The location was close to Jr Otsuka station which had a lot of shops nearby.

Showers were good. Location was excellent! It was just a 5 minute walk to the Otsuka station. Neighborhood was nice and quiet with a few convenient stores nearby.

Though it was already mentioned during booking, we were still surprised that the room was very small with not much space to even open our luggage. The room was slightly dirty with some leftover objects from previous guests.

We don’t even know where to begin. When we arrived, we just dropped our suitcases before coming back again late at night, only to notice the unsanitary conditions of the room: mold everywhere in the bathroom, mold on the shower curtains, multiple stains on the towels, dust on the table and on the microwave, unpleasant smell in the bed. We also got rashes in the morning from sleeping in the bedding. There wasn’t even a “clean room” card to stick to the door for the next morning. When we went out the next day to complain, nobody at the reception. We asked the cleaning lady who was working next door if she could add our room to the cleaning list, because of the lack of tag, and we showed her the issues mentioned above. When we came back later (around noon), nothing had been done and she wasn’t there anymore. We went to the receptionist to complain about all the horrible things we noticed the previous night. He told us that if we wanted the room cleaned, we would have to pay. We were very clear that the room situation was clearly unsanitary and it was far from being ok, and that we wanted another room. This request was directly rejected, not from a lack of available room, but simply because this is not how it works. After negotiating for some time, he finally agreed to get our room cleaned, get the curtains changed, etc. Needless to say that when we came back, despite the room being indeed “cleaner”, some issues remained. I think they don’t even change the bed sheets when asked to, and just tidy the bed. This incident has been reported to booking.com. Out of the 7 hotels we stayed at during our trip here, we had absolutely nothing to complain about for 6 out of the 7. This hotel however shouldn’t even be called a hotel, this is an absolute shame.
