Le Ca ’Fortuna est un luxueux appartement au bord du canal au troisième étage d'un palais de San Polo. Il est clair et lumineux avec de grandes fenêtres sur trois côtés. Entrée menant à la salle à manger, salon (avec canapé-lit), deux chambres (chacune avec lits queen), salle de bain familiale (avec baignoire / douche) et salle de bain attenante (avec douche), cuisine et balcon avec vue sur le canal. C'est très bien équipé !!

This was the perfect location for our trip, located in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds but close enough to get to everywhere we needed easily. The apartment is well maintained and had everything we needed (family of five). The balcony overlooking the canal is stunning.
Linda sent an incredible planning guide prior to the trip that was very helpful and the local property manager Enrica and Tommaso were very accommodating with the check in process after we encountered travel disruptions on the way.
Nothing but good things to say, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a vacation.

Only drawback is the AC is not very powerful and the apartment is warm. Otherwise, a perfect place for a family of four.

This apartment was perfectly located in the heart of Venice, and absolutely beautiful! We loved the canal views and the spacious interior. Our host, Linda, was very kind and helpful, as well. Really recommend this property for the location and stunning views.

The property was as described on listing and very clean and comfortable. Great location away from the crowds in San Marco but an easy walk to attractions. The balcony is a great area to enjoy coffee and wine. One of the property team, Tomasso, met us at the train station and carried our luggage to the apartment. That was above and beyond! Owner was very responsive and quickly addressed a maintenance problem at the property. Would definitely recommend this property for a great stay in beautiful Venice.

This was our third visit to Venice and first time staying in the San Polo district. The apartment was as advertised with two bedrooms, two full baths (one an ensuite), and plenty of elbow room for two adult couples. The apartment has a full kitchen for those who want to cook and a small balcony overlooking a quiet canal. The apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator but was not an issue for us. Check-in and check-out were a breeze with Enrica and Tomasso in contact at all times. I would definitely recommend this apartment for two couples or a family of 4 to 5.

Rental was fabulous! Close to the vaperetto and so many restaurants. Had everything we needed for cooking. Beware, there are 57 stair steps up to the apartment so keep that in mind if considering this property.

We loved this apartment. Our communication with the owners was easy and helpful. The location was great. Several excellent restaurants close by and steps to the grocery store. The view from the little balcony was great and everything was very comfortable. A very enjoyable stay in beautiful Venice.

My family stayed here in early May for 3 nights. The owner was amazing and so helpful. A bit of an issue getting in the apartment (we were traveling for 24 hours straight and no one answered our bell for 25 mins in pouring rain even though we had messaged and they were inside apartment)
Other than that, we loved the apartment, the location, the comfort, very well laid out and so thoughtfully organized. The terrace was beautiful, the neighbourhood lovely and we adored Venice. A beautiful place to stay. I would recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Often, the advertised photos and descriptions overstate the the rental’s character. We were pleased to find this place was better than expected from the VRBO site photos and description.
TWe did not expect to be spending much time on th balcony becaus it is small, but ended up enjoying wine there every day overlooking a canal intersection. Located on a very quiet side street but a one minute walk to grocery store and within two minutes to shopping, bars, pasticceria, etc.

This is the only place I've ever stayed in Venice, so I can't compare to other places - I can say that we were very satisfied with this apartment - it was clean, as described, and well stocked. It was nice for two couples to have two separate bedrooms and bathrooms (street view room has ensuite bathroom, canal view bedroom does not - second bathrrom is separate). We made breakfasts every morning and ate out all other meals, kitchen was well equipped for this purpose and we could have made dinners if we so desired; there was also three different sized mocha pots which was nice! It was a pleasure to drink coffee in the morning, or relax in the afternoon for a bit on the balcony as well. We did not use the washing machine, but it is a small one in the ensuite bathroom. The walk from the bus station was very easy, and it was easy to find the place; the 3 flights of stairs were not bad for us as well, but might be harder for those with mobility issues. Lastly, there are many restaurants close by (our favorite we ate at was the Mediterranean food around the corner), as well as a grocery store just steps away. All in all, a great stay, thanks!

The unit was very clean and easy to check-in. The location is in the heart of Venice and it is easy to walk to everything. The neighborhood is very quiet and its nice to sit on the balcony, enjoying a bottle of wine and watching the boats on the canals. Would highly recommend this unit.

Lovely, comfortable and warm flat (we visited in February) in an ideal location with plenty of local amenities but a refuge from the crowds thronging St Mark's Square and the Rialto. Everything was well-organised and we appreciated the detailed information issued in advance. The restaurant tips were especially helpful. We liked Muro Frari, Tavenetta da Baffo and Frary's. It was a lot of fun wandering the streets during carnival and seeing the impressive and sometimes outlandish costumes and masks on display. A performance of La Boheme at La Fenice was the undoubted highlight of our trip. For the return journey to the airport, we walked the 10 minutes to Piazzale Roma and took the bus which was quicker and cheaper than the vaporetto.

We spent four nights in Linda’s apartment and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. It is exactly as advertised and we found it to be clean, quiet and in the perfect location. Everywhere we went, it was less than a 15 minute walk away. Tomasso, one of Linda’s property managers, met us at the train station and escorted us back to the apartment and explained all we needed to know about the apartment and Enrica was always available to answer any question we may have. Linda had already provided us with very detailed and helpful information related to local restaurants and attractions and we found her recommendations (we tried 3 restaurants) to be right on the money. Despite it being January, we couldn’t resist sitting out on the balcony, overlooking the canal, having a glass of wine and enjoying the afternoon sun. There is a grocery store 2 minutes away as well as everything else you may need. We had a wonderful stay and, just for the record, January is a great time to visit Venice with all the charm but without the crowds.

This property is so lovely and the location is perfect. The balcony and view of the canal truly make it special. There’s a grocery store around the corner so getting fresh food is simple. We loved being in Venice in December! It’s off season for tourist so there weren’t any crowds or lines. The temperature was in the 50’s which was pleasant, and there weren’t any water issues so we didn’t need boots. A one word description would be “PERFECT”!

First of all, the apartment was a very large size compared to others. 2 bed and 2 bath with a nice sized kitchen. Tomasso helped us up the stairs with our luggage and was very helpful with some neighborhood hot spots as well as the best way to get to the airport. The apartment was very clean although I would recommend to close the windows if they are open upon your arrival because the mosquitoes will get in. The best part was Enrica who was extremely helpful and even booked our taxi from the apartment to the airport. Very nice stay and very helpful staff. 100% recommend.

This property is just as adorable as the pictures show. the balcony is beautiful and everything in the unit was in great condition. The property manager was helpful and responsive and the person who met us to let us in was amazing!

We were generally happy but I’d caution summer renters that the A/C does not reach the second bedroom well. The balcony was lovely and the owner did a great job outlining dining options. We also appreciated the washer access. At the last minute the property manager sent someone to meet us at the train which was well intended, but I felt pressured to then use a water taxi instead of the vaporetto we had planned. I requested advice on water taxi vendors for an early am departure did not get a timely reply.

This is a lovely spacious apartment in a quiet yet central location in Venice. There was plenty of room for our party of four, and we really appreciated the comfortable bedrooms with baths (one with laundry), the well stocked kitchen, and the great living and dining areas. We were very comfortable, and everything -- including a grocery store, and vaporetto stop -- was in easy walking distance.
One of the things we appreciated the most was the balcony. The apartment is situated at the cross road of two canals, and we had the most fun watching the traffic below. It was fascinating to sit on the balcony with our morning coffee or evening wine and watch the movement of city where everything is done by boat.
It was super easy to meet up with the local host who showed us to the apartment, making for a painless check in. Communication was always prompt and helpful, and I would highly recommend staying here!

The owner Linda was outstanding. Anything you could think of, she would promptly provide an answer. Anything you didn’t think of was provided in her pdf attachment. Restaurants, sites, etc. Great location and a water taxi can take you practically to the front door from the airport. Inside the apartment was just as described. We had a wonderful few days.

Superb apartment and beautifully appointed. Location is ideal and communication with Linda and Enrica was faultless. Away from the crowds of San Marco and only a short 10 min walk to the train station. As a family of 5 we had traveled in Italy for a month and this was the nicest accommodation. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Venice. We had some communication issues with the property manager,. but I think that was our fault. We loved the balcony overlooking the canals. The location is very close to the Frari church, a grocery store and some excellent restaurants which we took full advantage of. There is a spot for the water taxis to load/unload just a couple of minutes walk away. Would love to stay here again if we make it back to Venice.

The communication with the property manager was excellent. The place was charming with great views of the canal. The manager even assisted us with transportation to the bus station to get our bus to the cruise ship terminal in Ravennah.

The apartment in Venice is fantastic - overlooking a canal with a lovely balcony.
Great location as the Rialto and San Marco are both walking distance.
The comments about the stairs are true, but should not be a deterrent. Once you get up there it is worth it. Thank God for Tomasso, helped with the heavy lifting.

Very well furnished and fitted apartment in the heart of Venice. It was so handy to have a boat stop only a 4 minute walk and a shop a 1 minute walk away.
The kitchen is equipped with anything one may need- oil, vinegar etc, and the local agent was very responsive when the water was turned off for a short time.
Air conditioning was a life saver, but I would say to beware of mosquitoes- especially in summer: repellent provided.

We had an excellent stay here. The location was great for us. We loved being on the outskirts of Venice and exploring the streets. Owner & property managers were very helpful. Easy check-in & out. One piece of advice - in the summer it gets very hot in Venice and with only one AC unit in the entryway we had to keep our bedroom doors open and make use of the fans the owner provided to stay cool.

This beautiful apartment was ideal for our family of 4. Exactly as shown in the pictures, everything is within walking distance. Close to restaurants, a grocery store and San Toma station. The location of the property was perfect! On the water and perfectly located close to, but not too close, to everything. It was quite and a very short walk to the grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The property itself was perfect for our family and had everything we needed. There are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment, so just be aware if stairs and carrying your luggage up/down the stairs is an issue for you.

Two couples stayed three nights in May. Communication with owner and property managers was excellent. Met us at the train station so we would not get lost and showed us around the apartment. The apartment itself is just beautiful with a roomy sitting room, large and well stocked kitchen, and awesome balcony overlooking two small canals. The main bedroom felt luxurious. The place is centrally located. No elevator so be prepared to climb stairs to the third floor. Really excellent place and highly recommend!

The apartment in Venice is fantastic - overlooking a canal with a lovely balcony. The owner's representative met us promptly on arrival and check-in was easy. The apartment is clean and well kept. The owner even quickly replaced the broken washing machine just prior to our arrival which was a plus!
Just an FYI - the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Does not take anything away from the place, but may be an issue for anyone who may have trouble with a lot of stairs.

Wonderful stay during Carnival. The apartment was located off a quiet street yet close enough for dinner and night life. Enrica the property manager was responsive to our questions and Tommaso was patient while trying to find us from the water taxi. Would definitely recommend.

This apartment was perfectly located. Easy to get to by water taxi from the train station or a short 15min walk. Situated in a quiet street but only a short walk to many cafes, shops & restaurants as well as the main tourist sites. The balcony over the canal made for some lovely evenings enjoying a glass of wine listening to the sounds of Venice all around. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this apartment if you want to immerse yourself in Venice and feel like a local!

We enjoyed our short stay at this lovely apartment. It was perfect for the 3 of us. Enrica, the hostess, was very helpful.
I wish the weather had been warmer to sit out on our little balcony to watch the canal activity. The location was good, we were able to walk everywhere and enjoy all the sights. It was especially nice to have the little grocery store, and restaurants right around the corner from us.

Beautiful property. Furnished tastefully. The balcony is amazing with the view of a canal. Loved watching all the activity on the canal. Convenient to market and restaurants. The local hosts were helpful. Only downside was lots of stairs!

This is a fantastic place. We immediately fell in love with the balcony, sitting three levels above the canal. Sipping on a Prosecco we watched the busy canal life below. An easy walk to many of the places we wanted to visit, a grocery store around the corner, and yet very quietly located. Paradise. We hope to be back.
