The location of this property was excellent. We were right next to Diocletian's palace and the old town. Karlo met us near the property on the night we arrived and helped us with our luggage through the narrow streets and up the stairs. The room was spacious with the comfiest bed we have slept on in a long time! The breakfast place was very close as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Split :)

The location inside Diocletian Palace walls, 100 meters from the Peristile square is great. The room is nicely decorated, and has a reception area with a small kitchen. The breakfast is quite good, and it is served in one of the most cellebrated bars in town. The owner is helpful and kind.. Best place to stay in Split if you do not mind steps.

The room is locsted on a 2nd floor only reached by stairs.. Not a problem for us, but it is not for everybody..

Apartment & location

Bit difficult to find, owner came and found me, which was good of him, but a simple sign on entrance would assist.

The location is right next to the sliver gate and close to almost everything including the port. Karlo is a great host. He recommended us awesome local restaurants, and tried his best to answer our questions during the stay. It’s a cozy apartment with proper facilities to fulfill travelers’ needs.

Amazing little gem of a property in an excellent location. Spotlessly clean, great shower, fully fitted kitchen with fridge, air con, very comfortable bed, embroidered bedding and lovely fluffy towels were a nice added touch. Karlo the proprietor met us with the keys, really friendly, sent us lots of information on places to visit and restaurants during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, responded to messages straight away. Excellent breakfast included in a great little cafe bar just around the corner.

Whats not to like! Could not fault this lovely apartment in an excellent location with friendly owner.

our stay was too short

Loved the location, the layout and decor of the apartment (very bespoke and full of character!) and the apartment had everything we needed. The host was also very helpful in providing information.

Breakfast was nice but not a huge selection of food. Other than that all was perfect.

The breakfast was excellent , provided by a restaurant nearby. On the second day I had to have a take out as we were leaving, this was not so good.

The host, Karlo, provided all necessary information beforehand, including arranging the transport from the airport to the property. The check in and check out happened with no problems. The apartment is as good as shown in the pictures, cozy and very comfortable. The location could not be better, literally 2 minutes walking from the main Cathedral, in the heart of the old town, close to all touristic points such as Riva and the street market. There are several options for good restaurants very close to the property (Portofino and Mazzgoon are two restaurant options you should check out if you have the chance).

This apartment is absolutely perfect for a couple visiting the old town of Split. It's located on a narrow and quiet alley inside Diocletian's Palace, minutes away from restaurants, shops, attractions, and a huge farmers market . The apartment was a perfect size for the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped, the wifi worked great, and the bed was comfy. Karlo did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. He helped us carry our bags into the apartment and even hopped in the car to help us find a parking spot. Driving in Split can be chaotic, especially around the old town, and parking is insane. But, Karlo guided us to a spot within a few minutes and even arranged payment on his phone. Breakfast was at a cafe that sits on an iconic square inside the Palace walls, only about a minute from the apartment. The views offered on the short walk to the cafe in the morning is a great way to start a day in Split! We will absolutely stay in this apartment again on future trips to Split, and we'd recommend it to anyone.

Each room is delightfully decorated in warm rich colors, antiques, and modern touches. The location is right inside the Diocletian’s Palace where it is close to many wonderful restaurants, museums, and the Riva. A delicious breakfast was provided at the Luxor restaurant on the Peristyle.

The bathroom is a little cramped in comparison with the kitchen and bedroom/sitting room, but understandable because of the age of the building.

Breakfast was amazing. More food than we could eat. It was located in a hotel restaurant that was a very short walk from our room.

We stayed in Split for one day and this apartment was a perfect choice. It lays in the old town, which was really handy for us to discover the neighbourhood during a short stay. The breakfast was in a cafe nearby, which had a good atmosphere and delicious food. We had a smooth contact with the host as well. Try even the family owned gift shop, they have really nice things there. We had a good stay, highly recommand!

We were offered a public parking nearby, which cost 20€/day instead of 10€ (as mentioned in the description).

Amazing location, very friendly host and super clean. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to stay close to the center of the old tow, inside the walls of the palace and essentially on top of the cathedral.

There was nothing to not like.

Everything was perfect and without problems. We got googd types to museums, restaurants and public beaches. Communication was fast and perfect. Accommodation beautiful, right in the centerof the old town, breakfast werry good Ewerything *****

The room is right in Diocletian's palace so you can't be more centrally located than this. Karlo is a nice host who provided with a list of some really good restaurants. Everything was sparkly clean and we had everything we needed in the apartment. Don't believe the review that says that the bathroom is airplane sized(it's small but it's four times bigger than that). Also, disregard the reviews about the room not being modern enough, because you are not in Las Vegas, you are actually in the middle of an ancient palace and the furniture and decorations fit perfectly. Parking was a bit of a hassle but we managed with Waze and Split parking app which you should definitely install and only walked about 10-12 min.

The room gets a little bit stuffy at night and the air conditioning can't be kept on because it's rather noisy. But it really didn't cause any significant trouble so it's not worth taking points away.

I did not even know where to begin: I had such an amazing stay! The apartment is absolutely GORGEOUS and the level of details inside almost overwhelming. Needless to mention the high standard of hygiene and cleanness. The location cannot get any better than this. Equally exceptional was, Karlo, the host, who made me feel very welcome and provided all necessary information to get around the city. Apartment is right in the heart of Old Town just adjacent to Palace. Great location. Pretty quiet at night as it is tucked away on a less crowded street. Karlo is an excellent host - great communication and accommodating with recommendations. He even assisted us with luggage. The apartment is perfect for two - air conditioning works great, comfortable bed, very clean. Parking could be difficult during non-Covid times, but with tourism still slow, I was able to find street parking - 95Kuna per day. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was very good not far from the apartment in a restaurant nearby. The host Karlo was very friendly and answered our questions promptly. Wifi worked well.

The deco is very old fashioned and there are leather fluffy carpets everywhere which are not hygienic. Too many pieces of deco in the flat and not enough cupboards to put clothes. Safe deposit box was not available.

The best Location you can get in Split, direkt beside the Diokletian Palast and the Riva. The included Breakfast was even served at a cafe in the palace itself. Excellent and friendly host. Helped us with parking and even finding a place to fix our car.
