Bathrooms could be cleaner.

Imelda and family were absolutely wonderful. Location was excellent- close enough to all the action but far enough away to avoid late night party noise. Room and bed were very comfortable. Super value for the money!

Imelda and her family were exceptional hosts! Did everything to make us feel welcome, with all the little extras (towels, soaps) that make you feel at home. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet in a tucked away street away from the hustle and bustle of the town. It was Imeldas birthday while we stayed and the family brought up a plate of traditional food and birthday cake for us after her party, so kind! Thank you Imelda and family for an amazing unforgettable stay in your beautiful home.

Imelda and her family were very warm and welcoming. The place was very clean and had good view of the lake. It was a very comfortable stay. There are shops bakery nearby.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you enjoy feeling as if you are in a family - with Imelda warmly welcoming you and her son and daughter-in-law also helping with anything you need. Her very cute and very intelligent grandson will keep you entertained. If you want to improve your Spanish or are studying at one of the schools in San Pedro, this is a perfect place to practice - sitting around the kitchen table with Imelda and other guests - some students, some Spanish speakers. You can also eat on the balcony which has lovely views day and night of the lake and volcanoes (partly interrupted by the roof over the yard but still amazing). I loved the location which is up the hill away from the main tourist area. It is quite a steep walk and I often ended up going different ways - enjoying seeing local life - and you can use a tuk tuk if you are tired or in a hurry. San Pedro is a great base for trips to other villages and to Chichicastenango market. My room was large and had a table and a large open wardrobe with hanging space, drawers and shelves. Lovely large room. Very friendly family run place. Good views and a good shared bathroom. We also had private entry to our room. Lovely people and we would stay again.

A steep uphill walk from the port but you can get a 50c for a tuck tuck. The bathroom was really good but needs cleaning regularly.
