Notre deuxième maison est située à 100 pieds au-dessus de l’océan Pacifique, avec vue sur la montagne et deux trous de golf de 18 trous, Jack Nicklaus Kiele, maintenant appelé Hokuala, devant vous. Même la porte arrière offre une vue imprenable sur les lagunes de Kauai (38 acres) avec des jardins bien entretenus et des sentiers de randonnée isolés. Notre maison s'appelle «Pukalani», qui est hawaïenne pour «Heaven's Door». Outstanding view from this beautiful ocean front condo that is stocked with everything you need. We have been traveling to Kaua’i for twenty-seven years and this is by far the best place we have rented to date. We will come back again and again and again. The owners are amazing to work with and very thoughtful. We highly recommend this property.

We spend an amazing week at Pukalani! The condo was wonderful. When we were not exploring the island we were on the lanai, which has fabulous views and is a wonderful spot for enjoying your meals. Pukalani is a great location with many amenities near by. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

I hardly ever give 5 Stars, however Pukalani is that place!
We have been here several times and it feels like home.
We have breakfast, and any other meals, on the lanai.
We watch the sailboats and the cruise ships come in and out.
We had our usual rainbow meet us in the morning after a gentle rain. And joyous birds singing all around.
Since we both have bad knees now, it was fun critiquing the golfers, and comparing swings.
We had a lovely break.
Our only regret was not being able to stay on Island longer.
Thanks again and again for welcoming us home.
I'm sure we will return with our grandchildren when they are more appreciative of the beauty.

The pics did not exaggerate! Beautiful views from the lanai (even when raining). Location was close to all amenities and the kitchen provided almost everything you needed. The owner was wonderful and communicates quickly. Would definitely stay here again with no hesitation!

This property is beautiful! We are a group of 4 first time visitors to Hawaii. After a long day of travel, the fatigue melted away once we stepped into the condo. The view took our breath away! We stood on the balcony in awe. Spent every morning drinking coffee and taking in the view. The condo was beautifully furnished and comfortable. I have issues with insomnia but slept like a baby every night. The beds are that comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need to cook a meal. The owner also provided very nice beach chairs and bags for a day at the beach. The resort is centrally located. We spent time on each part of the island. Was easy to get around. The condo is near the airport and it was fun to watch planes coming in. Also saw a few cruise ships sail past. The owner is easy to communicate with. I truly hope we are able to return to this beautiful island and stay at this property!

Thank you for sharing your home with us! The condo was simply amazing for our recent vacation in Kauai with friends. The views from the patio were better than expected! When we were not exploring the island, we spent our time on the patio enjoying the views, breeze, and sounds of the ocean. Would 100% look to stay at this place again next time we return. Ron's place was spotless, comfortable and included all the "extra's" one typically needs to stock up on when renting. The location is just around the corner from the airport (but not noisy) and convenient to shopping (Target, Costco), restaurants, and beaches. It is also a good central place to easily get to many popular activities and explore the entire island from.
We enjoyed spending time on the lanai and were lucky one day to see a full rainbow after a short rain. We enjoyed watching airplanes and even a cruise ship right from the lanai.
We made daily use of the on-site gym, pool, and walking trails around the beautiful grounds and golf course.
Running Waters Beach is directly below the unit and across the golf course. It is a short walk to get to and a bit of a steep hill to go down but an awesome place for pictures. I wouldn't recommend swimming there because it's quite rough.
We had a couple questions before our stay and Ron responded quickly.
We hope to return someday and highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Kauai!

Fantastic place! We loved it! Ridiculously amazing views from the huge lanai, great south beach weather, fun pool and gym, easy fast access to conveniences, beautifully decorated, nice heavy doors, subzero wolf appliances, super clean, great parking, easy scenic drive to anywhere you’d like to go. Nothing but raves! So grateful we found it. Ron is also a great host! We will be back!!!

Ron’s place was immaculate. It was exactly what you see in the pictures. Super close to the airport, restaurants, shops, and beaches. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. I texted Ron to ask a question and he called me immediately and was very nice. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Kauai! We will definitely be back.

The condo is in a great location and the photos are just what you’ll find. Sitting out on the patio in the evening and having a drink was a great way to wind down. I was able to see whales from the patio on two occasions, which was cool.
Many places to eat nearby and the fully stocked kitchen worked well. Costco and Safeway within a 10 minute commute.
Another note about the weather. This little corner of the island seemed to get the lightest amount of rain. We did have a few downpours but it appeared to rain harder across the way and more frequently as well. It is a very nice location to enjoy Kauai.

Condo is exactly as described, beautiful place. We thoroughly enjoyed the complex. I’m not sure if it’s a Covid thing or not but the kitchen didn’t have any kind of seasoning or spices , not a problem at all but have been to some places where everyone dated them and left them for the next group. Someone had reviewed and said that there was a espresso machine, there wasn’t one when we were there. Again no problem as the coffee maker got a work out! We will definitely attempt to stay there again.

We had a marvelous time at Ron's place and the island of Kauai. It was even better than the pictures indicated. We did alot of hiking around the island and this vrbo was a wonderful home base. I asked Ron several questions leading up to our vacation their and his responses were quick and very helpful. If ever on the island again, we will stay there without question. This property is even more beautiful in person! Although you may be tempted to stay in the beautiful location, the island of Kauai has much to offer! Centrally located in Lihue, you have access to the whole island and then can come back and relax on the lanai or in the pool. Was a fantastic spot for our family of 5!

We kept pinching ourselves the whole time we were there- we loved everything about this property! Not only are the photos totally accurate, it is next level in person. The condo itself is in top notch condition and has everything you could ever need. I had packed paper towel, hand soap, dishwasher pods, etc but they had it all there! The Marriott property was stunning, we loved walking the gorgeously landscaped grounds and enjoyed the beautiful pool as well. The dryer does take a several runs to get towels dry but other than that- NO complaints! Truly an amazing time and blessings that we discovered this condo on VRBO! Best kept secret on Kauai
We were delighted with the property, the location, and the facilities at the condo. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful, and the unit itself was very comfortable and nice. Loved the patio and the view. Close to great restaurants and shopping. Recommend without any hesitation!

Perfect Place to Relax in Hawaii
Our family of five loved staying at Ron and Alice’s place. The location and view are absolutely perfect. We enjoyed using the lanai for our meals. The condo was well stocked for preparing meals and we used the outdoor grills at the resort quite a bit!
The pool and grounds of the property were well maintained. Our kids enjoyed the special treats and activities offered by the pool. We would definitely return in a heartbeat! Thank you Ron and Alice!

Amazing condo!
We absolutely loved staying in this condo. It had the most amazing view from the lanai. Friends and family back home thought it was a photoshop view because it was that perfect. The condo had everything we needed for our vacation to make it feel like home to us while we were there. The location was perfect and convenient to everything we wanted to do. I hope that one day we will be able to return to this paradise.

Breathtaking
The pictures of this place doesn’t do it justice. When we walked thru the door, all of our jaws dropped at how beautiful the view was. I literally can’t say enough about that view. Any free time we had was spent on that lanai.

Lovely Pukalani
This is our first visit to the Kauai Island for my daughter’s graduation celebration before we send her away to college. I don’t ever write reviews but this is definitely an exception. This property is beautiful with absolutely breathtaking view from the lanai. He has everything you need for a home away from home. Love waking up every morning to open the large sliding glass door to take in the fresh air. We enjoyed all the amenities that come along with it…pool, hot tub, bbq area, fire pit, etc. It’s also in a centralized location to get to other shorelines without having to drive such a long distance. It’s so nice and peaceful here not like other hotels/resorts that is so busy and chaotic. However, nothing beats a great host like Ron. He is so kind, thoughtful and quick in responding to all my questions, concerns, and provide alternative options as needed. I can go on sharing how much we love this property. If you come across this property and thinking of renting. Don’t think twice, book it. You won’t regret it. Thank you, Ron for sharing your other home with us. Best getaway experience
Local girl here; spent the Thanksgiving weekend with the most beautiful ocean view over looking the area I grew up playing in the water at Kalapaki Bay. This unit had all the fine amenities of home and then some. Comfortable, relaxing and the pool & resort activities were entertaining & fun. Our 3 kids want to live here, haha. Full kitchen, washing machine & dryer a huge plus. A few small items that we noted but overall a definite gem. The surf at Running Waters break was crashing over the rocks big time so didn’t jump in, especially during the winter swell season, but I bet summer time must be nice and mellow. Postcard views in Paradise
We were captivated by the views the moment we stepped through the door and spent much of our time with the sliding doors open and fans on enjoying the tropical air. The furnishings were very comfortable, baths are sparkling and beautiful and kitchen very well equipped. I made libral use of the powerful blender! This is a great jumping off point for exploring the south and west parts of the island, which we did. Staff was so helpful and friendly and we loved the pool and grounds. It was fun to take the path down to the shore and spy on the amazing sea life in the lava tide pools. It would have been great to have a couple more days here. The one drawback is the amount of air traffic, especially helicopters since it's next to the airport. Otherwise it's a heavenly setting. Thank you Ron, for sharing this special place with us!

A True Dream Vacation
Words cannot accurately express how incredible our stay was at this beautiful property! My boyfriend and I came to Kaua’i for our anniversary and we both thought everything about the condo was absolutely amazing. It made our vacation infinitely better. It’s beautifully decorated, it has everything you could possibly need, and its location was fantastic. The property’s name, “Pukalani”, couldn’t be more fitting. We truly felt like we were in heaven when we opened the door to the condo and saw the gorgeous, breathtaking view from our lanai. It stills feel like a dream to us! We hope to one day return to Kaua’i and stay in this beautiful condo once again!
