I loved the style of the building it’s theme was great it was clean the pillows were super comfy, the shower was awesome bathroom nice and modern and clean.

The breakfast maybe could of been better. And would of liked to of been on a higher floor. Kept having to close the curtains on the lower floor as it was looking onto the car park. And people often walked past.

Donnington Manor was beautiful and where the restaurant was located. The main hotel was nicely presented, clean and comfortable

The pillows were a bit lumpy but the bed was very comfortable

The Restaurant! The food on the Dinner Menu was terrible. What you get is not as described on the menu so we complained and we weren’t the only ones. There were only 2 waiters but they didn’t appear to know what they were doing and also were manning the bar. Also they kept moving furniture about and dragged tables and chairs about on the stone floor instead of lifting them, so very noisy. Then, who looked to be like the Assistant Manager, was in and out of the main door of the restaurant at least 6 times and let the door slam every time! Hotel Manager couldn’t have cared less about anything.

The room was spacious and clean. We had a dinner at the hotel restaurant which was better than we expected.

The hotel furnishings are showing signs of age, could do with a refurb. but it was clean and suited us for a 1-night stopover

we were given a £5 voucher for the restaurant off £35 dining however it didn't state anywhere when we went to use it were told we had to spend £35 each to claim it.

The table was very wobbly... Spilt a drink.

Bar and restaurant staff were lovely and friendly. Evening Bar food was really good. They gave 10% discount for guests. Charging points for electric vehicles were available and working!!

No hairdryer in room. It took almost half an hour for one to be delivered which made us late for a concert.Breakfast was OK. Multiple items has to be asked for. No non-dairy milk was available with regular milk. This is usually standard at most hotels. Poor selection of bakery only mini danish, no croissants only bread to toast.

the room was a good size and the bed was comfy.

On the Friday night there was music playing until 11pm then on the Saturday night there were guests that were socialising until around 12.30pm. We had booked breakfast for the Saturday and Sunday. we went down for breakfast on Saturday and we stood waiting for about 10mins and nobody came. I went back through to reception and he went to the kitchen. We looked at the cooked items and there was no beans left, only 2 slices of Hash browns left, only a couple of rashers of bacon. We couldn’t even get a glass of orange because that was low. We went back to the reception which was unattended for another 10mins and we found out he went to the kitchen. I asked for a refund for both days and we went elsewhere for our breakfast.

room 103 had no curtains in the room. this made a really bad nights sleep and woke up early due to day light

Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean, very friendly and efficient staff. The rooms are definitely value for money.
