Family owned and run little hotel. Was nice to have someone to check in with and he was very friendly. Excellent communication. Very comfortable bed and pillows, quality linen, quality furnishings. Shower good, heating good, wifi good. Breakfast the best I’d had, Italian sweets plus ham, cheese and eggs. Close to train but historic centre a wee way away but you can catch the tram.

La posizione appena fuori dal centro ma tutto sommato con il tram si riesce ad arrivare molto bene anche rispetto alla stazione dei treni

Charming hotel with such a considerate host-- Mattia.

Nice rooms, location easy to walk to from the station, friendly and helpful staff, good restaurant just below the hotel.

Wifi connection was unreliable, and some of the rooms are close enough to the entrance that sound from e.g. people talking in the lobby was very audible.

First of all, the host is very welcoming. Smiling all the time and preparing coffee in the morning. The room was big enough and the beds were comfortable. My partner has problems sleeping, but this time she had nothing to complain about. Also, it was nice that we could quickly arrive to the railway station, it’s a great place to stay if you visit Venice, as the trains come from 30 to 30 mins and it takes less than 30 minute to arrive in Venice. Also, Padova is cheaper and nicer than Mestre/Marghera.

Some things that you might find problematic: the reception was open just until 18:30, there was no fridge and you could hear others in the morning. Also, the breakfast didn’t have too many options. The neighborhood is a bit shady, but still, we had no issues in 6 days.

Very clean, nice decor, terrace, nice breakfast. Mateo was super attentive in every way. He was quick to help with my inquiries.

A little concerned about walking in some parts of the street, but became more confident as I got to know it.

Convenient location close to Capella degli Scrovegni. Excellent restaurant at the ground floor. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Mattia is the perfect host.

Internet cut out alot. No hot water. TV volume locked that you couldn't hear it over the traffic noise. Seemed like a very dangerous part of town. Didn't feel safe walking around especially at night.

Mattia is friendly, helped me with my small issues. He was always available to any needs and always answering super fast. Everything was extremely clean and organized. I admire family business in general.

Attention to detail, superb hosts

Staff there was very very friendly. Only downside was choice of breakfast, which was the same everyday. Otherwise room service and rooms were very good.

location is not brilliant but reasonably close to the train station (15 min walk). Apart from the restaurant underneath which has no connection to the hotel, there are no other bars / restaurants nearby.

There is also a good restaurant with helpful staff next door, most appreciated if you arrive late.

The host was accommodating. He went beyond his duty to help me and resolve extra problems that I encountered not related to the hotel, for example, lost luggage, etc The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Great location just 10 mins walk from the main train station.

If you go from the railway station by foot, be aware of the few steps that you'll have to take. The road goes above the railways. Wasn't a problem for myself, but someone with heavy bags or elderly person might have difficulty.
