Si vous recherchez la retraite familiale parfaite au bord du lac, ne cherchez pas plus loin. Échappez à l'agitation de la vie quotidienne dans cette maison de lac pittoresque récemment rénovée située sur le lac East Bass à Gwinn, MI. Profitez de l'eau avec un bateau de pêche, 2 planches à pagaie et 5 kayaks. Le soir, vous pouvez jouer aux cartes ou aux jeux de société, regarder des films, surfer sur Internet, vous détendre tout en admirant le coucher de soleil depuis le kiosque et faire des s'mores au feu de joie. Notre chalet est parfaitement aménagé pour les grands rassemblements, disposant de 5 chambres chacune avec une belle vue sur le lac. La maison est située sur une péninsule, vous avez donc une vue imprenable et un accès à l'eau des deux côtés de la cabine. Cette retraite familiale est entièrement meublée avec des draps, des serviettes, des ustensiles de cuisine, des épices de cuisine, des jouets aquatiques, des vélos et des cartes / jeux de société pour tout le monde. Nous sommes situés à moins de 30 minutes de Marquette, de la Northern Michigan University, du théâtre du lac Supérieur et du domaine skiable de Marquette Mountain. C'est un endroit parfait pour des vacances en famille! Tahquemenon Falls, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Seney Wildlife Refuge, Porcupine Mountain State Park, Isle Royale et Mackinaw Island sont tous à quelques heures de route. Le comté de Marquette est devenu une destination pour le VTT et le ski de fond. Great location. Lovely home. Many more amenities than I expected. Saw the Northern Lights for the first time in my life. Kids loved the water and kayaks. Larry’s store and the bait shop were convenient and helpful.
Could have used hand rails on steps and front door.

Absolutely amazing property!! From start to finish we LOVED everything about this rental. Dana, the property manager, really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was 5 star! The lake was gorgeous. There were 13 total in our group and we had plenty of room to gather and also to spread out if we wanted to. Highly recommend this property!! Beautiful vacation.

This hidden gem was the perfect retreat for our busy family to unwind and reconnect. We took in all the amazing features of the home and also the beautiful lake we were surrounded by. It was close enough to Gwinn that a quick trip for food or pizza was easy (and delicious). It was the reset we needed after a very busy school year.

This house is located on a quiet lake and we had a great time swimming, kayaking, and riding in the pontoon boat. We saw bald eagles flying over the lake in the morning. The host provided everything we needed, including life jackets, towels, and water toys. There were ample bedrooms for our two families with kids. The property manager was very helpful when we had an issue come up requiring a repair and got it fixed the same day.

This place was perfect for our family of 12. Beautiful view of the lake on both sides of this cottage which actually is a home!!! It is extremely well furnished, clean and organized!! Has all the extras!!! Communication was excellent! We had great weather and enjoyed all their yard games, kayaks, and paddle boards! Lots of fish were caught as well! They even spoiled us with some local treats to welcome us! Our ages ranged from 80 down to 8 - there was something for everyone to do!

Myself and 5 other family members stayed at this beautiful lake house for a week! We absolutely loved every minute and had a great time making memories in the great UP! We traveled from Kentucky to the UP and was able to find something to get into everyday. We even took a day to sit around and relax. Dana was amazing with any questions we had. Thank you so much the amazing experience!!

Our family enjoyed our stay. The common areas are spacious, well-appointed, and good for a large group. The outdoor seating and lake views were lovely. The master bedroom was large and lake facing with a comfy bed. The queen bedrooms and the double bunk bedroom were nice as well. The 5th bedroom with the twin beds did not work out for our family as it was really cold in that room and the water heater was pretty noisy in there. Overall, a quality place to stay with above average lake views and access.

What a great location. Beautiful clean home right on the water. Had a great time fishing off the boat and off the dock. Owner was fantastic to deal with. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Great fishing for the kids. Very roomy for 14 of us. Lots of outside chairs available. Lots of firewood. Plenty of life jackets. Lots of forks for smores. Having 2 refrigerators was great. Nice shallow water for younger kids.
Would have been nice to have more microwave dishes. Master bedroom had an amazing view but could have used a privacy screen for dressing since anybody from the outside could see in.

We had an amazing time at this property. The host was very accommodating, the location of the property was great, and the lake house is a great launching point for tons of nearby attractions (including Pictured Rocks and other great fall hiking). Nothing but great things to say about the property and host. We look forward to our next visit!

The family was happy with the success of fishing. We rented the pontoon boat for our stay. It was wonderful to have that at the dock ready to go. We successfully caught Pike. Almost everyone in the family caught a
fish. Some we had to release because of size. The weather was perfect for our stay. The young ones enjoyed the kayaks and water boards. Some traveled to Munising to kayak
at the Pictured Rock. Another day we went to Marquette and visited the Superior Dome and Presque Isle. The family was determined to jump off the Rock and they did.
We had a terrific time and the location was great for fishing.

This property was absolutely perfect for our LARGE family! It was spacious inside and out. Whether we were laying in the hammock in the front or sitting on the spacious back deck, the views were breath taking. We arrived just in time for the colors changing. Though a grocery store was minutes away from us the fishing on Bass Lake provided unforgettable memories and a feast for our family.
This slice of heaven provided plenty of things for our family enjoy. From board games to outdoor activities to just taking in the beauty this made for one of the best vacations we have been on. Not to mention that our parents were over the moon that they comfortably had all 4 children and with their families under the same roof.
Matt and Nancy were very accommodating and kind! They really maintain this property inside & out. A few days prior to our arrival Nancy sent us a well layed out welcome packet. She checked in to make sure we received it and and again to make sure that we didn't have any issues finding the residence and everything was up to par... Which it was! We felt welcome the moment we arrived. We loved that they had activities for all ages and that we had the option of renting their pontoon. They truly made us feel at home!

Peaceful Oasis
We loved our stay at East Bass Lake! The house and property are amazing. Lake front on both sides. Very quiet and peaceful lake, very little boat traffic. Kayaks and SUP provided. Fall colors on the lake were peaking in late September. Campfire with wood provided. Absolutely amazing property!

Perfect UP getaway
This house had everything we could need or want and more for a family vacation. Nancy was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this beautiful house to anyone looking for a perfect getaway to the UP.

Great family vacation!
We rented this house along with a friend’s family (4 adults and 5 kids ages 4-10). Everyone had a blast as there was so much to do at the lake and in the surrounding area. From the house, we went swimming off the deck and dock (great sandy, walk-in bottom for kids), kayaking, pontoon boating, paddle boarding, and fishing. The lake is very clean and calm. Sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous. We also took some day trips to Marquette and went to Presque Isle, Grand Island, and Little Presque Isle. All very fun. Looking forward to coming back to the UP at some point. Thanks Nancy!

We did have a good time.
It is a good place to get together with family. Plenty of room. Seemed like a lot of rules. I don't know if being that close to the water made it so it would have gnats in the shower, or if they just forgot to check to make sure it was clean. We thought the tv would pick up some stations but couldn't get a thing. Glad they supplied movies. But overall we had a great time.
