This property was perfect for our getaway! In the Marigny but very short walk to French Quarter. From the beautiful kitchen and backyard to the state of the art sound system this house was perfect!!

This property is perfect! 3bedrooms and 21/2 baths. Fenced in backyard with deck and gas grill. This property is deceiving on Vrbo, it is much larger in person. The area is just outside the French Quarter, very easy walk, even closer is Frenchmen Street with its lively, but not as crazy as Bourbon street, nightlife. Thanks to Alex for working with me on my ever changing flight schedule! Definitely be back….. loved it!

If you're looking for a great place to stay in New Orleans, you won't do much better than Alex's place. It has everything you need, fantastic location, and the owner might be the best VRBO owner I've ever dealt with so far. This house is walkable to pretty much everything, but is off the beat and path enough where you won't be bothered by the late night craziness. The house is clean, modern, but still has that NOLA charm. Alex was supremely helpful to our group to what felt like going out of his way to accommodate our group. We had an absolute blast and would 100% stay at this house again if we ever decide to go back to NOLA!

So many reviews have already sung the praises of these amazing hosts, it seems redundant - but if you think the reviews are too good to be true, you are wrong. My kids said repeatedly "this is the nicest place we've ever stayed" and I agree - beautifully remodeled, impeccably cleaned, comfortably furnished. Everything you want in a home away from home. And only a ten minute walk to the best action on Frenchmen St, or 20 mins to the heart of the French Quarter. And my favorite part was the little things - the REAL, soft, comfortable bath towels and cozy bed linens. The fact that there was hand soap at every sink and laundry detergent to use. And of course the snacks and jazz music playing upon arrival made us feel welcome from the start! Really can't recommend this place highly enough if you are staying in the NOLA area. You won't be sorry!

We chose this property for our stay primarily because of its location and ability to accommodate 6 adults comfortably. The house was clean, roomy and comfortable. We mostly walked for excursions....3 blocks to French Quarter, 2 blocks to Frenchmen Street and 9 blocks to French Market. The outside space was nice on sunny afternoons with a drink or cigar.
For airport pick-up/return and further destinations we used The Big E, and Barbara, our driver was a treat. Her knowledge of the city and it's history was interesting and helpful.
Robert's Market is a quick walk for some basic provisions and Loretta's for beignets add to the convenience and neighborhood feel. Don't miss The Ruby Slipper for brunch and creative cocktails. So good we visited twice and just a few blocks away.
Our host, Alex made the check-in process easy and provided a detailed information sheet on the property and neighborhood tips.
All 6 of us were happy with the house and would repeat our choice of this property.

Great location to explore the French Quarter

This is a 3 bedroom home with 2.5 baths. Very comfortable and cozy feeling with lots of room. Nice backyard to sit and sip wine and comfy beds. Owners left plenty of towels and the kitchen was well equipped. This home is about 0.7-1 mile from the center of the French district. We walked there every day and sometimes twice a day! We were able to watch one of the major parades on Fat Tuesday to complete the whole experience. We would totally recommend this home to anyone who wants to have fun in New Orleans and also wants to have a nice place to relax in the evening.

Really nice shotgun house in Marigny that was an easy walk to the French Quarter. Given we rented a car the off street parking was perfect. Check in and keyless access was the best I’ve experienced with a VRBO. Checking out some of the local dives was a really nice contrast to traditional French Quarter tourist places.

The pictures just don't do this place justice. It's absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. From the decor down to the comfort of the beds this place can't be beat. Alex provides detailed information about anything you may need.
The French Quarter and Frenchmen St are within walking distance. We'll definitely be returning to this home in the future.

The listing was accurate, the place was great, Alex has a document he provides with all pertinent information about the listing and surrounding areas including grocery stores!! The only semi-negative I would say is with the influx of homeless there are a couple that roam the streets. None of us felt threatened but they were present.

The house was the perfect size for our group. The location was centralized to everything we wanted to do. Iggy's neighborhood bar around the corner was a great place to unwind, the patrons there were so kind and helped us find place to go out of the touristy stuff. Loretta's café a couple blocks from Iggy's by far had the best beignets. Big E arranged our transportation (Recommended by Alex in our rental paperwork) he sent us Cecil for transport to and from the airport and he was the best! Saved Cecil and Big E's numbers for future stays. The backyard was not as picturesque as the listing shows, but the house and overall stay was amazing.

This lovely, comfortable property was a perfect size for our group of five (two couples, one single person), with good common areas (especially kitchen) and beautiful bedrooms/baths. When we arrived, music was playing, there were snacks waiting for us, and the fridge was stocked with great, New Orleans-made beverages. The house is a nice walk to the French Quarter and close to Frenchman Street and to a great grocery store and other amenities. There is a funky, semi-abandoned lot next door, but even that has charm. A situation arose in our group that required a move to a different spot, and the host graciously and immediately offered us another of his available properties with no hesitation and at no additional charge. We highly recommend this property and this host. And if you are looking for a beautiful, big place in a quieter neighborhood a little further out but very close to a streetcar, we highly recommend another of the host's properties, La Belle Cajolee. I imagine it would be hard not to have a good time in New Orleans, but our accommodations and this host made the trip truly exceptional.

My family stayed in this house during our recent visit to New Orleans, and we really enjoyed it. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we were able to walk to great restaurants, coffee spots, parks and shopping.

From the planning stages through to check out, Alex was phenomenal. Not only was he accommodating, but his home was perfect for our three couple family getaway. The location, off the hectic French Quarter, allowed for many walks into the fervor of activity as well as an easy jaunt to Frenchman and well-known jazz clubs.
Alex’s home was well-equipped with the necessities to make us feel at home. When we arrived, there were New Orleans’ snacks and libations. The sound system linked throughout the house added a wonderful ambiance for our activities. The rooms were spacious, well-kept and the beds quite comfortable. It was truly lovely to have an outdoor backyard to hang out or soak up some sunshine.
The home is near Robert’s Fresh Market which has all the essentials. Ruby Slipper and Barrilleaux Restaurant on Burgundy Street are both great places, blocks away. Such a fun time!

My mother and I spent our birthdays here during Mardi Gras season and the house was the icing on the cake for our trip. Wonderful trip to NOLA
We are a family of 5, two teens, so we have outgrown hotels and frequently use home rentals for vacations. Alex’s home exceeded our expectations and is far beyond what the listing describes. The home is beautiful and was large enough for everyone to have their own space. The beds were comfortable, the entertainment system set the ambience, the patio was a relaxing end of our day for a glass of wine, and the welcome treats were an added bonus. The location is just a walk to the French Quarter. Alex is a wonderful host and checked in with us even during a rough storm to make sure we were ok. We highly recommend and will be back when we return to NOLA!

Perfect place to stay!
The place is just wonderful! Upon arrival, we enter the home and it’s so welcoming! Overhead jazz playing, beautiful kitchen and dining area, and refreshments as if company was coming! Top of the line appliances and security system too! We started our stay with a relaxing drink on the back deck area that offers a grill, 2 rockers and 4 chairs. Staying in the home could be a vacation in itself!
Up stairs: 2 bedrooms with huge closets and a shared updated bathroom
Down stairs: a 1/2 bath off the kitchen, a walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub in the master, living area with comfortable seating for 6 as well as a small pub table, kitchen has bar area and larger pub table with 6 rotary pub chairs.

Amazing location, property and owner
I cannot speak more highly about the property and location. Minutes from our favorite bar on Bourbon Street (Lafitte's) and a few blocks from Frenchmen Street where the bands played jazz and blues which is one of the reasons to come to New Orleans. The property was off the charts, clean, modern and spacious. It had everything we needed and more. The more being snacks and cold beverages that were a great surprise after a 10 hour drive and only having warm beers. Lastly, Alex was an exceptional communicator. I never had to worry about a thing. To me that is a big deal when traveling to a new place. Alex, thank you for everything and we will for sure be back and stay at your property again.

Close enough to walk to the french quarter. Even closer to Frenchman St. which we really enjoyed! House was perfect for our 3 adult couples. House was very nice and had a great time hanging out in the back porch/yard. Definitely recommend staying here!
