We had the most incredible stay here, and didn’t want to leave!! You are literally perched above the ocean with the lull of the waves relaxing you and a the most incredible view. It was so fun to drink coffee each morning while watching the lobster boats. The home is comfortable and well appointed with everything you need for a wonderful stay. We will definitely return to stay here again.

The cottage is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. I enjoyed walking down the road and around the point to the coves every day (with my dogs). I spent a lot of time on the deck, just watching the boats go by or the ocean. Sunrise should not be missed! At the beginning of my stay a storm passed by. The waves were incredible. But being inside with the fireplace going made it amazing. Scott is an excellent host, communication was great. His paintings also hang in the cottage :)

The cottage was clean and well appointed and the views were gorgeous. Watching the boats and beautiful sunrises was very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay.

Awesome cottage with breathtaking views! There is no other cottage in Boothbay with such an awesome view. We saw a seal and dolphins right from our deck! We will definitely be back!

It's all about the view, of course, which is spectacular! But the cottage is very charming, comfortable and well equipped. This is our second visit to this particular property, and we definitely plan to return. Absolutely delightful.

My husband and I have been wanting to stay at this cottage for years and finally made it last month. It was everything we wanted it to be. Cozy cottage with everything we needed. We had a few questions come up but Scott promptly responded and took care of anything we needed. We spent a lot of our week exploring the the surrounding towns, enjoying the food and the scenery. But the best time was in the mornings as the sun was coming across the bay (with our coffee) and the afternoons (with our wine) as the sun was setting. We watched wildlife and boats coming and going and it was beyond beautiful, so peaceful and so private. So glad we finally made it!!!!

We loved this relaxing cottage by the sea, and watched wildlife from the balcony (seabirds, osprey carrying fish in the talons, and seals). The property was as advertised, and more! Thanks so much.

Outstanding! The place was perfect for us to experience the harbor and restaurants in Boothbay, the whaling trip, schooner experience in Camden, visit to the Maritime museum in Bath (visit with cousin)… and delicious lobster dinner we prepared on our own at the cottage. Great experience with quite the vista! I can’t thank you enough!

Let me first state the positives. You cannot...CANNOT...get a better view. It is right above the ocean and it is stunning. The area is quiet and serene. Beautiful! In the early morning, you do hear the lobster boats, but it's actually kind of lulling. There were some negatives. I think the furniture and the beds could be updated to be a bit more comfortable and in better condition. I had hoped for more comfortable outdoor furniture as well to sit in to enjoy the view. The shower is for shorter people (I'm 5'9). The rule of removing dog hair before you leave seemed a bit much for a place that allows pets. BUT, boy that view...the view is the best. Really stunning and the property manager was responsive. I would say about 3.8 stars, but 4 will do.

The interior of the cottage, its view, and its location are great. I would bring water to drink and some extra towels.

My expectations of the property were totally met. The house was wonderful and the view was awesome! Woke up to sunshine and sparkling waters--how can you go wrong with that!

My husband, myself, and my mother stayed at this house for five days. It was so relaxing and peaceful in December. The view was breath taking for sure and the house was VERY clean and well equipped. We travel to BBH twice a year every year and this was our favorite rental so far. The only thing that slightly inconvenient was the state of the driveway. It was a mud pit the entire time we were there and it hadn’t rained. Some gravel is definitely needed there to fix that. Overall, I would 10/10 stay here again if given the opportunity.

Everything about this place was spot on. It was clean and beautifully appointed and decorated. The view is amazing with boats small and large passing by frequently. One caveat, I would be cautious to be there with small children.

This is a sweet place and when you walk in the front door you feel like you are your own little ship because the ocean view just comes in at you and takes your breath away. Cozy, comfy, clean and a great location. The kitchen could use some restocking as it is somewhat limited when you want to cook in and while we were there, a nor’easter visited and the short driveway became a quagmire of mud and could use a quick simple grade and some gravel so as not to track in the cottage. Overall a magical place and we had a wonderful visit

Gorgeous ocean views. Quiet and pretty area. Disappointed that there was no dishwasher and only one shower. Ice maker did not work. Enjoyed our time!

We love the decor, the cottage was very clean and updated and the views were spectacular. Lastly, we want to come back next year, same time.

It wasn't exactly as I remembered it from 4 years ago ... it was even better!! Some places that you go back to after a few years away look tired and worn out. Atlantic Dreams looked refreshed and more breathtaking than before. I haven't felt so relaxed in a long long time. Thanks ... as always!

The property is cozy but has everything a couple needs. Easy to find, very quiet, spectacular views. Very comfortable. We plan to return when we can!

Literally you feel like you are on a ship cottage. Looking out the windows you appear to be "out to sea". It's not until you step out on the porch and look down to the rocks below you realize you aren't. Breathtaking views and sounds! For anyone who loves to sleep to the sound of the ocean, this place is it! Anywhere in the house, you hear the ocean breaking gently on the rocks. I have never slept so sound and yet awoke so early and refreshed to see the sun rising over the sea. The loft was our favorite for sleeping. The cottage itself was quaint. Small, warm, inviting, cozy and perfect for us for a week get away to DISCONNECT from the outside. We arrived about 2 weeks prior to Boothbay opening for the season but that was wonderful for us...we got to quietly explore the area and the landscape. This area is as close to my beloved magical Scottish Highlands and the North Sea as I can find in the states. The scattered islands around, boats going by out in the distance, birds singing all day, a harbor seal that visited daily and the serene night sky with full moon and glittering star was blissfully serene. The cottage is pleasantly decorated with soft greys and whites, small details of love in little things like the front door etchings and fireplace stone. It is very clean w/a fully stocked kitchen. Everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and some dinners while there. Updated appliances. The gas fireplace added a perfect ambiance to the cool Maine weather in the early morns watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee and the evenings playing chess (we brought our own) with a cup of tea or glass of wine. Cell service was almost nonexistent IN the cottage but WiFi worked well. It was perfect for us because we did not want anything to disrupt our peace with nature that week. We worked on a puzzles, read books both of which the cottage has along w radio/CDs and some movies as well as a nice pair of binoculars which we used all week to scan the coast. Great for professional photo taking which we did as well. The road by cottage is perfect length for an early morn walk/exercise along coast, woods, back waters. It's close enough to dining and town should anything be needed with a nice grocery store and fine food market nearby carrying upscale wine/craft brews. We are talking of booking already for next year we loved it that much! A wild Maine coast lover's dream with all the amenities of being in the mountains! Perfect!

This house is perfect- fabulous location, tastefully decorated, high end kitchen gear, cozy and comfy. Check in was simple and the place delivered everything promised!

The house is wonderful, right on the ocean with fantastic views. The house is secluded and quiet. The instructions by the owner were easy to follow, the same applies to the house electronics. As a small suggestion, the internet speed could be enhanced.

Absolutely beautiful sunrises, stunning views overall, and a clean and well-provisioned home. We stayed for a week in December, and are already talking about what it would be like to stay there in warmer months.

Super comfortable, filled with light, beautifully decorated with lots of care, all amenities, view to die for - sunrise, moonrise, water forever. You'll never want to leave.

I really hate giving this property such a good review as it will be booked up when we want to travel again. And yep....as I look my dates for next year are unavailable. Ugh. The really good rentals you want to keep to yourself...Love the fall in Maine. And this location is ideal. Spent numerous hours just starting out onto the water. Did a couple of day driving adventures, but spent most of our time at the house or walking in the are. Once you are there you will understand. Very well equipped kitchen. Every utensil you could want at your fingertips. Loved the cookware as well. Plenty of books around. Fireplace was a great focal point. TV works, but didn't feel the need to use. We have to come back. Well worth the five plus hour drive. Thank you for having us!
