I thought that I was signing up for a regular motel/hotel. It wasn’t! I was renting an apartment in a building and I had NO idea of which apartment, how to get keys ect. An extremely frustrating experience. As an example of how bad it was…I gave up! Went down the road to another hotel and just give up on the money already spent on Silver rock. Unfortunately/ fortunately they were full and I had to go back to Silver rock. I eventually got the key “fob” and got in.
They wanted a $500 deposit!!!😳. That alone made be VERY suspicious and uncomfortable! I have traveled a lot this summer and stayed in 60+ establishments. NOBODY insulted as much as you did! Once I got in, I found the hallways to be dark and narrow. Once inside the apartment, things were still narrow and cramped…with signs of deferred maintenance. ( towel bar torn from bathroom wall). I couldn’t wait to leave! AND they had a parting gift for me! If I didn’t get the key fob BACK into the broken lock box…it was ANOTHER huge fee!

The room was clean and check in/out was super easy. Having real coffee in the morning was a great bonus.
The master bed was a little too firm for my liking but that could just be me.

Great location and top notch facility. This would be fantastic for an extended stay as it has everything you need to be self sufficient (although there’s many great dining options in town). The cleaning fees increase the price so it was a bit pricey for an overnighter but that’s all the time I had. It’s a short walk to downtown but has everything you need to keep young kids entertained on site too.

I didn't receive the instructions or lock box code had to call on to get it.
There was a couple of lamps that needed repair...didn't work.
Tv in bedroom was impossible to get to function...must have been set up for gaming?

we booked a king penthouse with fanstastic stay based on the good reviews. (for our anniversary) received the booking confirmation instantly and filled out the damage waiver. ( and paid an extra $25 dollars is a rip off to your customers)we waited forever and still didn’t receive the code for apt keys , we waited patiently in the parking lot , we then grew hungry and went to dinner. we ended up having to call customer service after hours line , once we spoke to the agent( only to access the door code )he then informed us that the room was double booked , we were disappointed to hear this as there was no prior communication about the mix up until two hours later. once off the phone we still didn’t receive the door code until 20 minutes later . Once in the room we found that they placed us in small queen room instead and yet we were still charged the same rate as the penthouse king room! I’m not impressed at all , I don’t think we will stay with fantastic stay in the future. I’ll just book with a highly rated hotel and get the service I desire.

the vaulted ceiling windows had blinds that didn’t work. We emailed the ‘host’ and got Zero response. My wife is light sensitive so she had trouble sleeping with daylight streaming in.
The other pet peave was the number of emails that were sent to us for rules and additional costs - $7 surcharge for the deposit that doesn’t get refunded for 14 days????
Instead of charging the set rate just boost the rate and have one charge instead.
14 day return on deposit is unreasonable - but it appears this operator worried about charging for every rule not followed rather than providing support service. Email from ‘Superhog’ for costs, Better than airbnb, and Booking.com - way too much BS involved.

I booked for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children "13 & 5 years old") and ended up with single beds in both rooms ( 1 room king-size bed, and the other room queen-size), I was expecting double beds in one of the rooms from the kids to sleep on. there was no reception to complain about the issue and it was late and we were exhausted from the long trip.
We ended up sleeping on the big bed with the little child, This caused me and my wife to sleep poorly for the next two nights.

I booked this room specifically because it had pool access. Unfortunately, after my kids had entered the pool, I noticed a human poo in the pool and we had to leave. I personally notified someone associated with the facility to have it cleaned. The pool was not open for the remainder of our stay.
When I inquired about some sort of price adjustment, I was basically told that it was my tough luck. This was the real disappointment.
I’m hoping that this can be resolved.
What happened to the pool was certainly an accident. How it was handled afterwards couldn’t have been done worse.

The rooms were great. Very comfortable beds. It was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen (plates, cutlery, etc).
Main room was excellent to hang out in after skiing.
Check in at 3:00 p.m. would have been nice. We got there at 3:40 p.m. and had to wait 20 minutes even though the keys were available.

The apartment was easy to access and the lockbox system was convenient. The apartment was clean and fully stocked. The bed was very comfortable.
The amenities (pool/hot tub) were out of order and these were the reason we booked at this location. We ‘splurged’ at $220/night, justifying it with the pool and hot tub. So it was extremely expensive without these amenities. I lived in a similar resort full-time and if the pool and hot tub were down, the prices also went down. Very disappointing to pay full price on this stay.
