Lovely hotel, very clean bed and bathroom. Nice tray of drinks and snacks in the room

Car park was at the back of the building only accessable via the hotel entrance. As am disabled i was struggling with my suitcase walking from car park to hotel. It was very expensive at £18 per 24 hours and for this reasoni wont be staying at this hotel again.

The location was perfect and the whole hotel was stunning

The hotel is located on the main street of Canterbury close to lots of attractions, restaurants and cafes. The rooms are cosy and large with very comfortable beds. The view from the window is nice as it overlooks the main street.

The wifi connection is poor and would often drop out and the rooms had a strong smell of cleaning ingredients when we first arrived to our room which was unpleasant.

The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and attentive. The attention to detail was outstanding. It was my birthday and the flowers my husband had ordered on my arrival were beautiful, there was a card wishing me happy birthday from the hotel and the chocolate treats were lovely. Thank you

The only tiny moan was the temperature if the shower. It fluctuated from very hot to cold at times.

Parking was really poor . only a handful of spaces behind the hotel .. service charge on all of the drinks which worked out very expensive.. twice the price of a normal pub .. should be cheaper for hotel guests!

excellent location, own car park, all staff really friendly and helpful, super breakfast, comfy bed and good night’s sleep enjoyed. Champagne bar pleasant if expensive for drinks.

some sounds heard from other adjacent rooms and corridor from doors shutting loudly. Didn’t eat in restaurant in evening as too expensive and fine dining not what we wished for.

Bathroom very small , hairs left in the bath . Toilet seat stained . Sleep disturb by noise from the next room .

very central location, initially had issue with room being very noisy as it was near a club, however staff dealt with this quickly and efficiently and moved us to a quieter room, breakfast was amazing overall a fabulous stay and we would return definitely

Let me start by saying the location of this hotel is excellent and the outside has character in bundles.

For how much the rooms cost per night they are a very cheap finish. Plastic looking back splash sheets on the bathroom walls, cheap wallpaper, cracked floor tiles. I was expecting better for the inflated price compared to other hotels. Also the bar prices are a tad on the ridiculous side, that is when you can get someone to serve you. Overall we found the staff less than attentive and could do better in creating a welcoming environment.

The hotel was situated very well in the city centre. The rooms were well equipped and very comfortable. The staff were very attentive and polite. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good.

The food and drinks were a but pricey.

Nice room, friendly staff and a very good location in Canterbury.

It was very clean, nice decor and good laundry facilities. Plenty of space in the rooms. The dining area was lovely and the breakfast was very nice. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

I had left my charger in the plug but when I called immediately after leaving was told cleaning staff hadn’t found it. I definitely left it there this was disappointing as I assumed if you left something would be easy to retrieve.

So close to everything

Could hear other guests in the rooms next to ours. luckily they were quite quiet. it may have been difficult if they were noisier
