This was our second time staying in this unit, and we’re so glad we did! It’s clean, beautifully decorated and located just steps from the beach. Linda was also very quick to respond, and provided easy arrival instructions. We’ll definitely be back!

Bday weekend
overall, we had a great time! The instructions to access the unit were easy. There were clear instructions inside the unit on how to utilize tv, fans; etc. We also appreciated extra towels and beach towels/chairs. Linda was very responsive and had a welcome bday card. It was very thoughtful and set a great tone for the weekend.

mother/daughter pre-wedding weekend
Just the absolute best! It was a very short-notice getaway, and it was perfect! Linda was very accommodating and even delivered flowers for my daughter. The space was clean, cozy, well managed, and perfectly located. Hope to return next year!

We had the best time at the condo. It was very nicely kept and Linda was very accommodating and made everything a breeze. The location was so close to the beach, restaurants, and shops.

Perfect stay for a weekend by the beach
The unit was super clean and cute. It had everything we needed and the property manager was very flexible and attentive. The proximity to the beach, train and the town make it ideal for a weekend by the beach with the kids. Barely had to get into the car and just loved it. Will definitely come back.

We loved the location. The kitchen was great, had anything you'd need to cook. There was parking available which was nice too. The decor was nice. And the property host was very nice. Liked the fire pit out front as well.

Our stay at Playa lodging was the perfect getaway with a perfect location near the beach.
Overall, I wonderful experience. We rented the place to celebrate my bday fir the weekend. Linda was so thoughtful and had a beautiful boutique of flowers & a lovely bday card waiting upon our arrival. The unit was very clean & great location. The one bedroom is perfect for two adults but no more than that as it is not much bigger than a studio. We loved the outdoor patio area, with the fire pit & large teak patio table was great to enjoy the outdoors. Property had a wonderful garage filled with all the kinds of necessities (bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards etc). We had a great time & would recommend this place to others for sure!

The location of this unit was absolutely perfect. Steps from the beach! The unit was clean, well stocked, and and beautiful. We didn’t need to contact her often, but Linda was so easy to work with when communication was needed. Already looking forward to coming back for stay.

Great location for a getaway!
This perfectly appointed condo is in a great location in the chill beach community of Carpenteria. Less than a block from the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops- made for a great 3 day weekend! We will be back!

High-End Beach Getaway at it's BEST!
One word describes this rental: AMAZING!
Not only is the rental appointed with high-end furnishings, but also top-of-the-line appliances, electronics, bedding and linens. Every kitchen gadget you could want was provided. The floor plan is spacious and extremely efficiently designed. You didn't feel as though you're in a rental at all, but a high-end hotel (minus the crowds and staff). The spacious private courtyard with fire pit is an added bonus! And a block from the beach - what could beat that!
Most importantly was the support and attentiveness of Linda. She ensured our stay was above-and-beyond and addressed any issue with immediate attention and responsiveness. We cannot say enough great things about her and this rental.
We'll definitely be going back.

Great little 1 bdrm a block from the beach. The best part of this place is the location and the front patio with fire pit and grill. Nicely furnished and new appliances. Perfect for a couple or family with a kid.

First of all, Linda was very easy to work with. She provided a cell phone number and was very quick to respond to any of our questions. There were so many thoughtful details throughout the property. A beach umbrella was provided, beach chairs, beach towels, tar remover and cotton pads. All of the appliances are modern and easy to work. We enjoyed the fire pit every evening.
We plan on staying again!

Our stay in Carpinteria
Very comfortable space. Close to the beach and town for quick enjoyable walks. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to other family members and friends. The gas fire pit was great for outdoor table games in the evening. Added a nice touch and provided some heat. Linda Kitt the property manager was super. Quick response when we had questions. Overall a terrific experience.

Mid week break
4 days during the week was great here. Short walk to the beach and everything you need is provided. Good restaurants nearby . Large enough porch for a small socially distant gathering. Very comfortable and manager is available with answers to questions.
