My husband and I brought our adult children with their spouses and three grandbabies to Carlsbad for a family getaway. This place was perfect. We all had our own rooms and bathrooms (keeping harmony in the family). The shared space was great. The home was very clean and had plenty of extra things to make us feel like we were right at home. We loved the pool! The location was amazing, we hardly had to drive anywhere. We walked to the "Village", to the beach, to the lagoons, to the bike paths, etc...
Cyndi was incredibly responsive throughout the whole rental process. I was so amazed at how quickly she responded to our correspondence. We would definitely rent this home again in the future!

The house is well kept, there is a lot of space to hang out , and it is a great location for a short drive to the beach, downtown Carlsbad, and legoland. The pool and spa were great! We spent a lot of time doing that. The master bedroom and bathroom is very nice. The additional studio above the garage is really great if you have multiple families and want a separate space.
Because the house accepts pets, the family room couch does have a little pet odor to it, but not so extreme that you couldn’t sit there. Overall, it was really nice. I would book again!

My work colleagues and I stayed at Cynthia's house this past week and the overall experience was exceptional. The house has everything that you need for several individuals to be comfortable, and we spent many hours enjoying the pool/spa/outdoor area. Would absolutely stay at this property again next time we are visiting Carlsbad!

We had a great time at this property. The location was perfect, a walk to the beach or a quick drive. The pool was lovely and enjoyed by all. There is lots of space for family to spread out when needed. All but one bedroom is upstairs so that could be an issue if mobility is an problem. Lots of parking for us - very appreciated as street parking was sometimes hard to find. We appreciated Cyndi checking with us and assisting with the pool. Highly recommend!

The house was much better than the pictures. Spacious, well appointed, clean and within easy walking and driving distance to the beach. Everyone had their own room.
My wife and I took our daughter’s family of 5 on this trip and we’d certainly stay here again!

It was a beautiful property. Just as described; in a convenient location. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. A great setting for a terrific family reunion. I highly recommend it.

This house is perfect for a large family to enjoy spending time together. The pool , spa and grassy area in the backyard work well for toddlers to seniors. . Inside there are two gathering areas plus plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and the wine cellar was a hit with the kids as their hideout, house, jail, and pirate den. We had a great week.

Epic time with the family! The house is great and all was awesome minus a few things that weren't working or were not in good shape. However, Cyndi was super responsive and accommodating with check in and other things in the house so this made our stay memorable!

11 of us, three generations, loved loved loved this house. Plenty of room to be together, and separate spaces for working too. The cousins spent hours together in the terrific pool, yard and big comfy family room. The owner was wonderfully responsive, answered our questions immediately and always had the pool heated for us when we requested it.

This is the perfect place for a large family to vacation together. Bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone! The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of dishes and cutlery. Tons of towels, extra pillows and blankets.
The living areas are spacious and comfortable. It was easy for everyone to find a comfortable spot to relax. Wifi supported all the people in the house too.
The pool area was the highlight for our family. Even though the weather wasn't great, the hot tub was toasty warm and the kids swam in the pool anyway. A quick dip back in the hot tub was all the needed to keep swimming.
Conveniently located 10 minute walk from Tamarack beach. Plenty of beach chairs and toys provided. Also conveniently located close to the freeway (perfect for day trips)... and Starbucks. Carlsbad town was about 15 minute walk away. Full of cute shops and restaurants.
Cyndi was helpful and really easy to reach. Communication was awesome!
Highly recommend this home as a comfortable, convenient and FUN place for a large group.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holidays! We were a family of 8 adults and had plenty of room to spread out. It was easy to make meals at home. We had wonderful weather and were able to use the jacuzzi in the large backyard. We were also able to walk into Carlsbad village (about a 20 minute walk). We would definitely stay at Cyndi"s place again!

Wonderful Place for Family Reunion
Our family met for a family reunion. There was plenty of room for everyone and less than a mile from Tamarack Beach. Wonderful Pool and spa. The communication was great with the owner. Would recommend this place.

Great house for Large Family or Multiple Families!! Lots of room to spread out!
We had a great time in Carlsbad. Location of the house was great! Pool and Spa were very nice. We were there with 3 families. My Family (2 adults 2 kids) My sisters family (2 adults and 2 kids) and my Parents (2 adults). We had plenty of room to spread out. Having 3 rooms with attached bathrooms was amazing! Having the 1 bedroom downstairs was great for my parents as they have a little more trouble with Stairs then we do. (although this does not have an attached bathroom).
The Kitchen has lots of pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc... We did not lack anything there.
The formal dinner table is a little high compared to the chairs so the kids had to sit at the table in the kitchen (so they could reach their plates) but I think they preferred that anyways! LOL
My husband and I actually stayed in the Studio apt above the garage. It was nice to be able to have the space to break away from everyone from time to time. The only minor things with this room was that, as in the whole house, there was no AC so the days it was 88 there it felt very warm in there. They do provide 2 fans but when they are both on high it's very loud. The main house felt much cooler with great cross breezes. The bed was also very loud when you just rolled over. Like a weird scrunching or Crinkle noise (not sure how to describe) But when 1 tosses and turns at night it tends to annoy the other person. lol
The bunk beds were awesome for the kids! They loved it! My Teenager also loved that he got his own room away from the Younger ones!!
This house had to shortage of rooms to spread out in!
The Backyard was very nice. The patio Chairs were a little worn but there were some extra chairs in the garage we were able to use. There wasn't enough light to eat outside at night but we could hang out and BBQ till we were ready to eat.
Kids loved coming back and swimming Day and night.
I had a hard time trying to work the pool and spa heater but Cyndi was SUPER HELPFUL and responsive every time I texted about ANYTHING!!
Overall we had a great Experience and would recommend this house to anyone!!

We have family that live in Valley Center this location was perfect for our visiting family and comfortable and homey for a nice dinner in!
We walked to the beach, several times each day. Lego land, zoo and flowers 😁
Yet more importantly time to just hang out and feel at home! The hosts were exceptional

Perfect Spring Break
We celebrated our spring break with our family of 12, including multiple generations from age 6-56. The house was perfectly accommodated us with spacious bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of comfortable seating. But the highlight was the pool, hot tub and yard. It’s beautiful and we spent most of our time while at the house outside. We loved the pool design and depth (7ft!) and the hot tub was the best. Walked to beach everyday and had a great time in downtown Carlsbad. Visit the glass gallery!

Great house - perfect location
Beautiful large house in a very quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking - great pool and spa. Close to beach and Carlsbad Village. Communications with the owner are the best I've experienced with VRBO rentals.

Boyz west coast trip !!!!!
Great place for our man cave west cause trip. House for all our needs. Great sitting outside the pool area. We toured San Diego and the surrounding areas. Visited the zoo and went to pats / chargers game in LA. And pats won. So was a perfect trip. Everyday started and ended at the house. Perfecto !!!!

Not clean and over priced.
House was not thoroughly cleaned. Upstairs guest suite carpet so dirty it made our friend's feet black when he walked barefoot on it. Downstairs coffee table dirty from previous guests. Saw 2 cockroaches in downstairs kitchen and there were dishes in dishwasher when we got there so we had to clean those. Stair bannister had thick layer of dirt that we had to clean. - a frequently touched surface that had not been cleaned in a while.

Fantastic family getaway close to major attractions, beach
If you are looking for a place for a family gathering, then this property offers it all. It is spacious, clean, has all kinds of amenities, provides everything needed for a vacation stay, and is close to major attractions, restaurants, the beach, and has easy freeway access. We had adults, children, and an infant and we had room to spare. The backyard is like an oasis. It is secluded and offers a beautiful pool, spa, night lights, and grass. We even brought our daughter's little dog, and Cyndi welcomed him with pets and a smile. She even came at night to help us with the spa. There is plenty of room to spread out, and nobody felt cramped. There was even a hidden guest retreat for our daughter, her husband, baby and little dog. They couldn't hear the rambunctious children or adults. This place is affordable, comfortable, easy to reach, close to all kinds of activities, and with a hostess who aims to please.

Stay was fine overall, upgrades would be good
We were looking for a place for our family of 10 to reconnect. The house had the right amount of space so that was a positive. The pool area was nice as well. In general, for the price we would have liked a bit more. The lights were very dim in most rooms, there are fans in each room but half don't work, or the plugs don't work and they're all dusty. The kitchen could be better stocked, and we found dirty Tupperware and some dirty dishes. We also kept finding random small things breaking - like the chair covers had duct tape. In short, there just needs to be general maintenance done on the house. I communicated once with owner to ask a question about the pool and had a quick response. Overall, we enjoyed our time together at the house but I think overpaid for what we got.

Great house for family vacations!
Cyndi is a great host, answering questions to prepare for our vacations quickly. The house is a quick walk to the beach, the pool and spa are amazing and the house has everything you need! Lots of beach toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, bicycles/helmets/bike locks, a wagon to transport kids snd so many more things to make the vacation like you are staying at your own house. You will not be disappointed!

Great house and convenient location.
This house worked well for my family vacation. There were plenty of beds for everyone and having the pool was nice. The location is great, my wife and I walked to the beach and downtown Carlsbad everyday.

Love the home and the location!
This rental was great. Very clean, open, and plenty of room for the family. The house is close to the beach and Legoland which was the reason we were in Carlsbad. The back yard was lovely with the pool and spa tub that warms up quickly. The owner was a kind and accommodating. We would stay there again.

Terrific Carlsbad Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
To have a great experience with a VRBO rental you really need to have
good communication with the owner. Cyndi was awesome. Quickly answered our questions and gave great suggestions. When I looked for a property in SOCAL I started with a list of things I really wanted. This house checked all of them. Safe and clean neighborhood. Close to beach or beach front. Heated pool and hot tub. Large bedrooms with king or queen beds with room for each person to have their own space. Close to grocery stores. And, outdoor privacy. This house was surrounded by beautiful vegetation. The only way you know there are neighbors is by hearing them outside. They can’t see you unless they are looking out their 2nd floor windows. (South side only).
We had an all adult group with our 3 daughters and their SO’s. The location made it so we could all have privacy and plenty of things to do nearby. We were within 1/2 mile to the beach where we did daily walks along the boardwalk which was an easy 10 min walk. The Farmers Market at Carlsbad Village was a great activity for Wednesday afternoon. Beautiful produce, awesome oranges, tasty food vendors. And don’t forget about ice cream at the world famous Handel’s.
The house is huge, clean, and comfortable. The breeze through the windows was perfect.
Pool: There are some kids pool toys but not much for adults. We bought sling chairs from Amazon which were compact and was easy to blow up the bladders on each side to allow you to sit in the pool.
Pool was clean and has a 7 1/2 foot deeper end that was nice to “ bob” in. Heated it one day midweek and it was still comfortable for the following 2 days.
Spa: We were able to heat it quickly. Kids enjoyed sitting in it at night.
Kitchen: Very well set up. Plenty of pantry items to cook with. Vons and Ralph’s & Costco were close to do your shopping. Plenty of cooking pots & pans. Large fridge and plenty of dishes.
35 minutes to San Diego where we had Excellent Mexican food at Old Town Mexican Cafe. (Get the Molcajete bowl)
Rent this place you will not be disappointed.

Excellent All Around
We had a great experience and will come back again! The property manager was on top of all details and communication prior to our trip, everything was clean when we arrived, and she went above and beyond to find an item we left and mailed it to us. The location is nice. We enjoyed walking to the beach (about 10-15 min easy walk), going to downtown Carlsbad for food and shopping, and it was quick and easy to get on the freeway to get to downtown San Diego. The house is huge and easily fit our group of 8.

Great house, minutes from the beach
We loved this house. The owner was very communicative and helpful, and the check-in with the keypad entry was a breeze. The house is really big - we could have shared with another family. For us, the highlights were the pool and hot tub, the grass yard with a high fence (we brought our dogs), the proximity to the beach (a 2 minute drive), the number of beach and pool towels provided (so many!), the big attached garage with plenty of parking, the responsiveness of the owner, the speed of the internet (since I also had to work), and the size and flow of the house. It's an easy drive to the core of Carlsbad along the ocean.. doesn't get any better than that! We would stay here again happily.

Great property
I stayed here with my cousins and our adult kids. There were 12 of us. There was a lot of room for us. We went to the beach once but mostly ended up loving staying at the house together, playing games and swimming in the pool. I contacted the owner once about heating the pool and she answered right away and was very helpful. The house was clean and decorated beautifully and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again

Family Vacation
We came from Idaho for a family vacation. We loved the house ! Very beautiful and wonderful for our large family! Pool and hot tub were great! We hope to come back in the future and will definitely stay in this home if available. The owners were wonderful to work with!
