Super location, clean, great host.

The property is right in the middle of Padova, it's so convenient for everything you need and the atmosphere in the square made you feel really part of the city. Loads of places to have an aperitif and you must try the snacks at the bars, little toasted sandwiches with amazing fillings. The view over the rooftops from the terrace was very romantic and inspiring.

The 84 steps to the apartment but you kind of get used to it and it's so worth it for the rooftop view.

The location was excellent and the owners have thought about everything in the apartment. The apartment is secure and clean. It was a cosy and comfortable experience. Thank you very much. I had a wonderful experience because the apartment was so close to the conference venue at the university.

It would have been better to have some communication from the host about how and when to receive keys. Since I did not have much experience with AirB&B type accommodations, I did not realize that the host is there only to open the door and hand over keys. The host does not live near the apartment. I reached much before the 3pm check-in and found no way to open the street door or communicate with the host (my phone did not work in Italy). Fortunately, a tenant texted the host and they came by earlier to open the door.

bells, market, roofs of Padua, everything you need is nearby. A very romantic place.

I had to buy shampoo. the floors creak very much, the audibility of the neighbors is too much. but I want to come back to this terrace. :)

Location

We already told our host when making the reservation that we will be arriving between 19 - 20h. As a reply we were told in case we arrive later, there will be an extra charge of EUR 30,-, we thought that was a joke and merely a motivation to be punctual. When leaving in Austria we texted ahed to the person giving us the key that we will be there around 20h, due to a lot of traffic and having troubles finding the place we arrived at the appartement at 20:15/20:20h. After paying the city tax we were presented a second bill with the EUR 30,- extra charge for a "late Check-In". Never ever and at no place in the world we had to pay extra for the check-in because we were 15 mins late. After e-mail correspondence with the host we did not have to pay the fee, so at least this matter was settled. The condition of the appartement itself was very "used" and could be easily improved by investing a few euros. We had the impression no one really cared about it. Bed sheets and towels were quite old (grandma style, not soft and colours faded a long time ago). The shower tube was perforated, the shower head was clogged, doors (gap in the terrace door so you can feel a breeze when lying in bed) are very thin and the appartement is very noisy (you can hear everything from the appartement above) and if another appartement cooks your own appartement including your clothes smell bad. In total good location but bad value for money (we payed EUR 90,-per night, not a fortune but still)

This property is at the center of Padua, its location is a plus. It is exactly in front of "Palazzo della Ragione". The view from the house is beautiful. From Piazza delle Erbe , one can walk to the important artistic location of the town in 10-15 minutes. Really the location of this apartment is extraordinary. The apartment is nice , clean and quite. The bedroom has AC, very important during the hot summer days. We arrived a couple of hours before the checkin time. The host was so kind to accomodate the checkin to our arrival time. We strongly recommend it. 5 stars.

Practically nothing. The apartment is a little jewel. We would like to suggest the owner to add a portable fan in the kitchen/leaving room. It would be useful for the few days when the temperature is above 90F. The light bulbs of both lamps on the night tables were dead. However it was not an inconvenient, We did not even care to tell to the owner because we used a standing lamp.

Excellent stay in Padova! Amazing location! Would book again.
