We absolutely loved this place. We were welcomed by out hosts when arriving in the dark. They prepared a very nice braai for us. We spent the evening talking and eating with them!
We liked the tents a lot and loved the outdoor shower with amazing view!
After a nice breakfast with self baked bread we said goodbye to our lovely hosts!

La carpa era genial y muy bien puesta . El lugar muy tranquilo . Mike y su mujer hicieron todo lo posible para que la pasemos bien .La experiencia de ducharse al aire libre observando el horizonte fue única .
La habitación no tenía wifi y la cama un poco pequeña . También no me pareció bien que no nos hicieron el cuarto al día siguiente .

Das Abendessen und Frühstück war sehr lecker. Zum Dinner wurde vom Besitzer und seinem Sohn frisches und sehr sehr leckeres Fleisch gegrillt. Tagsüber haben wir auf Empfehlung des Besitzers eine Ganztages-Safari mit dem Veranstalter CrissCross-Adventures gebucht, welche ebenfalls zu empfehlen ist. Alles in allem können wir diese Unterkunft und ihren netten Besitzer nur weiterempfehlen. Danke!

Ein absolutes Highlight unserer Reise!
Mike und seine Frau waren die besten Gastgeber die man sich nur wünschen kann! Wir haben viele Tipps bekommen bezüglich des Addo Elephant Parks. Abends nach unserem Besuch des Parks, bereiteten die beiden Gastgeber ein leckeres Braai für uns zu mit selbstgebackenen Brötchen und frisch zubereiteten Salaten. Es war ein Genuß!! Ganz zu schweigen von der tollen Tent-Lodge die mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet wurde. Von dort aus kann man die unzähligen Giraffen Nähe der Lodge beobachten. Viele Dank für die tolle Zeit! Auch an das Pärchen aus Süd Afrika, mit welchen wir einen super spaßigen Abend hatten.

Prachtige plek met dieren in de tuin! Daarbij super vriendelijke hosts, met in de avond een heerlijke braai. En ook nog eens hele goed tips en info voor Addo Elephant Park!
Er is een zwembadje, maar daar is wel wat groen. Zelf zwem ik liever in een schoon zwembad. Toch heeft onze kleine even lekker gedobberd!

De rust en het uitzicht op de dieren die rond liepen. Verder zijn de eigenaren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook is er s avonds een heerlijke braai. De perfecte uitvalsbasis voor Addo elephant park.
De buiten douche had weinig waterdruk, dat maakte douchen met wat wind erg lastig.

Die Zelte haben eine tolle Ausstattung, sind sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Der morgendliche Blick auf die Impalas, Kudus und Nyalas vermittelt das Gefühl in Afrika angekommen zu sein. Mike und seine Frau Marietje verwöhnen ihre Gäste mit einem leckeren Frühstück und auf Wunsch auch mit Abendessen. Mike grillt und Marietjie sorgt für traditionelle südafrikanische Beilagen. Besonders genossen haben wir die gemeinsamen Abendessen und die guten Gespräche nach einem langen Tag im Addo-Nationalpark. Mike ist ein echter Naturfreak; keine Frage bleibt offen. Der Addo-Elephant-NP ist gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen und sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben dort tolle Tieraufnahmen aus nächster Nähe machen können, z.B. Elefanten, Zebras, Warzenschweine, Büffel und Antilopen. Man sollte einige Tage Aufenthalt einplanen. Wir waren 3 Tage im Park und jeden Tag neue Tiere und Plätze entdecken können.

Glamping that has all the luxury safari settings but on a much affordable price. Each morning we ran to the deck always excited to see which wildlife animals we could spot. We saw antelopes, warthogs, ostriches, kudus, giraffes (and even a dung beatle in the property's walking path).
As for the hosts, Mike & Marietije, are both incredible, and warm people who will go above and beyond to make every guests stay memorable. We enjoyed the conversations with them as well as Mike's perfect braai & Marietijes yummy homemade cooking.
While a visit in the Addo Elephant National Park is what attracts most visitors in the area, our visit to the giraffe farm & the Danielle Cheetah Project (both recommended by Mike) are highly recommended to see.

The hosts were amazing and we felt welcomed into their home environment straight away. We were visiting, albeit passing through at the same time.
Food was good home cooking, nothing fancy or pretentious, but simply delicious!
Accommodation was comfortable and adequate for a traveling stay.
There is no need to stay at an over the top R10000 per night resort when this little gem ticks all the boxes at great value.
I can't say that I didn't not enjoy anything.

A very warm welcome in a place where you feel like home but better!
Mike and his wife were very welcoming, kind, smiling and thanked them for the care taken during our stay. Special mention for the wonderful lunch prepared by Mike, we enjoyed it!

Lovely peaceful location, comfy tent and a yummy breakfast. Hosts were lovely and very helpful with info. It was about a 45 to 55 minute drive to Addo Elephant park on tarred road. So not close but not too far either. The dirt road might have been quicker but would have been a bit rough on the tyres. Family tent with bunk beds for the kids had everything we needed.
Everything was great. No complaints. Would just suggest some extra hooks /rails for towels.

The place is pretty close to the Addo elephant park.
The owners are wonderful people and they offer a bbq night in the place. we had two great evenings there. they also gave us very good information about everything we needed.
The room is a modern tent with wooden floor and a balcony. really nice and private.

Water pressure is pretty low for some reason.
Shower in our room was only an outdoor shower or a standalone bath - which, in our opinion, is less comfortable when it's rainy or windy outside and you can't shower in the outdoor shower.
We didn't mention any of the above to the owner, they would probably take care of that.
Note that wifi was available only in the dinning room.

I didn't realise that it was a little further from Addo Elephant Park than I thought - guess that was my own mistake. It takes a little longer to get there but the place is worth it.

It couldn't get more personal! Mike and his wife are very welcoming, they are so lovely. We had a great 'braai' and deep conversations with them, where they told us a lot about the SA people and its culture. Also, we got such great tips on how to get around in the Addo Elephant park. The tent itself really was a luxury: the outdoor shower with a stunning view was the cherry on the cake. We spotted plenty of antilopes and even 3 giraffes! Would definitely recommend staying there!

Wonderful warm and attentive hosts - Mike and Marietjie went above and beyond with delicious meals, helpful tips on the local area and great conversation. Beautiful sunrise views on waking up in bed, lovely outdoor showers and great facilities. Incredibly peaceful to wake up and watch the animals, and to spend the evenings watching sunset starry skies. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended! We absolutely loved our stay. watching the impalas, kudu’s, warthogs and giraffes while you are a enjoying a hot shower outside in the sun are an unique experience. The tent is very spacious and clean. Addo park is very nearby. Mike and Marietjie are amazing hosts that make you feel at home. You will feel in harmony when leaving.

Harmony is set in the most incredible landscape, watching giraffes ambling about in the near distance while enjoying a cold beer in the dining lodge was just the first awesome moment of our relaxing 2 day stay. The tents are pure safari luxury and very comfortable, the most enjoyable elements of our hut were the outdoor shower and stand alone bath! We loved leaving the curtains open to be woken up by the sunrise and looking at the stars at night.
Mike and Marietjie are the most gracious and accommodating hosts you could hope to find, fantastic cooks/braai-ers/Addo tour guides and at night created a convivial atmosphere for the guests to dine together. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Harmony to anyone & would very happily return!

Mike was an awesome host very kind and attentive to his guests! he welcomed us in his little paradise that is harmony lodge. we thoroughly enjoyed the secluded place in the bushes close to the natural wildlife habitat. we can’t stress the magic of his outdoor shower with a wonderful view and could have stayed there for hours. if you are brave enough we recommend waking up for the sunrise which rise over the hills of his estate.
in summary, we have discover a nice little pearl next to Addo elephant Park!

Our tent was beautiful inside and in a perfect setting, we could see antelope and monkeys from our deck and the host mike cooked us a delicious potjie in the evening- I would highly recommend this spot and will definitely be going back!!
