I was suprised the outside seating area / lack of outside area wasn’t more comfortable especially with the beautiful views

No robes or slippers, no complementary items in Bathroom. No toothbrush ect. Very, very expensive for one night. Hotel did not feel like a 5*****.

Restaurant was dated, was sitting on cushions covered in food stains, was disappointed because bar was so lovely, where sat for food let it down! Also shame it didn’t have a steam room in the spa

Leonie and Olivia were excellent on reception. Great room and breakfast, fantastic view from room and resteraunt. Loved the spa which has easy access by lift. Hotel in a great location.

Zero service from reception staff whether we were coming or going. Flat old pillows. Dirty entry windows including revolving door. Dirty lift. Dated room.

The hotel is amazing with excellent customer service was greted by nikki who was absolutely lovely and got us checked in quite quickly whilst explaining how to access the facilities the room was spacious with a beautiful view over the bay throughout the stay when passing reception nikki would check in with us with friendly greetings making sure that everything was enjoyable with our stay. Moving onto breakfast there is a delicious spread for breakfast from hot and cold items and Meg one of the waiters in the restaurant area was absolutely amazing very friendly and funny and brighten our mornings a great start thr the day. The spa area was also clean and very accessible with a nice temperature for the pool and a lovely hot temperature for the hydro pool fair to say we are already in the process of booking our next stay (even if we have just checked out)

There is hardly anything that we didn't like the only small issue that was experienced during our stay was that the robes were not in the room which was quickly sorted by the staff. As plus size guests there was a little issue with the robes not closing but that did not stop us having an amazing holiday

The location is perfect,bars & restaurants 5 mins walk,overlooking the water.Breakfast had everything you could want,beautiful location.

It was located in a good place with some amazing views of the bay. The facilities were clean and very nice to use. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food/drink was served to a very good standard and promptly. The room was big, clean and freshly decorated.

The room temperature was showing 30°+ even with the air con on, we even asked at reception and had an additional standalone unit added which only circulated the hot air even more.

The location was great, the spa facilities were amazing.

The food service was terrible. I asked for Vegetarian sausage and I was given pork. This was very disappointing as I don’t eat pork. Also there was a loud noise of wind coming through the gaps in the balcony door. Made it very uncomfortable in the night.

The room was warm, clean and the bed very comfortable to sleep in. The view over Cardiff bay was amazing!

The breakfast could have been a bit better, there was no fresh pressed juice and a little few choices for this hotel category.

The position in Cardiff Bay

An extremely noisy air conditioning system that kept me awake all night Arrogant staff who don’t answer the phone or deal with problems . Concerned what would happen if a medical situation occurred and support was needed.

Room with a balcony was superb. Breakfast was delicious and a huge choice.

Parking was too expensive.

The room is spacious, clean and comfy bed The location is great. Enjoyed all the facilities.

The Voco St David is great place to stay

The property is very clean and tidy. the rooms are spacious and we had excellent views over the bay.

we had access to outside and would’ve liked chairs to sit outside but guessed that they would need to be seasonal due to the breeze this time of year.

The beds are so comfortable, as are the pillows. Breakfast is excellent. Loads of choices and well executed. Great location for the theatre.

I arrived an hour early so was given a pre-check in. Apparently no rooms can be released early although some rooms were obviously ready by 2pm. I then had to queue for 15mins to check in from 3pm. Seems a little "jobsworth" to me. Usually if a room is ready you can check in a little earlier.

Location to Cardiff bay & the Millennium Theatre, buffet breakfast was superb so much choice and they gave us a take away box for our Danish pastries to have later.

The temperature in the room was far to hot the heating was set to max 1st thing we did after entering our room was to turn it off & prop open the door onto the balcony with a chair to cool it down. The weather was mild for the time of year so can understand why.

Spacious rooms. Very good accessible bathroom/wet room. Balcony looking out over Cardiff bay and the old docks. Excellent staff.

Room and SPA were great. In particular the SPA had a full range of facilities needed. The room was spacey with a very comfortable bed and a nice balcony. Cleanliness was on point and room service has been received in a timely manner

Staff at the restaurant was in total chaos. Impossible to order hot beverages at breakfast, as the person that sits you at the table doesn't ask for it and the waiters are clueless on who needs to order. And even after asking 2/3 times they get it wrong, every single morning. When going for dinner, waited over 15 minutes just to get the bill, with the waiter prioritizing cleaning up tables to just bringing the bill for a simple signature as we were putting it on the room's tab. Room cards stopping to work at least once a day (both of the cards given each time!) and having to go to reception to sort it out.
