The place was really close to the beach. Access to the apartment was nice. Some of the items were dated. We had a ceiling fan that didn't work but the owners had box fans, so that helped a lot. Living room was missing curtains so it was hard to see the TV. The arrangement of the room was great for our crew. Wish the kitchen and bathrooms had more towels.

Emerald by the Sea is very convenient to everything we wanted to do. In addition it was an easy drive to Moody Gardens. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially William. Parking was free and convenient. View from our 8th floor balcony was wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was very inviting and warm. The view from the balcony is much better in person, than the pictures. I kinda liked having a view of the city on one side and the beach on the other. My only complaint was the sliding door to the balcony. It was hard to open. Other than that, the pool was was simply amazing. Everything is close by. I liked having the security in and around the building. I will definitely find my way back here.

This co do was perfect for our family vacation! The kids loved the pool and playroom and the views were beautiful! The kitchen is fully stocked to make meals. Location was very convenient to the Harborside and the strand. Will definitely stay again!

The property was in a good location and the amenities were great. The condo itself needs some attention, particularly the door to the balcony and the railing. I was with my young children and the railing was broken in places which made us nervous. The door was extremely hard to close. The condo needed more towels. There were no wash clothes or face towels. I would definitely stay there again though.

Unit and building were very clean. Parking was easy and the pool was very nice. The reasons I did not care for it were that 75% of the view is horrible, railing was zip tied together, the rules were a bit uptight, and no windows were designed to be opened. The only sliding door was difficult to open and had no screen. Also, between the large scale ,miss matched furniture and the 1000 random things hung on every space of wall….it felt claustrophobic and haphazardly put together. But again, everything was clean and comfortable.

Amenities were great. The heated pool, giant hot tub, outdoor grills, and the game room was all fun. This room has a wrap around deck with a combo view of the gulf to the east and south and of the city to the north and west. The condo was spacious, with plenty of bed rooms and bathrooms. Black out shades on the windows would be preferred but understand they aren’t always an option. Wrist bands were required when in the commons area and pool. If they didn’t recognize you and couldn’t see your wristband the front desk attendant would ask about it. No big deal. Nick and Patty were very nice and great help with getting checked in and helping get the grill going for us on a windy and rainy night. Although we may choose a house next time, this will definitely be our spot if we want to rent a condo, we would stay here again!

Comfortable, clean and well-stocked. Everyone in our family enjoyed it and the sunrise views are gorgeous. We stayed for Thanksgiving and the host even left an aluminum roasting pan for us. Wonderful accommodation.

The place was overall clean despite some missed spots (kitchen counters not wiped down and dirty dishes in the dishwasher). Enjoyed the view from the balcony, close proximity to the stores, restaurants & beach. The pool and hot tub was enjoyable with a majestic view of the sunset. The downfall is the “bracelet” that’s required to be worn since we’re vacation renters, so the permanent residents knew who we were. Even though we have access to the amenities on the 6th floor, we were restricted to use the gym. It was only available to us on the weekends (seems a bit odd). VACASA staff was very communicative during the rain storm; brought in patio furniture due to the winds and provided extra items that we needed (big thanks to William). We enjoyed our stay for the time being but would be reluctant to rent a condo in the future due to the rules & regulations.

My teenage kids had a great time playing pool and watching movies when we were not at the beach. Location is great, walking distance to the beach with plenty of chairs and umbrellas for rent. Close to the Strand for a nice dinner out as well. The unit itself was nice and clean, a lot of furniture so it felt a little cramped but worked just fine for us. The balcony had a broken rail so we were not able to sit out and enjoy the views in the evening.

The weekend would not have been easy if we didn’t have personal contact while we stayed there. Thanks to Jake! Vacasa made it so easy when we needed help or something happened on the property. We love the condo and the beautiful views of Stewart Beach. It was so cute with the many framed arts and well stocked kitchen ware. Before school beach break
The condo was listed as sleeping 8, but it only has beds for 6. The building is nice, but not renter friendly. We had limited access to amenities, and were required to wear paper wristbands at all times. It's across the street from Stewart Beach, which was convenient, however, it was a 20 minute walk. The balcony was fabulous.

I loved the view. The pool is nice. They make you wear a pink wrist band so the permanent residents can keep a very good eye on you.

Nice stay
The property is nice with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and small living space. The wrap around porch overlooks the beach on one side and industrial on the other side. Bring your own toiletries (the ones you’re given are small), coffee pods, and laundry detergent. The kids loved the WiFi and the cable tv. The pool was amazing! It’s heated and the hot tub is huge.
