We loved how the property sits in that cove and the view was amazing with the back drop of those mountains

The staff were excellent with a great attitude and eagerness to help and provide a great experience.

I would have loved a better selection of local, Hawaii, beer on draft in the restaurant.

The facilities were very nice as were the staff.

There was only a small lot on the side of the hotel where my room was and no one mentioned it upon checking in. It was difficult to get parking there as there were day use beach access visitors allowed to park there as well. The beach was ok but not great.

It was near the beach but not a very pretty one

Very dated - we felt like we were at an old Vegas casino while staying in Hawaii. Food was really bad, very crowded, and extremely artificial. Why are there cheap Roman columns everywhere? There’s also a bunch of additional mandatory daily fees once you get there. My favorite was the mandatory fee for long distance calling benefits.

Great location, perfect resort experience with a nice beach, nice pools and beachside restaurant. Breakfast options are good but the Harbor Mall close by has great breakfast restaurants. 10 min drive from airport and close to most trip tour starting points.

Parking can be difficult as it is open to public beach goers. Laundry rooms are only in one tower and are only coin operated, so if staying in the other tower, it is quite a walk.

Nice beach and nearby restaurants. The staff changed us to a somewhat quieter room when we complained about the awful construction noise, but but our stay was already ruined.

There was a lot of noise and disruption due to construction, and from many helicopters flying low overhead during a great portion of the day. Also, the pool was not warm anough. The reception was a long walk from the front of the hotel, and the spa was cramped with poor amenitied, all due to ongoing construction.

This hotel is on a great stretch of beach but you really need a car to get around when you are here. Pool is beautiful but heater was not working so the ocean was warmer. Rooms were nicely remodeled, spacious and well appointed. Staff was very friendly!!

The common areas really need to be updated on this property. Lobby under construction and outside being painted so lots of construction noise during the day. The gym was in a temporary room that was dismal and warm and equipment was lacking. Bar and casual restaurant need updating.

The sea.

The restaurant : there was only one servicing the entire hotel and Marriott Vacation Club. Long lines for breakfast. Pretty inefficient restaurant and very inefficient stuff. The food : less than average not tasty not good and expensive. The front office : the front of the services at the checking was quite inefficient they made a mistake and they made us wait 30 minutes for their own mistake. The house keeping WHO GIVES THEM THE RIGHT TO SERVICE THE ROOMS ONCE EVERY FOUR DAYS. WE WERE NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS IN OUR RESERVATION BY BOOKING.COM. we paid almost $750 per night per room and there was no housekeeping for 4 days can you believe it. This new brands that are emerging they think they're smart but they are being profitable by taking from us or by not honoring the reservations the way a normal Hotel would do. Very cheap mentality and strategy. PREFER WELL KNOWN FOUR STARS AND AVOID THIS BRAND. AND BY THE WAY ONE OF THEIR HOTEL IN NY I STAYED, NY HOTEL ADMINISTRATORS ASSIGNED THREE STARS. It is THE WORST VALUE SERVICE PRICE I HAVE EVER GOT IN MY LIFE. PREFER SHAME ON BOOKING.COM THEY DID NOT NOTIFY US THAT THERE WERE NO ROOM SERVICE.

When I booked the room, there was a sofa included. I was given a room without a sofa and had to request to be moved to the correct room type that I booked.

I liked the hotel setting, its clean swimming pool. The hotel pays a lot of attention to the details. It's clean and comfortable overall, and hotel staff are friendly overall.
