We had a great time at the farm. It has everything you need. Mick and Mandy ecen left us tea, sugar, coffee and a heap of fresh eggs, which webt down a treat. The kids loved feeding the animals, they had a great experience. Would certainly recommend to everyone who wants to visit KI.

5 Star stay, we wanted for nothing the whole stay. Home is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Centrally located for tourist day trips. Perfect for families with children, farm animals were friendly and daily fresh eggs was a bonus, thanks for the great memories and chats with Mick and Mandy.

Fantastic family accommodation. Our teens loved the space and privacy, but it would also be perfect for younger families. The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. The animals were lovely to wake up to every morning. Highly recommend!

Lovely big house with all amenities required to enjoy a nice relaxing stay. Ideal for families with children. I loved the outside covered decking area with BBQ for leisurely breakfasts or a glass of wine in the evening.

Very comfortable and Spacious
A great location, very neat and tidy. Perfect for our extended family holiday with the in-laws. Was wonderful to be able to go outside and pat and feed the horses and cows. Definitely recommend it. Only small hiccups the property address on the listing was completely wrong so had to call to get the correct address after searching for a while and most of the DVDS didn't work having been scratched so much by use, all easily remedied :)

Perfect Holiday
Everything was perfect. Thank you so much Mick and Mandy for having us stay at your awesome farm stay. We all loved feeding the horses and collecting the eggs (from the 3 year old to the 73 year old!!!). House, bedding, bathrooms, kitchen were all awesome. Will definately be back to stay again :)

Cannot rave highly enough about this property/farm stay! The experiences for the children are unforgettable (and us adults alike!). Feeding the horses, the cows, the chickens, collecting eggs, the gardens, the space, the fresh air, the lovey, cosy and spacious home, the close proximity to Kingscote but still far enough away.... absolutely wholesome living! Cannot thank Mandy & Mick enough for providing such a very reasonably priced sancturary come haven, come home away from home - that our whole family didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back and will tell all and sundry about this lil gem!🙏

Beautiful
My mother had to take my kids in my place as I had to work in the end. The video and photos of the place and tour I received by video phone call looked amazing and worth more than what was paid. My kids haven't stopped raving about the farm.
I'm looking forward to taking my kids myself next year at some stage.

Perfect position. Beautifully kept expansive gardens. The house is lovely, welcoming, spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Mick and Mandy are great hosts. Both adults and kids will love the animals....oh, and Bruce the Clydesdale is magnificent.

We have just spent a week at this property and have had a great stay. Mick and Mandy were friendly and helpful hosts. The kids loved feeding the animals from the buckets Mick arranged on a daily basis. The house itself is comfortable with the four bedrooms on each corner of the house. Ample seating for dining and lounging and appreciated all the extra blankets for beds and couch! The kitchen is pretty basic but does what you need (just not really anywhere to store groceries and limited bench space). Good amount of crockery, cutlery and cooking items. Fresh eggs from the chooks were available for use, but you’ll need to bring your own oil and other cooking basics.
Overall, we had a really wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property to others!

Bright and cosy
Our family of 6 adults and 2 children thoroughly enjoyed the clean spacious house and friendly hosts (including the 4 legged ones!). This was our first visit to Kangaroo Island and Al-Pac-Em-Inn helped make it a really wonderful visit. We wished we had more time but will definitely be back, hopefully at Al-Pac-Em-Inn again!

Excellent Place!
Strongly recommend this as a place to stay. It's beautifully appointed, very comfortable and has all the facilities you might need in great order. The animals are also great for kids - accessible and friendly, but neither noise nor smell make themselves a nuisance. The external photos of the place really don't do it justice. It's also conveniently located for access to all parts of the island.

Wonderful experience!!
We stayed with our three children (2,4 and 6) and had a fantastic time. They loved the animals and the house easily fit our needs and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic. We stayed for 6 nights and had plenty to do around the island and definitely could have stayed for longer.
Mick was very helpful in suggesting places to go and everywhere we went on his suggestion was fantastic. Great holiday!!!!

Beautiful house in the countryside
We loved staying at Mick and Mandy's house on the farm. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved having the animals near by to play with. So fun to feed the horses and the kids loved playing with the guinea pigs. Close to town to get groceries. Mick and Mandy live next door, so they're there if you need anything. Kitchen was fine to cook dinner for the family. There's a washer but no dryer for laundry needs. Kangaroo Island is a great place to get away to. We loved seeing the koalas, kangaroo, wallabies, sea lions and fur seals. Would definitely stay here again if we get the chance.

Beautiful property inside and out, well kept and clean. Highlights are the wonderful animals that gave a deep sense of peace and always nearby to give a comforting nudge and morning greet, and the owners Mick and Mandy who have made us feel as welcomed as if we were in our own house. Farm Fun!
Thank you so much to Mick and Mandy for a great stay on the farm. Our two children had a great time playing with the Guinea pigs, feeding the animals and riding Benson! The house is very clean, spacious and well appointed, located in a beautiful setting just a few minutes from Kingscote. The hosts were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and fun. We highly recommend this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here. A great location for anyone that has a soft spot for animals and a perfect base for exploring all corners of the island. The owners are very generous with their time ensuring that the kids had food to feed the animals everyday and also invited them to have a pony ride one night which was one of many highlights of the trip.

Central location for exploring the island
Our family of 2 adults and 3 children (aged 8, 11 and 13) travelled by plane to KI and stayed 5 nights at Al Pac Em Inn. Our hosts Mick and Mandy were generous with their time and effort in ensuring we were comfortable during our stay. Mick checked on us daily, and topped up the feed for the horses, pony and donkey. Mandy patiently gave our kids horse rides and showed them turtles, goats, pigs, alpacas, guinea pigs and chickens. Mick and Mandy also shared their local knowledge of the best swimming beach (Stokes Bay), best seal-watching location (Admirals Arch), best home-made meal (Frogs and Roses) and best haloumi on the island (Sheep Dairy). We had easy access to Kingscote to do our supermarket shop (Drakes), visit the butcher, bakery (Rabbit Warren bakery), fish shop (next to Caltex), gift shop, and enjoy cafe meals (we tried Bella and Cactus). From Al Pac Em Inn, we were able to do day trips to West End (Remarkable Rocks, Admiral Arch), North Coast (Stokes Bay), South Coast (Vivonne Bay, Seal Bay) and Penneshaw (pit stops at Clifford honey farm and Pennington Bay). For a quick swim, Emu Bay is only a 15 minute drive away (pop into Lavender farm on the way).
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Al Pac Em Inn and would highly recommend it .

Fabulous accomodation, central for touring, friendly and helpful host
We had a terrific break at this farm stay. The host was friendly and informative about the region. the house was beautiful and spacious, and the bedrooms were roomy. Everything was provided and the lounges were comfortable and huge. I would not hesitate to book again.
