This was a great property located in a beautiful historic district. It was centrally located between all of the attractions - Churchill Downs, U of L, downtown and NuLu neighborhood and just 10 minutes from the airport. The house was very clean and well kept and perfect for two couples. The owner was great to work with. I would definitely rent this property again.

First of all, owner was so sweet and provided great communication! Second, the rooms are so beautiful and comfortable!! Felt like you had your own little apartment! Location is so close to so many places to check out and enjoy while in Louisville. Highly recommend!

Cheryl thought of everything in her 2 units. Very clean and full of character. Easy to hop over to the Bourbon Trail and Louisville Slugger Museum.

This place is a true gem. It is in a central location close to downtown, Churchill Downs, etc. The accommodations were perfect with very comfortable bedding, high quality linens, towels, etc. Cheryl was an amazing host and makes the room feel so much like home. If you are looking for a centralized location from which to see Louisvillle, look no further!

We were impressed with the size this rental, basically it is 2 small apartments, which was nice for two couples. We enjoyed everything and would stay here again! The apartments are quaint and homey. Location is on a quiet historic street, although some airplane noise being close to the airport. Not too much to eat in a walking distance so we did have to drive or Uber all weekend. Everything was as expected and Cheryl was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed being tourists in Louisville, thanks Cheryl!

Beautiful stay!

Our stay was great! Cheryl greeting us at the door and showed us the properties which was 2 small 1 bedroom apartments. Beds were very comfortable. Cheryl had everything you need for your stay including great linens, towels, toiletries, etc. She responded well to our questions. Cheryl decorated very nicely. I would certainly stay at this property again!

We enjoyed staying in the little apartment-like rooms of this old brick home. We enjoyed the architecture of the neighborhood and remembering its glory days. The rooms are super clean and efficient for a stay. The beds are AWESOME! Super comfortable. We even did a little cooking in the kitchen and enjoyed a meal in at the counter bar while watching TV. Had everything we needed. Will stay again.

This place surpassed our expectations. Our host thought of everything, our rooms were immaculate, and she was so welcoming. The beds were comfortable, and no amenities were lacking. We had no problem finding on street parking, and there were bars and restaurants within walking distance. The home is beautiful and yard lovely. We will definitely book again for any future trips to Louisville for concerts and events.

We had a wonderful stay in Louisville at this beautiful property! The house is gorgeous!! It was well kept, clean, and all the little extras around the house added such a special touch. The backyard is a beautiful spot to sit and have morning coffee or enjoy an evening cocktail. And Cheryl is an absolute doll!! The house is located close to everything that we wanted to do so it was easy for us to drive or get an Uber/Lyft anywhere we needed to go. We loved our stay here and can't wait to come back for another visit! Thank you!!!

This property is An ideal place for two couples. Quiet enough to have wine and cheese on the patio, pretty enough for morning walks and close enough for inexpensive Uber rides. Cheryl is a great host meeting us at the property to show us around. She also gave tips of what to see and where to eat. Thanks to Cheryl for opening her home and making a reunion with old friends a great experience.

WOW is all the four of could say when we walked in! Beautiful home and the two suites were nothing but perfect! Decorated fabulously, clean as could be and had everything one would need! The pictures were spot on and the back yard gardens were even better in person. We spent a simply wonderful Saturday morning lounging in the back yard garden catching up on life with our dear friend. You can not ask for a better location! Only few mins from main down town strips of entertainment, But you came home to a quite neighbor hood to rest. The Host: What a wonderful lady Cheryl is.... greeted you with her warm smile and you felt welcomed as family. She has everything there you will need. Great suggestions for local hang outs too. A MUST go to local Tavern! Fabulous food, better drinks and owner and waitresses became our new friends! love it so much we went back three times! Home is mins for everything! You will not find a better place to stay in Louisville!! Huge Thank You tp Cheryl for allowing us to share her home, gardens and cute puppies! We will be back for sure!!! We loved Cheryl's place. It exceeded our expectations. It was a perfect stay for two couples who wanted to both travel in Louisville together and have their own space to rest and relax. The home is spotless and their the landscaping is gorgeous. We definitely plan to return.

Beautiful old home in Old Louisville. Great accommodations for 2 couples. The apartments were very clean and very well equipped. We really enjoyed our happy hour cocktails in Cheryl’s backyard which is lovely and walking to some nearby restaurants in the evenings. The location was extremely convenient overall. Cheryl was a great host and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

The house is charming, and Cheryl was very helpful and easy to deal with. The arrangement of two separate apartments next to each other was very convenient for two couples. It is in a central location that was a convenient base for exploring the city and visiting our daughter, very quiet, with easy parking. It's a good area of for walking around Old Louisville and ogling the old mansions. There is not much in the way of restaurants or stores in the immediate area, but it is not far from anything you need. The apartments are comfortable, immaculate, and well-equipped, and we appreciated the water, soda, and Keurig coffee, although we didn't try to cook any meals. The only thing I could suggest was some additional bowls for breakfast cereal and perhaps better lighting for reading in bed. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely come back again.

Great place for two couples. Loved the space. Loved the historical architecture. The owner was super friendly and accommodating.

We were 2 couples meeting in Louisville for a weekend of fun and found this home on VRBO. The house has a lot of rich history and it is obvious the owner takes great pride in it. We actually had 2 separate apartments on the second floor, but next to each other, so 2 completely furnished small apartments, each with kitchen, bath and bedroom. That was very nice. We managed with a gathering place around the kitchen island in one of the apartments, which was large enough. The place was so quiet, which was a nice surprise, especially being on a busy road. We walked all over Old Louisville from the apartment, enjoying St James Court, etc. The apartments were VERY clean, spotless actually, and very neat and tidy, almost like they were brand new and very well equipped. Cheryl was very responsive to our needs, emails, texts, etc. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

This historic home in Historic Louisville is a one of a kind. The owner Cheryl takes great pride in the home and it's very well taken care of. Owned by a family that originally owned the property in that area, the house is the first in it's neighborhood. The home was nicely furnished with updated furniture and colors, but kept much of the original design. We came with another couple which suited us perfectly because the bedrooms where on the same floor with separate units and bathrooms. The back yard was a beautiful garden where we could enjoy coffee and down time. Cheryl met us when we got there and filled us in on Louisville and what to do. She also made sure that bottled water, coffee, towels, and toiletries were available. The use of Uber made all the downtown sights just a few minutes away. Cheryl is a super nice friendly person that we enjoyed talking to. Cheryl lives downstairs, but a separate stairway to our rooms was easy to get to and gave a feeling of separation. We highly recommend staying with Cheryl. Loved our commendations.

We loved staying at this house! I didn't realize when booking that there were multiple apartments in the house but everyone was great! Note: there are a lot of stairs to walk up to get to your apartment. The rooms themselves were very nice and clean! We felt like home while we were there! Would definitely stay there again.

This property is perfect for two couples. There are two apartments, both very nicely appointed and comfortable. The larger apartment has a large snack bar where we could all gather. Cheryl made us feel very welcome, from the coffee and bottled water to the extra toiletries. Cheryl also gave us lots of ideas for eating out and exploring, which made for a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this property!

We stayed here for two nights and each couple had their own bedroom, kitchen and bath, nice to have a break after a day together. The beds were comfy, the shower and baths great! Location was perfect! Thanks for providing such a beautiful house to stay in!

Cheryl could not have been nicer nor more helpful, (great suggestions for eating...."Burger Boy" and "Old Louisville Tavern" ). The two apartments worked out nicely for two couples. Each had their own privacy, bathroom, key, etc. Even though the four of us played together, the separation was great for down time. Cheryl provided all the comforts of home......we felt truly so comfortable. Both apartments were clean and inviting. Thank you. We either walked or used Uber/Lyft to get around especially with all the many wonderful Bourbon's to try. Location is great. We even walked to the downtown area, (Market Street District) and do try Harvest Restaurant and (the global Rally Against Guns). Can't wait for our next visit. Great find! This was the perfect place to stay for our long weekend in Louisville. The apartment is convenient to most attractions and is well suited for two couples. It's actually two apartments next door to each other, both with a private bedroom, bath and kitchenette. Each couple had their own space. And, Cheryl was a wonderful host and made sure it was stocked with amenities. We'll definitely be back!
