19th Par 2 - character villa with golfing green - newly renovated!
Tucked away just off the main road, this character 2 level villa, is tastefully decorated with all the home comforts including a sauna too! The well-equipped 6-bedroom / 3 bathroom villa is set amidst a beautifully landscaped 2 acre garden.
Perfect for large family gatherings with three generous king size rooms and three cozy loft-style rooms (please note the roof height in these loft rooms is lower than normal). Configuration of super king and king single beds can be changed to suit your group. There are three bathrooms and no restriction on water as the property has its own bore and gas hot water.
Entertain in the stylish alfresco dining/barbeque area, where youll find a barbeque and sauna, or relax in the intimate living area, complete with fireplace, 36 plasma tv and home theatre entertainment system.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no Freeview or Sky BUT the entertainment options for the TV are vast! There is chromecast, Netflix, TVNZ and TV3 on demand apps, BBC, CNN, Plex and Spotify all on the Blueray player. If you have a netflix account you can sign in and likewise with Spotify and with the house having unlimited wifi you can always just stream all your content through the chromecast.

We had family ranging from 6 to 76 staying at the bach. It has so many amenities and so much space that everyone had an amazing time. We enjoyed the use of the Sauna and the kids played a lot of golf. Will definitely be back

The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and well equipped. Two of the bedrooms where huge with large windows. The upstairs bedrooms were almost unusable - expect for children - very steep stairs, low ceiling and were extremely hot.
The stay was spoiled by the massive amount of mosquito's despite taken all precautions - plug in, repellant, patches everyone got serverely bitten and made the stay uncomfortable.

We had an amazing time. Our group of 8 ladies enjoyed a weekend away from family, children and pets! We had a fabulous time all around - Sauna such a plus! Everything is newly renovated and the kitchen is just enormous and equipped with everything you need for a larger group. 100% perfect!

Big old villa
This was a good spot for a big group, our golf fans were pretty excited about the putting green and we made good use of the outdoor area.
3 huge rooms but the other 3 were very small. The house is old and dated but if you’re happy with that then it’s fine. In a nice quiet, remote area, we really needed the mozzie spray though!

Happy Family getaway
We all had a great time, the children really enjoyed the golf and swings, the garden is beautiful as are the fruit trees. Older style villa with many quirky features. The beds were very comfortable and the villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Great Private Getaway
The photos don't do the space justice as it's quite big! Well equipped kitchen to be able host your own meals. Would highly reocommend for a big group stay :)
Only downside was the filtered tap water tap didn't really work and it wasn't mentioned not to drink just the tap water.

Winter group stay
Overall a good experience except the bedding. It was cold and the duvets supplied were very thin. I had to get a local friend to drop us off some blankets. The blinds in one of the bathrooms did not go all the way down and so we sat on the toilet and showered in front of a window to the garden. The lighting in the place was a little too dim which was not so good for playing games, reading or even cooking in the kitchen. However, the setting and size was great. The fireplace was wonderful and needed. We had fun with the golf and had room for all of us comfortably.

Long Weekend Getaway
Our group of friends really loved this house! Created very happy memories. The mini golf onsite, pétanque in the driveway, all accompanied by the best cocktails. The house is an ideal layout for home entertaining.. we really enjoyed it and would love to return.

Family early Xmas
As our family is now grown and work from Wellington to Bay of Islands and in between. We try to get together as close to Xmas as possible. There was 12 of us staying. It catered for us all and we could spend quality time together.

Perfect for mid winter Xmas
Had a few families together for a weekend. House was perfect for this, nice big fireplace with lots of firewood, plenty of seating in dining area. The golf green was a fun way to spend an hour or two whilst having a few beers.

Beautiful
The property is stunning. Generous size bedrooms and the kitchen is very well stocked on utensils.
My only complaint is that the listing says there is a Sauna, which we were all very excited about, only to be told it is no longer operational!

An oasis away from the bustle of the city
We had a wonderful stay with my family and some friends at this beautiful home. Large, spacious and well kitted out, this place is perfect for large groups and families looking for a break away from the city. Close to everything including the shops and the beach, but set back from the main road so you can enjoy your peace and quiet. This was our second time staying here and no doubt we will be coming back again soon. 10 out of 10

The amenities where all working ,spa pool , sauna etc . Everything was perfect and couldn't have asked for better . The place was accumulate inside and out .

The house was amazing.
The house was amazing. The outdoor living space, as long with the little golf course can offer hours of entertainment. Except for a few things that weren't working, and we were given prior notice about it, our trip was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Our family stayed here for Easter. The property has great potential but it is very run down. So many things were either broken, missing, or didn't work. The outdoor bar area had broken floorboards, unusable as too dangerous. Most of the outdoor umbrellas were broken. the outdoor eating area would have been great to have had the missing shade sail. Windows hadn't been cleaned for months. Mattresses and pillows we're filthy. wouldn't recommend it until it had extensive maintenance.
