Amazing place close to the ocean!

Beautiful home, Beautiful location.

I brought 8 employees to this house for a team retreat. The views are incredible, the house is very large, and the beach is incredibly close (only a 5 min walk). I would definitely recommend this house for larger adult parties or family trips.

The photos on VRBO don’t do this home justice! When we walked in, we were amazed by the view of the beach and Haystack Rock. Very large well appointed kitchen. Glass doors to deck could use shades. It was quite bright while eating dinner at the table. So helpful having adjoining bathrooms off the bedrooms! Yes, there is a security camera in kitchen, but we covered it with paper towels and forgot about it. Very relaxing place to stay with our group of 10!

The property was very nice and secluded from the high traffic of tourists. Just a mile away from our beach gathering. It was a 10+ Thank you.

We celebrated an anniversary with eight family members ranging from 13 to 73. The house was great and afforded plenty of space and amazing ambience and views. We recommend this house.

Immaculately clean. Well thought out for guests. Everything we could need was there or not far in distance. The view was amazing. Owner was responsive and great with communication. Beautiful beach to hang out. Really enjoyed exploring the surrounding towns. Shops, restaurants and very friendly people. Even attended a hometown 4th of July parade. Overall great memorable trip for our family.

We loved our time here. Every need was anticipated and our time together was perfect.

The views of the beach were incredible. The property was in good repair for the most part, but there were a few spots that needed some touch up. The roof was un accessible, but the front deck views were almost as good. There was one camera in the space, but it was easy enough to cover up while we stayed there. The cleaner arrived right at checkout so make sure to be ready by then. You are only allowed 2 garbage bags for the duration of your stay so plan accordingly. The beach is a bit of a walk from the house (7 min) up and down a steep hill, but the seclusion from the rest of Cannon beach is well worth it. Overall, it was a huge house with great views, clean and well taken care of. A great blank slate for any gathering!

Nice, clean, large home, well equipped with everything you would need, including a well-stocked kitchen --- except didn't have a Keurig machine;) Spectacular full ocean view! Loved the private location of the house, while still being very close to town. While visiting Haystack Rock, we could actually see the house up on the hill! Dishwasher worked and was quiet, but the top rack kept falling off the track, even when it wasn't pulled out very far --- made it difficult to load and unload the cups. There's a note on the dishwasher with the warning, but hopefully it will get fixed soon. We didn't like the fact that the security camera remains on in the kitchen, with view of kitchen and main living room. We were warned about it and was told we could cover it, as it was just there for when the house is vacant --- however, it was too high, and we weren't sure how to cover it. Not sure why the owner couldn't just turn it off when guests are there --- just felt uncomfortable that we were being recorded and could be watched. Thought the rate was awfully high, compared to similar other large, ocean front homes that we've stayed in (we stay in large ocean front homes every year over new years). But we settled with paying this higher rate, as we booked late for a holiday weekend and there weren't many ocean front options still available. Other than these slight negatives, we loved our visit and would recommend this house!

Maybe the most fantastic view on the coast. As you walk into the house and look to the right, you have an unobstructed view of Haystack Rock. The house is well furnished with plenty of lounging space for large groups. Ground level front door for ease of entrance. A very short drive (10 )min to downtown Cannon Beach for all amenities. Take time(1 hr drive) to go to Astoria. Goutam, the property manager, was very attentive and quick to respond to questions. A great, trouble free stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home!! The views are amazing.

Beautiful view and mostly private location are wonderful. Able to hear the ocean at high tide. The en suite layout was nice! Owner was polite and reasonable to communicate with.

This house is huge. We traveled with 11 people and had more than enough room. The kitchen is able to accommodate several cooks and observers all at the same time. There was plenty of kitchen items to cook meals for all 11 of us. However it could be improved by getting rid of so many duplicate items and a really good cleaning of the drawers. Also if you are picky about your knives take a few favorites with you. We found about a dozen knives but only one that could cut. Also the dishwasher leaked the first time we used it and after that hand washed our dishes. This was not a new occurrence as several family members looked under the dishwasher and noticed long term warping of the wood surrounding the dishwasher. We got together last night as a family and discussed much about the rental so I could write this review. Some family members thought, as others have mentioned of the lack of items to make you feel you were home instead of a Motel 6. However we understand the challenge of making it feel like home and having people walk off with items. There is a slight spider issue. I noticed in the garage that there was a bug spray that would be used around your home. This is the second time using rental homes near water that there are bug issues. I think professional exterminates are needed in these types of places. The basement had odds and ends of paint, tools and other objects that we felt were a hazard to the youngest of our group, a 4 year old. We just locked the door to this area and it was off limits to everyone. It would have been nice to have an outside garbage container. We just stacked the garbage in the garage but this is a magnet for mice etc. Over all I would recommend this vacation rental and hope that our comments help the owner to see what improvements can be made it make it a five star rental.

Unless you are absolutely, positively needing to be right on the beach, this is a superior house and location. The property has an outstanding view of the beach and Haystack Rock; easy access to beach parking and the main thoroughfare (Hemlock St) through Cannon Beach. Goutam, the property owner, is extremely pleasant and communicates clearly the expectations for the house. I had easy and frequent contact with Goutam before, during, and after our stay. I most highly recommend this marvelous house to anyone with children and extended family — and for all people for that matter. We had a super visit.

We had a wonderful stay at the house and couldn’t get over the views from every room in the house. The house is close to town with all the amenities needed. The property own was great to work with and was very accommodating! We are looking forward to our next stay and recommending it to all of our friends!

The house is beautiful! The view is the best! Don't go looking for IT connections. Wi-Fi is sketchy and cell tower was down during our visit. The owners were very precise with instructions so we didn't have to communicate much.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home, and couldn’t get enough of the breathtaking views of haystack rock from the main floor and the balcony.

As others have mentioned, this property has a great view of the coast, but is not luxurious in its appointments. Dining table is in need of replacement. WiFi is not good and cell service isn’t great either. There is at least one camera inside the property. The owner is very meticulous about his property. He called after booking to ask about our party, my profession and asked if we’d take care of his home. He owns the property adjacent to this one as well which appeared empty. We had an issue while we were there where the gate to the property was closed when we didn’t close it and a bed was made that we didn’t make. The owner did tell us the he closed the gate but was not in the home. We were also not comfortable with the check out instruction asking that used blankets and sheets be put back into their original local as we felt those items should be laundered before the next guests so we left them out to indicate they had been used. Overall, this is a great location and very walkable to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at the property as it has lots of space and was able to accommodate our large group. The view of Haystack Rock is amazing from most rooms and the wrap around deck off the living room/kitchen. And the beach is a short walk away. We would stay here again.

Breath taking view of the Pacific Ocean and Haystack Rock. Easy drive into town or beach. Nice four bedrooms all with bathrooms so perfect for four couples. Huge wrap around deck to soak up the ocean experience. TV didn't work and the stove had issues but a nice stay for us overall.

The house was very well appointed with all of the necessities (ie. towels, bedding, kitchen supplies) There was plenty of room for everyone and it was a comment by everyone that it was terrific to have a bathroom with every bedroom. There were many other sleeping areas provided outside of the bedrooms and we could have easily accommodated more people. If there was an drawback it was the tv/wi-fi service, it was spotty at best and we were not able to hook up our laptop/tablet as instructed in the manual. If you are looking for fancy decor and deck furniture you will be disappointed but the house was very comfortable and the procimity to the beach was reasonable. The hardest part of the walk is down the driveway and it is a bit of a hike back up the hill. Overall it was a very good stay and we would come back.

Collected a group of friends for a beach trip here; we had a wonderful time on the balcony, playing ping pong and going to the beach. Roof inaccessible, but the primary balcony is perfect.

This lovely property has a stunning view of Haystack Rock. The home is spacious. Each bedroom has an attached full bath. This property was a great place for our family to gather and spend quality time with one another.

The home was as described and reviewed by the past users. It is very large with each of the four bedrooms having their own bathroom and the views from the spacious kitchen/dining/living rooms towards Haystack Rock are super! Other than a few minor correctable items, we really enjoyed our stay.

The views of the home are amazing and the property manager was very prompt and passionate about his home. If I am to be honest, the home however, is very over priced for what you would get in Cannon Beach in my opinion. The amenities should be high end and available like TV’s in the bedrooms, good kitchen ware, and the home in pristine condition. The sliding screen door was busted and difficult to open which is the main door to access the deck. The carpet in the home is pretty stained and has an old odor. Overall the house is very outdated and needs to be remodeled for that price. The house literally sits on the main highway 101 and all you can hear is the highway traffic when you sit outside. Again, great views of Cannon Beach but the home needs defiantly needs attention and upgrades

The property has a most beautiful ocean view and is walking distance to a quiet, beautiful beach. We had a very relaxing week here. The kitchen was well stocked (though, as always, bring cooking oil). Despite good seclusion and privacy of the house, there is a market about 10 minutes away and plenty of good takeout within a 25 min drive. Our two complaints were: 1. All the upholstery smelled very dusty. Bed pillows and blankets, throw pillows etc. It was off-putting enough we went to beat our pillows outside to get some dust out so we could sleep better. At this price point, an extra visit from the cleaners prior to guest arrival to freshen things up would be expected if there has been no activity there for a long time. 2. There is no hot tub! We specifically searched for a property with a hot tub and that's checked as a feature on VRBO. There is not one. There is a jacuzzi in the main bedroom's bathroom which is not the same thing. The owner is very communicative. Some might find it offputting but we completely understand the need to understand who is staying at your property.
