Amazing inn- super clean, super comfortable (with good shower pressure), easy check-in/check-out, fantastic location (so close to New Harbor and great little towns), and super friendly staff (Steve!). Wish I had stayed longer!!

Steve was the most amazing host we've met in our 40 plus years of travel! Even though we arrived after hours he made a Point to show up and greet us upon arrival. The Inn is very beautiful, each and every room. The screened in porch was very inviting and the banana bread, fresh coffee and specialty teas were amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was super comfortable and lovely. We've never had a more pleasant stay. I would give this Inn a 20 Star review if I could. Look no further than this beautiful Inn for the perfect stay.

We were there for all of five minutes when we knew we’d want to return. Steve is a wonderful innkeeper—friendly, helpful, and makes great banana bread! We loved our room—clean, spacious, private bath, plenty of drawer and hanger space. The low-key lounge and porch areas were great places to have a bite of food (brought in) or spend a couple of quiet hours reading. All around, a great experience.

We loved our stay at Hawks House Inn. Steve was friendly and informative and gave us ideas and areas to visit locally. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden, and sitting in the evenings watching the hummingbirds. We would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

My first time so it was a learning experience at an inn

I had the perfect stay at the Hawks House Inn. I throughly enjoyed sitting in the enclosed porch drinking my coffee while listening to the morning song birds. Steve is an excellent innkeeper. The inn is in an ideal location to explore mid coast Maine.

Steve, the Innkeeper was most welcoming to his impeccable old house inn. He extended his genuinely gracious warmth to each person with typical NE polite restraint. The breakfast was simple with hot beverages and homemade banana bread. Each guest room had access to the mini kitchen w/ refrig in large but cozy dining area. The lovely garden was delightfully welcoming, homey and unpretentious. You could not go wrong staying at Hawks House Inn.

Great little inn with plenty of charm and character! It’s easy to tell that a lot of heart and soul has been put into the place. The inn keeper also couldn’t have been any nicer, lovely service! Such a sweet touch with homemade banana bread in the morning. Highly recommend!

This quaint inn is immaculate and Steve ( the Innkeeper) is friendly and accommodating!! Very comfortable bed and linens. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the beautiful, peaceful back garden where we were visited by hummingbirds.

This was our favorite place we stayed on our trip to Maine. We loved it so much that we considered canceling another booking elsewhere! The property is serene, immaculate, idyllic, and just what we needed. Steve was a superb host and made us feel welcome and cared for. Could not ask for a better inn!

Charming, cozy inn with common areas for lounging.

A very comfortable old fashioned farm house, steep stairs, lovely gardens, nice screened porch for reading or having a meal. Steve sets out morning coffee and banana bread but the kitchen is well set up with refrigerators for your own food and a microwave to warm up your meals purchased elsewhere. In nearby Damariscotta there are restaurants and a terrific coop grocerty story.
