This home was clean and in a nice neighborhood. I wouldn’t technically call it walkable, but there are a couple restaurants that you can walk to on a busy main road to access.
My only complaint: People don’t want to use someone else’s used bar of soap. All that was provided in shower were two unwrapped and used bars, yuck. And no other toiletries, such as shampoo/conditioner were provided.
My recommendation would be to include a starter kit with mini soap, shampoo and conditioner, the same as a hotel. I had to run to grocery store to shower and for the nightly rental being charged, this should be provided to your guests.
Rob’s communication was great with check in. I would recommend this property to families who don’t need lake access but need a bigger space than a hotel room.

We were a group of 7 Davidson alums returning to campus and had a great weekend stay at the property. All of the details of the property were as described in the description. Rob was great to work with throughout the process. He was quick to respond to the questions I had and was very accommodating and flexible to the unique needs of our group. The property is very convenient and walkable to the Davidson College campus and all of what Main Street has to offer. I highly recommend Rob and this property especially for events that are centered around campus.

The location of this townhouse was perfect for our needs; being able to walk to EarthFare was very convenient. The neighborhood was friendly and the proximity to Davidson College and Main Street was wonderful. The kitchen was adequately supplied with all necessary items. The televisions worked well and we had no problems with the host’s wireless internet service.

We had 7 adults stay for 2 nights while we were in town for a wedding! The location of the house was great, many things are close by. The house was big enough for the amount of people we had, and we were very comfortable. The house was well stocked with the basics and has a nice outside area to relax. The host was very responsive with any questions and all our needs were met. We absolutely recommend this rental!

A CARING HOST, DAVIDSON, AND LAKE NORMAN
Rave review here! We stayed here many weeks while house hunting in the area. From the minute we walked in the door we knew it was perfect for us! It is more than advertised: not one unhappy surprise and many pleasant experiences -- a great host who was easy to reach and talk to; an easy walk to the downtown eateries of Davidson and Davidson College; a quick ride to a kayak put-in at Lake Norman, and walking trails. As we were there for about 12 weeks while shopping for a new home in NC, we came to love the neighborhood and our great neighbors. It's a dog-friendly community and neighbors invited us to church, to the community playhouse, for drinks at their house, and were helpful regarding many of the services we'll need when we permanently settle. This was the perfect jumping off point for house-hunting excursions -- centrally located, with quick access to major arteries and nearby developments and towns. It is also perfect for a little getaway near Lake Norman and Davidson-Charlotte area. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed our stay tremendously. You will not be disappointed if you are fortunate enough to book this home even for a couple of days.

A hidden gem close to Davidson College
This is the third time we have stayed in Rob's home while visiting our daughter at Davidson College. The location cannot be beat as you can walk to the campus and the town to go to coffee shops, stores, and restaurants. Rob is very easy to work with and leaves extra bedding. laundry supplies, and other things that make it easy to stay there and feel at home. We will miss staying here now that our daughter has graduated-a perfect spot for parents weekends or graduation. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly too.

Flood in current home

Very comfortable stay for us. We were in town for my daughter’s wedding, and the ability to walk to town for shopping and restaurants was very convenient. There was no time to cook, but the kitchen pantry seemed well stocked, as well as pots, pans and other necessities. Note to bring your own bath soap and other shower items. Overall very nice, and much better than a hotel for our needs.
