It was spacious and had everything we needed

Great value for the location. The room has seen better days as is the case with most London hotels but the staff is very amenable and service was really great. Location is perfect for a short stay in London.

Room was extremely hot even with window open and fan on (which was really dirty and dusty) still far too hot to get a good night sleep. Room was not cleaned the full time we stayed. Only 2 small towels for 2 ppl for the entire stay?? Never given clean ones.

The maintenance men were very nice

Sink was leaking throughout the whole stay. Staff were saying there is nothing they can do. floor was flooded every morning and staff didnt even give us towels to dry it up until it started leaking through the floor. Maintenance men were lovely and explained that they are sorry about not being heard before.

my room had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke which was unpleasant property needs repainting, looks like it’s seen better days.

The toilet was out of order on my floor so I had to either go up a flight or down a flight of stairs, apart from that every was good.

Absolutely amazing location and the best friendly staff for sure couldn't help you any more if they tried. Was great being only a 5 minute walk from Kings Cross and great being able to leave luggage on both days too. Other that my other comment if was clean, comfortable, big enough for what we needed for 1 night for myself and my 5 year old and was warm at night once I turned on the radiator.

Only little thing could do with a lick of paint on the windowsill and few other little areas nothing major.

The staff were really friendly and the rooms were clean. Great location too!

great value for location near a major subway/underground station convenient for both Eurostar and local commute. hosts were very accommodating and helpful, they held our bags before check in and made some good recommendations where to visit and eat

room is a little small for 5 people but we made it work and we paid a good price for a high season

Basement vibe, moldy. Disgusting smell of citrus freshener. Glad we didn’t stay more than 2 nights in this room.

when we complained how awful it was in our original superior room we were quickly moved to the Melville hotel room next door; this was old but far better. staff were very pleasant.

the KX room was small cramped and damp. the smell hit you as you entered the block and in the actual room the carpet was sopping wet where they obviously had mould or a leak. there was no redeeming features and though moved the new room wasn’t great. more something of night,ares than Art Deco but they had tried.
