BONNE NOUVELLE. Notre chalet a très bien survécu aux feux de forêt de Gatlinburg !! Le côté de Ski Mountain sur lequel nous nous trouvons est en dehors de l'empreinte incendie. Depuis notre chalet, vous avez toujours une vue magnifique. Merci à tous ceux qui ont envoyé des pensées et des prières.
Les enfants ne voudront pas partir !!! Notre enfant de la maison conviviale a quelque chose à offrir à chacun !!EXCELLENTES vues qui comprennent beaux levers de soleil sur le mont LaConte, le tramway aérien du centre-ville de Gatlinburg, une salle de jeux avec jeux d'arcade FREE REAL qui divertiront à coup sûr adultes et enfants pendant des heures, située près de l'une des trois piscines chauffées communautaires de Chalet Village (ouverte de mi-mai à mi-septembre)et à 800 mètres de l'entrée du domaine skiable d'Ober Gatlinburg. Tout cela pour une grande valeur !! De plus, nous avons un parking !! Nous avons une aire de stationnement qui peuvent convenir à 4-5 voitures partout et tout le monde peut sortir ou garer une remorque de moto !!
Notre Chalet est une grande conception A-cadre. Il dispose de trois niveaux avec un bain à chaque niveau. Le premier niveau dispose de 2 chambres (1Q, 1F), une salle de bain complète et un centre de blanchisserie (laveuse et sécheuse). Le niveau principal dispose de 2 chambres (2Q de), une salle de bain complète, le salon / salle à manger, une cheminée à gaz avec salon en contrebas, cuisine, et les ponts qui entourent 2 côtés de notre maison, et le bain à remous. Le 3ème niveau a une chambre (1K), plus un lit (1F) sur le grenier, une baignoire. La salle de jeu est sa propre salle de ce niveau et a canapés. Notre cabine est proche de toutes les attractions de la région (Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Cherokee, entrée du parc national et plus). Il se trouve au sommet de la montagne de ski dans le quartier Chalet Village et notre rue se termine avec la boundry à la Forrest national qui permet une visite occasionnelle de la faune sauvage, i. e. «L'il Smokey», un ours noir, qui aime à visiter notre maison de temps en temps à la recherche de leur prochain repas. Eventhough, nous sommes au sommet de la mountian, nous sommes encore à seulement 3 miles du centre-ville de Gatlinburg et 15 minutes de Pigeon Forge.
Nous avons un service Internet sans fil, SERVICE DE TÉLÉPHONIE longue distance gratuit pour les États-Unis et le Canada, et le câble numérique. Nous avons des systèmes stéréo, lecteurs de DVD et VHS et une bibliothèque de films pour votre plus grand plaisir. Pour votre confort, nous offrons des draps de luxe et serviettes, une cuisine complète et des plats avec une mise en place pour le 15.
Notre maison a quelque chose pour tout le monde ... et de divertissement, à proximité de toutes les attractions de la région, points de vue, la maison est située beaucoup loin de vos voisins de tous les côtés, et le plaisir. Le mot que je l'habitude d'utiliser pour décrire notre maison est qui est a 'la Grande-Flow' pour un groupe. Pendant que les enfants sont dans la salle de jeu, les adultes peuvent profiter d'un film ou vues depuis le pont.

I was very disappointed that we did Not have a view. We did see bears daily which was fun. The cabin is in great need of TLC, it has good potential but is need of refreshing and repair. We did have room for everyone and the beds were comfy, wifi worked as well unless you were on lower level, then ify. Host were quick to respond when messaged. Note that bears can open trash bins. There was trash all around from checkin. Noone came to clean as we were told they wouldhosts may want to contact th

The game room was a favorite and the hot-tub was nice. Bear visited daily and we thought that was fun. We had a difficult time getting everything in garbage bins- there were 4 cans, but only could get one open to put trash in. Note said the garbage gets picked up multiple times a week, but maybe they are short staffed, as that was not our experience. There were a few roaches in the house, but not anything crazy. Also a leak in the front bedroom on 2nd floor. The ceiling in the top floor bedroom flakes dirt onto the pillow of the bed daily, but it’s just an old home, so not a big deal. Top room also has a very strong odor, but again, no big deal. Ac worked great, kitchen was functional, as were showers. Drive up was sketchy, but that’s just the area. Just understand you are booking an older, lived in home that is probably overwhelming for the cleaner to clean every aspect of.

Kids were super excited about the game room. The variety of the pool table and games kept them busy for hours. In addition, the common area, which included the kitchen, fireplace pit, dining area and living room provided plenty of space for the entire group. Saw plenty of bears so make sure to lock your vehicles as one did the car doors and help themselves to anything it could find to eat. The owners were very responsive to anything we needed. Unfortunately we didn't have a view due to tree leaves. The house could use some TLC updates. But overall we had a great visit.

This is a throwback to the 70s and not in a good way. Everything from the carpet to the furniture and everything else is old and shabby. There are absolutely no mountain views from the house. The stairways are steep and narrow, nobody with any mobility issues ahould consider staying here. There is a constant flurry of some white powder coming from the peak in the living room that coats the sofa. We had a thunderstorm one day and the roof leaked in two places. We actually left a day early because everyone was ready to get out of the place.

Everything about getting information we needed and checking in was great, I enjoyed the simplicity of it. The pictures did not show some of the age and wear that was there but we didn’t mind, and the pictures made it seem way bigger. But again plenty of room for us. We used the hot tub twice and it worked great. The trip to Gatlinburg was quick and easy, pigeon forge not so much. We did end up seeing a bear on the property but it was a welcome treat as we love wild life. I do wish the tv remotes had been labeled for each tv, we never really got that figured out. All in all I am already trying to figure out when we are going to come back.

Pros: great location, excellent value for size of property, fun family atmosphere with arcade, hot tub, and fireplace.
Cons: narrow roads, driveway has steep incline (commom in this mountain area), property is dated but functional, no shower head with king bed room ( tub only) overall great choice for budget minded.

This house met all our needs with enough bedrooms and enough living space to have a really good time. The porches were big and surrounded the house. We enjoyed the hot tub. When we called the owner, he responded immediately.

We had a great time and when needed, the property owners responded quickly and were helpful. The home was well stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils. We did run out of dishwasher tabs and trash bags for the main trash can, but I’m sure if we’d asked for more, they would have been supplied. There were lots of beds that were all pretty comfy. If you’ve got so many people they need to sleep on the couches, bring an extra blanket or two. We didn’t find any in the dressers. The grill works great and the hot tub is also very nice. The arcade games all worked and we played lots of pool. One last thing, it’s up high in the mountains but close to the end of the strip in Gatlinburg. Ubers will drop off and pick up at the house but if you’re driving you’ll want to have a car with some clearance and horsepower to get up the driveway. This is a great property!

The hot tub and game room were a big hit with our group. Driveway indeed had plenty of parking and our group of 10 had plenty of space to spend time together for meals or games (or apart for quiet time). The location was convenient to the National Park and the owners were excellent about early communication with clear instructions.

Everything you need in a cabin. It’s not a brand new cabin but it felt rustic and everything you expect to stay in the mountains. Super close to gatlinburg. Loved the arcade.

We stayed here for the sole purpose of it being so close to the Ober Gatlinburg resort. It was a great spot. The house is a bit outdated and I gave 4 stars on cleanliness because there was hair in the tub in the downstairs bathroom. But otherwise a nice place to stay, especially for multiple families!

I had a terrible experience with this vacation property. The cleaning was subpar, with excessive dust everywhere. As a result, my son suffered from allergies throughout our stay. Additionally, the house itself is in poor condition, with broken drawers in the kitchen and a malfunctioning shower in the bathroom on the 3rd floor. Furthermore, the access to the property was complicated.

The cabin was perfect for our family in so many ways! Enough room for us all! The game room was non-stop entertainment! The Christmas decorations that was already there combined with what we brought as well was perfect! Steve and Sandy were a joy to work with… so thoughtful and kind! No bear sightings but we do believe they were ‘around’ during our visit there. This chalet felt like home away from home! Many, many thanks!!!

The house slept a lot of people but there were a lot of things left to be desired. Quite a few of the lights were out/not working, the fire place was inoperable, and over all the house could really use some TLC.

Views were absolutely gorgeous! The price for place was very reasonable for vacationing on a budget. Can be in downtown Gatlinburg in about 10 to 15 minutes! The house was dated and could use some updating but suits your needs. My grandkids loved the game room. You will definitely see some bears!

The cabin was nice to many bears they were in the hot tub. Couldn’t go in. They were all ways around the house. I was cooking on the grill one came up on the deck, I had to go in the house. They nocked the grill over . It should have been chained down. They were on my truck a lot and a car my truck had a $1,000 worth of damage. My tunnel cover. Scratches.And a few dents. Beautiful area but would not come back.

We chose this property because of the space it had available. It was in the perfect location, close enough to stuff yet secluded. LOTS of bear sightings. The home is a little older but very clean. The only thing that could have been better was more towels and less steep steps in the house. But other then that it was great for our wedding party.

The name is perfect!! The bears definitely drop in for a visit. Everyone we spoke with was jealous as we had daily visits from momma and her bears. The game room was a blast. The rides to and from are gorgeous.
It also was a savings cooking for the family, rather than the expense of breakfast, lunch and dinner out.

Other than minor issues (bear ruining hot tub liner so keeping hot tub clean and bear free was difficult) our family found this house perfectly acceptable and accurate with photos. No special bells and whistles but still a comfortable home base for us all during the week. The adults enjoyed the pool table and the kids really enjoyed the arcade games. Thanks for the hospitality!

Our family enjoyed this chalet it was a beautiful home the owner kept in touch about any problems and answered all questions right away! They are not lying about the beats we had many encounters with them, but they just go away. I was a great experience! Close to everything! We had a great time!

Eight people were in our group, this included three generations. We enjoyed our time at the cabin, but the property is dated and in need of repairs. Also, The inside stairs are very steep. The third floor shower is not usable due to the slant of the roof.

The property was great for our group. There was plenty of space for us all. The kids enjoyed the game room despite a couple of problems with the games. The parking spot was big enough to fit 3 cars easily. The hot tub was nice. We were cautious about the bears, as they came right up on the porch multiple times. I believe that probably some visitors have been feeding the bears, since they are so prevalent, yet this is of no fault of the property owners. Some reviews mentioned the house needing updates, which I would agree with, but wasn't a problem for us. The owner responded right away to my one question. Another plus is that the property is only a 3 minute drive from Ober Gatlinburg, which was excellent for our group. Overall, this was a great place, which i would stay at again.

When we arrived we were so excited. We were NOT disappointed!! This was a get together of friends for over 20 years and our oldest kids that are friends since birth. The game room was well used and enjoyed !! We cooked out on the grill !! Some of the boys used the hot tub..! We even played Hide and seek… (age ranges 22-48). We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and laughing at stupid memories.. All of us said we will rent this cabin again !!! Wonderful place,location, and atmosphere..

We enjoyed staying at the Bear Drop Inn. There was plenty of space for our group of eight. There were a few things about the property that could be improved, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our short stay in this spacious house. It has plenty of room and two main hangout spots. Of course, we took advantage of the amazing arcade room, billiards, and hot tub. Playing NFL Blitz gave me nostalgia! The home could use some updating but that was not a big concern. Overall, a 4/5 and pretty good value/price.
