We were pleasantly surprised on how close the Matunuck Oyster Bar actually was to the cottage. We walked over for dinner. The cottage was very clean and perfect for our relaxing stay. The owners were very quick and responsive with any questions we had. We would stay here again.

This was perfect for me: clean, a homey touch with lovely plants, a well-stocked kitchen for light cooking, and a restaurant nearby. I loved the sunset from the dock. The hosts were gracious and clear. I hope to return!

My girlfriends and I had such a fun weekend here! This super quaint cottage is clean and surprisingly spacious. It is steps from Matuntuck Oyster Bar and a short walk or bike ride to a beautiful state beach. The only drawback is that getting to the other side of town for more restaurants, bars and shopping is a bit of a drive (15 minutes or so). Even still, I would book again here in a heartbeat!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful week at the cottage. Perfect for the two of us!

We loved our stay at this charming, little cottage. It was next to a dock on the water with a lovely view. 2 small bedrooms were fine for us and our son. Walking distance to a pretty beach and steps away from an amazing restaurant. So much nicer than a hotel room! We'd stay again!

Great experience with the property and good communication from Kevin and Amy. Two excellent restaurants within easy walking distance and great fishing right off the docks.

what a great place. the beach is walkable (3 blocks or so). outdoor shower at cottage is nice!!! The oyster bar across the canal is always busy, but never too noisy. If you plan to go, get a reservation in early. We had issues with getting the TV onto Roku (we are technologically challenged) when we first got there. Need to have a checklist for leaving there in the cottage. (if they sent it as part of an email, we couldn't get it opened on our phones.) 3 ring binder of local info was great to have, but needs updating.

We enjoyed our 4 day stay at this cottage. Great communication with owner regarding access. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. There also was a binder with restaurant recommendations and activities. Despite the rain and clouds for half our stay, we enjoyed exploring the area from Narragansett to Watch Hill. We had a fabulous dinner at the Matunuck Oyster Bar across the way and highly recommend making reservations well in advance. We enjoyed a beach day once better weather arrived. We look forward to returning.

The cottage itself was comfortable and well appointed. Location was just perfect! Waterfront on inlet from Narragansett Bay to Potter’s Pond. Proximity to local and state beaches, walking distance to 2 restaurants, close to Route 1 for easy access to local flavor of surrounding towns. An added bonus- incredible sunsets nightly! Would definitely book again. Owners were very communicative and accommodating.

Absolutely love this spot. The cottage is adorable and very comfortable with all of the necessities - great AC, wifi, etc. and the perfect location. Can swim and kayak right on Potters pond or take a short walk to the beach. A few great restaurants also within walking distance. Will be back!

The cottage is very clean and comfortable. It's a short walk to the beach, and we really liked having Cap'n Jack's Restaurant and the Oyster Bar nearby. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and watching the boats go by from the dock. The area is great and the people are so friendly. Would highly recommend renting this cottage!

We loved the cottage and the location! The cottage was the perfect size for us, 2 adults, one kid. It was very comfortable. Loved being on the dock, looking at crabs, fish, and great egrets. We even swam in it! Beaches are so close by. The Matunuck Oyster Bar across the way is awesome. The hosts were wonderful-quick to respond and answer all our questions! Thank you much for a very memorable stay that made us fall in love with Rhode Island!!

Cabin was clean and stocked with essentials! Convenient location! We loved the dock and access to the ocean.

We had an awesome vacation at this wonderful summer cottage. Owners were fabulous and very accommodating, neighborhood was charming and everyone was friendly and respectful. Kept our boat at the marina right across the street and walked to one of our favorite restaurants way too many times for take out! Cottage was very clean, beds were comfy and had icy cold AC that we rarely needed because of the refreshing sea breeze that blows through the windows. Thank you Kevin & Amy for sharing this spot!

My husband and I were looking for a week's getaway, and felt very lucky to have found Kevin and Amy's cottage in South Kingston. Sitting with a cup of coffee on the dock and watching the tide flow in and out, watching the water birds over the marsh, and watching the happy foot traffic over the nearby bridge and across the water at the Matunuck Oyster Bar was great. We're in our sixties, and found the short walk to East Matunuck State Beach easy to manage - even with chairs and umbrellas, etc. We did a lot of exploring on foot: we walked down to Jerusalem for lunch at the marina, and over to Snug Harbor for breakfast. It was a very short drive to catch the ferry over to Block Island, where we spent a day riding bikes. Again and again we remarked that we could not have found a happier place to stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable, with good beds and a great outdoor shower. We stayed the last week of June 2020, while concerns for the coronavirus were still looming large - and were able to enjoy a very fun and safe vacation. We were able to walk to several restaurants, and to dine outside or take out at all of them (Ocean Mist, Matunuck Oyster Bar, Cap'n Jack's, Jim's Dock, Snug Harbor Marina). Being able to walk to the beach saved us the $14 parking fee everyday, and the trouble of driving. Highly recommend this place and the hosts, who were very kind, welcoming, and responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint beach cottage. Everything we needed was already there. We were close to the beach, sunsets and easy access to explore the area. Being a retired couple, we didn't think we get even more relaxed! The owner's were quick to respond to any questions we had.

Our family loved being on the water. Watching the boats go by, feeling the gentle breeze, Walk to the nearby beach and restaurants is a big plus or just grilling your own dinners and steaming lobsters and clams that you dug yourself was amazing! Will definitely come back as all the people we met were so friendly. It was a nice place to unplug and relax.

The cottage and private community was great. Cottage was neat and tidy. However could use a proper lock for the bathroom door and the inside shower leaves a lot to be desired, (which is the reason for 4 stars). Out door shower is great! The large dock on the channel was a blast for our kids to watch the sea life. The restaurant across the channel offered endless people watching. The walk to the beach was not bad, but suggest buying a season pass if you stay a for a week and plan on beaching every day, that way unless the parking lot is full you can come and go as you please. Overall our stay was fantastic; lots to do regardless of the weather. All the people we met in the Potter’s Pond community were splendid. We will be back!

We've been to different parts of Rhode Island over the years. By far South Kingston, one our our favorites. It's Peaceful & less crowded. The surrounding areas - Wakefield, Narragansett - great restaurants & shops. From the moment we walked in the cottage, I knew we were going to love it!! It has everything you need. The grill outside awesome- We actually had bacon cheeseburgers for breakfast two mornings .. One of the neighbors thought it was a great idea 😄� From the beginning, till we left- Communication w/ Kevin was great. Any question I had, he responded quickly & gave us info about the fishing, clamming- As well as details about beaches, things to do & places to eat. Thank-you Kevin, Amy & the girls, for sharing your little slice of Heaven with us !! We definitely want to come back !!

All you need for a great vacation is right here! Kids catching crabs off the dock , clamming nearby and several good restaurants in walking or biking distance. Owners were great and very welcoming. Short walk to beach.

Nicely furnished cottage, very comfortable. We were able to walk to the beach, kayaked and caught fish. Lots of exploring to do in area.
