Modern apartment (number 9) w/ outdoor parking included. Fully equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, dish washer,...), very useful since there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. Easy to find despite long dirt road to arrive. Very good indications by the owner. Overall excellent!

SUV necessary to access this location since there are several km of dirt road to go through. Plan a shopping expedition before arrival, nearest supermarket 30 km (and very small).

The cabin is really nice and welcoming, made of wood, in a quiet secluded area where we could see the northern lights the whole night! Very clean and comfortable, offers all amenities, fridge, coffee maker, water boiler, hair dryer. We couldn’t find the cabin as we arrived late in the evening and the owner was so kind to come meet us and drove us to the place. Fantastic stay, highly recommended for an authentic Icelandic experience!

Had a great assortment of facilities, including a kitchen etc. Was lucky to have stayed with the other rooms empty so had exclusive access. Room was huge and comfy, showers were properly hot.

Toilet ceiling was low, am 6"1 and hit my head a couple times on it being careless. Staff could be more helpful, drove in during heavy rain and was completely in darkness, host was looking at us through the window but no indication that we were at the right place. Drive in was completely dark, almost hit a tractor driving in. Couldn't work the TV but could be just me not familiar with the settings.

the host was super friendly and even informed (per IM) us about the northern lights, which showed during the night.

We've read there was an oven. But I guess they meant microwave. Also shower curtains stick to your body, I never like those things.

Pillows were useless. I had to make a pillow out of my dirty clothes. I booked for two beds. My friend and I were given a room with one bed. It starts to get weird sleeping in the same bed as your mate.

we had whole guesthouse for us so that was really great. rooms were nice and cozy. we had everything what we needed for one night.
