Staff very friendly and helpful.
The bed was comfortable and the room was in good condition.
Slightly tastier coffee would be nice. Dining chairs not suitable spending much time on.

De ligging is prima. Net buiten het centrum waardoor je de drukte kunt opzoeken. Het hotel heeft eigen parkeerplekken wat erg fijn was. Daar hoef je ook niet voor bij te betalen. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
Het hotel is echt vergane glorie. De foto's zijn totaal niet representatief voor het hotel zelf. Het was er benauwd en stonk er erg. Waarschijnlijk door het restaurant wat in het hotel zit. Geen enkel ventilatie systeem en de ramen konden dan wel open, maar waren erg vervallen dat we bang waren dat ze zomaar uit het kozijn zouden vallen. Het ontbijt was erg slecht. Weinig keuze en wat er was, was van slechte kwaliteit.

We are a family of 4 (including two kids) and we were given the "flat" as they call it, which is actually a 2 bedroom and living room flat. Very spacious, clean, bathroom fully renovated, lots of towels and toileties etc.
Breakfast seemed limited initially, not the variety one would expect from a 3-star hotel but quality was great. Freshly cut individual fruit balls, freshly baked croissants and freshly cooked english breakfast individually ordered. Coffee and tea options could have been better.
Staff was amazing, very helpful, kind and to the point. Congrats!
We also dined in the hotel restaurant, tried the carvery in the evening and some starters. Extremely pleasant surprise, great food, freshly made, great quality, good value for money and we're taken care of staff upon expectation, great service.
Great location too, 15' walk from city centre.
A bit more variety on breakfast buffet and coffees/teas would be good, but given the quality of the existing, I wouldn't say it's an issue.
A bit of modernisation in the rooms would be beneficial, but again not a great issue.

The staff were lovely. Food was great, good value and plenty of choice. The location was excellent, only 15min walk to the centre.
The cleanliness of our room was not good, also the furniture and doors a bit knocked about. The bed was very uncomfortable, could feel the springs.

The only problem was with the booking on Booking.com The price was not static and whilst I can understand prices change. I was convienced that the deal we booked included breakfast, which turned out to be wrong. This led to the trip costing a little more than budgeted for. This is a Booking.com issue and nothing to do with the Hotel

Comfortable room and plenty of parking availability
Was charged for a breakfast that I didnt have, however the hotel were happy to refund the charge. Someone may have used my roomcard that I left on the front desk to help themselves to breakfast.

The bed was Very comfortable.
I found the shower difficult to operate - perhaps the osteoarthritis in my hands didn’t help.
A hook for the hand towel would be useful.
A rail in the shower would be helpful. The floor is slippery.
The inner toilet seat doesn’t stay up alone.

Room was clean, breakfast was very English and met expectations. Beds were okay. The attitude of the staff was very good and courteous. All needed facilities were available.
The size of the bathtub was very small to have a shower. The heat was turned off during the night. Restaurant was not 24/7 - orders at the kitchen closed at 9:00 pm.

Ideally based for exploring Canterbury and surrounding area.The hotel was warm and welcoming with friendly staff who catered for any enquiry with a smile.
The room was very clean and well maintained with everything a couple would require for a comfortable stay.
The restaurant was excellent, the full English is highly recommended, and prices very reasonable.
Overall a fantastic break and the best recommendation I can give is I will be going back.
Honestly, I can’t think of any grumble.

The food was delicious and reasonable in price, with a decent choice.
We weren't happy with our room being at the front of the hotel, just by a busy main road. The noise of the traffic woke us up too early! However, the location of the hotel was excellent, easy walking distance into the city, all on the flat.
The bed was comfortable.
The shower. Not as good as ours at home. The bath was slippery and I know we could have asked for a non slip mat, but we kept forgetting.

Very good location just a short walk from Canterbury city centre. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had a problem with the shower flooding our bathroom on the first day but it was jumped on immediately and sorted out straight away. I left my phone charger behind and the hotel very kindly posted it to me. Big thanks :)
