design and staff
hanger in the room wasn’t fit strongly enough and it just fell when few jackets were on it.
there was also some problem with the sink as water was hold in it for few minutes

Big extra deposit up front to cover potential use of mini-bar/snacks/room service - £100 for a weekend on top of the room. Very quick to charge for all snacks/mini-bar items even if you are a regular visitor.

From the staff, the services and the room. Our stay was excellent. They gave my mother a birthday cake on arrival and went above and beyond in everything.
The hotel is centeral to Stratford, everything was in walking distance.
Will definitely be back for another longer visit!

didn’t like that booking.com didn’t provide breakfast. my sister booked with another company, paid same price and received breakfast free. we had to pay £20 each. Won’t use booking.com again

The rooms are lovely and the corridors are nice and wide, which gives an extremely spacious feel to the hotel.
We couldn't hear any noise at all from other hotel residents
The staff are very friendly
The hotel is very easy to get to from the tube
A dish we ordered only had half of the ingredients! It was a beef ragu with tagliatelle and it was meant to have a sourdough crumb (with something else that I can't recall). However, it was just beef and tagliatelle when it arrived.
We were automatically charged 12.5% for every single thing that we ordered, including drinks at the bar and the buffet breakfast. (The buffet breakfast requires you to get your own tea and coffee so there is no table service at all)
The receipt for your stay (when you checkout) is very confusing and it is difficult to make sense of what you have been charged for.

Mixed opinions on staff..bar staff one day was impossible to get attention..however Zhivko in the restaurant went well beyond our expectations he was so kind to us

Breakfast choice not expected in a 5 star hotel and was cold
Lighting in bedroom was not brilliant for women especially
Sometimes modern touches aren't always the best!

Staff made our stay a nightmare, delayed check in (waited over 3 hours)noisy from day to night. the hotel is taking money from our accoun with no explanation
