The room and resort was good

The resort did not tell us, even in the resort policy on the website that we could not bring alcohol beverage and snack to the resort. (Because they sell it) And it was not polite that the resort worker open our bags without permission. This was our bad experience.

Для полного счастья нам не хватило кофе из кофе-машины. Алкогольные коктейли на ужине были не очень вкусные, не советуем их брать. В остальном, всё супер!

All the staff are really nice and helpful. Ate nikki is very welcoming and like a mother. The view is beautiful. Piña colada is the best cocktail i had.

lets start where we stayed 3 nights,which is great,i'll score the experience 10/10 .Then when we extended another day and that is where everything is a disaster.They wanted us to transfer to another room because IT IS THEIR PREFERENCE AND IT IS CONVINIENT FOR CUESTAS which should not be the case.You dont transfer room unless there is a major problem in the room,but everything is going well to us but for cuestas its not because they need to accomodate 2 family together in 2 deluxe room which is our room.I asked why we need to transfer, Their reason?because we are extending night.So my question,if we didnt extend our stay and lets say its a normal 4nights,do you still have the guts to transfer us to another room when in fact we have the right since we didnt EXTEND?it doesnt make sense,oh and by the way,the one who decided for us to transfer is the owner itself which dont have any hospitality qualities and doesnt know how to answer or react properly when problems arise.You dont say to an angry customer that "I'll tell you a funny story",nothing is funny right now and let me tell you something,you dont answer to customer as if we are in fault. So we said yes we will transfer,problem is we have an excursion to deal with at 4am,and they wanted us to move 4am?good thing they offered help,okay problem solved.We came back,tired and exhausted,we were in the new room and it was horrible,yes it got a proper view but its the worst room,showers are not properly working,television not working and insects and lizards inside the room.I understand that insects and lizards are expected but obviously lizard will not stay in our place if there are no insects.So we asked the staff to clean it for us which is really nice of them.You will notice how uncomfortable staff are when their boss is around,i wonder why. Oh and by the way,the only hotel I visited without a phone.

Within our 3,5 weeks traveling to the Philippines 🇵🇭 on 7 different islands Cuestas Beach Resort has by far been the best hotel. Amazing natural construction, directly at the beach, very big and clean pool, coffee and kettle at the rooms, each room with a wonderful terrace with an amazing garden and sea view, the owners (Mongs and Nigi) are absolutely lovely and helpful. The food was outrageous (thanks Tony!!!), all the staff was always smiling, laughing and extremely helpful. They saw me one day laying in the garden under a palm tree on my towel and brought me a sun bed mattress 🫶🏽. From the hotel all the excursions are very close (highly recommended the Canyoneering), in the hotel you can rent motor bikes. We just really loved to stay there.

We enjoyed our stay in Cuestas. The location is very nice and peaceful. The rooms were clean as well as the facilities. The staff and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. One of the best resorts we've ever been in Cebu. I would definitely recommend this place!

We had an amazing stay at Cuestas Beach Resort and Restaurant! Here's what we love: (Follow of FB Page Steadfast 360) 1. Serene environment 2. Big, clean pool with flowing water and mild chemical treatment 3. Clean and spacious Deluxe room with very quiet AC, comfortable bed and accessories 4. Hot and cold shower 5. Relaxing view from the balcony of our room 6. Free breakfast 7. Very accommodating staff and friendly owners And most importantly, VERY STRONG WIFI, even in our room!

We liked everything actually....We can't wait to be back. If there's something we didn't like, it'd probably be the beach because it was rocky. But it's totally fine because it still offers a relaxing view, especially during sunset.

Environment, cleanliness

Absolutely amazing resort. The owner did not forget about European prices, but he did about European standards. It is unthinkable that a gunman at the gate would take away a child's bottle of lemonade, which he brought from a trip with a warning that it is forbidden to bring his own drink and food into the premises. The breakfast is insufficient, without the possibility of diet food. Constant arguments when you bring anything to your bungalow. If you want to spend your vacation in prison and have overpriced services dictated to you, I recommend it. Otherwise, avoid this resort.

Our whole stay was amazing! Beautiful place to stay the air-conditioning room was very clean and the bed was very comfy to slept on. The swimming pool was huge. The only thing I can say how I wish we can bring a bit of food and drinks inside the vicinity. Will definitely come back again!

Faultless

Nice location with a reasonable sized swimming pool. The food seemed a little expensive at first, but then when we received the orders, the portion sizes on some dishes were very big, so the next time we did not need to order one dish for each of us. Staff were excellent....very helpful and efficient, responding quickly to a couple of unforeseen issues in one of our rooms.

There is no 'beach', as in actual sand, so the name 'Beach Resort' is a little misleading. This seems to be normal though for any resort next to the sea. Still we had a nice time exploring the shallow waters at low tide.

The staff were exceptional and made us feel welcomed and at home! The resort is very beautiful. I love the atmosphere and the location of the rooms. It’s serene and quiet and you can hear the birds chirping in the morning. They let you pay for everything at check out, so you can just grab lunch and have it billed to your room and pay for it at check out. That also includes all the activities you want to do as well. We did canyoneering and rented a scooter from there! everything was just hassle free and beautiful!

the shower can get a bit of an upgrade as it can get really messy and wet - the shower curtains were also making it hard to shower properly as it was being flimsy everywhere

The resort is so beautiful down the hill with an AMAZING pool. The cabana we stayed in was like a doll house and the kids loved it. The owner and family received us very well. It is a short distance by tricycle to the nearest 7/11 and 10 min maximum to the canyoneering site.

It was a bit hot and the 2 fans were not enough to cool down the room. But we were 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) in about 20sqm.

This property is amazing- the pool is lovely particularly at night. The kitchen is amazing with great food and the staff are super helpful.

The place is amazing and peaceful. The chef cooked delicious food for us. The owners were very friendly and they assisted us with our tours. The staff was nice and good service. We really enjoyed our time in this resort! ☺️

The location is amazing but not very close to the main town about 20/30min by transport (buses are not reliable), so you need to rent a scooter if you want to move around. The vegan options at the restaurant could be improved just adding alternative milk for breakfast or use tofu and lentils or beans for main dishes.

Family run place. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, we got to spend a little bit of time chatting with them and it was a real pleasure. Very chilled and cozy vibes. Food was really delicious and the view is quite scenic, especially at sunset.

Beds were a little bit too soft for our taste. TV wasn't working. Overall, just minor details that didn't really affect our stay.

Such delicious foods, alot of choice 9n the menu. Very friendly staff providing a helpful service. +250mbps internet speeds. Beautiful location, calm. The entire stay is well maintained and cleaned.
