Cette grande maison est située dans l'annexe directement en face de la rivière Elk. Après avoir passé votre journée à explorer les grands espaces, marchez à une courte distance du centre-ville ou blottissez-vous dans le salon près du confortable foyer au gaz naturel. Mieux encore, détendez-vous sur le pont dans votre propre bain à remous privé ou sauna interne. Construit avec l'artisanat européen, cette jolie maison est conçue pour accueillir une famille ou un grand groupe. L'entrée séparée et le porche fermé permettent un équipement et un rangement faciles pour les skis.
Idéalement situé sur un coin de rue en face du parc Annex, où vous pouvez facilement accéder aux sentiers pour les amateurs de ski de fond et de raquette; et pendant les mois les plus chauds, la pêche à la mouche et le rafting sont à votre porte. Pas besoin de monter et de transporter votre vélo puisque le système Fernie Alliance Trail se connecte au sentier River à 10 mètres.
Fernie possède un spectaculaire parcours de golf 18 trous et un restaurant country club. Le centre aquatique est ouvert à la baignade et possède son propre bain à remous et hammam, mais nous pensons que vous préférerez rester «à la maison» pour vous détendre dans le bain à remous privé et le sauna de l'hôtel.
Les skieurs alpins peuvent prendre la navette ou conduire 10 minutes jusqu'à Fernie Alpine Resort, où vous trouverez les meilleurs sentiers des East Kootenays. Cette maison a été inventée par les habitants comme `` le phare '' car il y a une montre ou une tourelle de veuve fermée montrant une vue imprenable et panoramique sur les montagnes et la colline de ski. We had a really nice stay for two families (4 adults, 4 kids). The house is just off a nice walking trail and close to the mountain, and the kitchen and bedrooms were well stocked and furnished. Sauna and hot tub were awesome for night time wind down. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay at this property for 5 guests on a ski trip to Fernie. The house is very large and spacious and a bit eclectic. Kitchen is stocked for pretty much anything you could imagine. Even a proper tray for baguettes. Large open living room and dining room with fireplace make it great for relaxing/game night. The back entrance is perfect for skis and boots. This is also where the sauna is and exit to the hot tub. Very nice the house was stocked with trash bags and paper towel as this can be rare with rentals.
While the washer and dryer happened to be on the fritz, the host was great with communication and helping give solutions to have any clothes washed/dried while we were there. Parking was ample and salt provided for the snow that did fall for the stairs. There are 2 showers and the master has a tub with a shower wand. The master also has a balcony to "lord over" the main living room.
The turret was great to get 360 mountain views. The house was about a 15-20 min walk to the downtown area but all streets are well lit. Would recommend and stay again.

We stayed at this property for our annual fly fishing trip. It was simply amazing - very clean, convenient, well stocked, and very comfortable. Perfect for relaxing at the end of a hard day on the river! Would highly recommend....

A group of 7 of us stayed at this property and all had nothing but good things to say!! The beds were super comfy and the house was very well stocked with lots of thoughtful extras. Beautiful location right across from the river. The sauna was a huge hit with the group!

We could not have been happier with our stay. The home is beautiful, and the accommodations were perfect for our group of friends. We all love to cook, and the kitchen had everything we needed and was fun to work in. We had other friends staying in the area who joined us for dinner, and we especially liked the large dining area which was perfect for a game night. We hope to make a return visit to fish the Elk River and enjoy the beautiful area.

Every year five of us sisters try to book a runaway together. This house was perfect for us! Lots of room, bathrooms, and amenities! We even went saskatoon picking across the street. Wonderful! Cannot say enough about the accomodations and how well it was prepared for our use!

We had a wonderful time staying at this house. It was just minutes from downtown Fernie and the ski slope It was beautiful, and comfortable inside. The fireplace, sauna and hot tub were all perfect for some warm relaxation after some wintry days. The house had everything we needed and the hosts we're very welcoming and communicative. We all can't wait to go back and stay there again!

We really enjoyed our time here this summer! This place has everything you'll ever need and is in a great location in Fernie right across the street from the river and bike path. Any questions we had were answered right away, Nan was an excellent host!

We wanted a place in the mountains to relax and celebrate. This place offered something for everyone in our party.

My family and I (6 total) stayed at Mike and Nan’s for a week during the Christmas holidays. We had everything we needed right at the house to make us feel like we were at home. A hot tub with an amazing view of the mountains and a sauna to take the chill off after a day outside in the winter. The hosts provided a welcome
bottle of wine and even decorated for Christmas. It was small touches like these that made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Nan was great at staying in touch with us and we had a smooth visit. The location was perfect- walking distance to downtown and groceries and right next to the river for beautiful walks along the dyke.
I highly recommend Mike and Nan’s to stay for a large group who want to have a comfortable and relaxing stay in Fernie. There were days we didn’t even have to leave the house because we had all we needed.

We used the home as a base for Elk River fishing. It was ideal. Short walk to the fly shop, restaurants, the river, other essentials (liquor store) and the property was beautiful. See you next year. Grant

This house was awesome! Lots of space, immaculate condition. It came with lots of stuff including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a kettle and books and more. And the turret was amazing. Great location next to river with lots of running/walking trails.

Myself and six adult friends spent a week at this gorgeous location. There was space for everyone, comfortable beds, large bathrooms, comfortable hot tub.. All-in-all, we didn't want for anything! The kitchen was large and spacious and many different appliances and amenities were provided. The drive to the ski hill was minimal, and we were able to walk to a few different restaurants although "downtown" Fernie was a bit of a longer walk away. The host, Nan, was very responsive throughout the whole booking and stay process which was extremely helpful. We would be looking to stay here again as our #1 choice if the opportunity to return comes up!

Great to walk along the lake to Main Street. The house was equipped with so much and all the little touches made the stay so much better. Our hosts had thought of this with all the comforts of home..
