. So 10/10 and highly recommended!

We liked everything about the Tokyo Little House! The only slight caveat is that is can be quite noisy late in the evening when the restaurants and bars empty - make use of the ear plugs provided (there's also a white noise machine). Also the steep staircase up to the apartment is a nice original feature... but not for everyone - those with mobility issues beware.

This beautiful renovation of a traditional midcentury house combines vintage aesthetics and modern amenity. Those who appreciate design and craft will be impressed with the attention to detail and the tasteful preservation of antique elements within a simple, elegant updating. The hosts are lovely: personable and most helpful. The local neighborhood offers much to explore and many Tokyo attractions are within easy reach. The family run hotel with cafe and the small gallery below is truly a unique find.
